I was extremely disappointed with my experience with Prerna Khullar. It has taken me years to write this review because my experience with Prerna was so disappointing and disheartening. I was travelling from Canada and I did my research. I connected with several make up artists and ended up choosing Prerna. I booked Prerna for make up for my wedding and reception. Prior to booking, I confirmed with Prerna TWICE that she would be doing my make up for both events and she confirmed she would be. It was decided that I would be paying her $1600 CAD per event. Prerna arrived to the hotel on the wedding day late as she ended up going to a different city. That was manageable and she did a amazing job on my wedding make up. The day of my reception, she sent two younger members of her team. The two young girls were extremely kind, caring and sweet; however, I was shocked when they did my make up. It was make up I could have done myself, not a reception look at all. The poor girls did not know how to put extensions in my hair. At that time, there was nothing I could do - I couldn’t blame the two girls and it wasn’t their fault. I ended up looking like a girl who was going to any function, not at all like a bride who was attending her wedding reception. It infuriates me that I chose someone who was so unprofessional. I confirmed she would be doing my make up, I paid her a substantial amount and I trusted her as a reputed make up artist. However, whenever I look at my wedding reception pictures I become extremely disappointed in her service delivery. Prerna is an extremely talented MUA, she does amazing make up. BUT she has horrible service delivery and horrible customer service. She took away something from me that I can never get back - the feeling a bride should feel at her reception. This will be something that I regret every time I think about my reception and every time I watch my reception video or look at pictures. **Please note my rating is a reflection of my experience, not her skills as a MUA. Prerna - I notice you responding to all the positive feedback and not addressing the negative feedback. I hope you learn and do better. What you have done is unfair and unjust and I hope you can do better for the people you serve. You have made what should have been one of my happiest moments into one that I regret because of the decisions you made.

I had the most beautiful wedding but the experience with Prerna Khullar was so disappointing that I cant even begin to start with the number of tantrums showed. She came with an assistant along with her mother ( without informing us in advance), she ordered room service lavish array of dishes without any intimation or prior discussion. She was fully paid for me and my mother in advance, but refused to finish her job for my mother and left without notice, and we were left in a helpless situation. She was only interested in getting her pictures taken with my ( celebrity Brother-) soon as she had his bite recorded, she was out of sight. She left without finishing her job , for which she was fully paid for. Dont even get me started on her charges, they are insanely rocket high. Please I would not suggest any bride to fall for an unhappy experience on your D- Day.

She's the worst makeup artist I have ever met. I booked her for 2 days for my main functions, her stay was in Jaypee agra and I paid for her mother stay and meal for courtesy and she act like she's doing all for free. I pay her such a high amount that she do not deserve. For 2 days she always shooting on phone and her girl(helper). She had a bad attitude. Instead of claming Bride, she was shouting on different people so that I can't take out mistakes on her makeup(because she wasn't giving chance to speak). Gals, I suggest you plz plz plz don't book her, at my time all makeup artist was booked and if I knew her attitude I won't book her. Her tantrums are so high that even bride won't have it on her Big Day. She's the worst worst person, makeup artist I have ever met. I book her for myself and my sister. She done such a DIRTY MAKEUP on her on first day that she has to wash her face and done makeup by herself for 2 days. I wasted 2lacs on such a WORST, ARROGANT, HIGH ON TANTRUMS, HARD-HEARTED MAKEUP ARTIST. GALS, SAVE YOURSELF. SHE WILL DO ANYTHING INSTEAD OF MAKING YOU CRY. I WANT EVERYONE JUST BOYCOTT HER FROM MAKEUP INDUSTRY. I hope this review will help you.

I bet a lot of people will agree to this that she is a very arrogant woman She is a horrible person trust me. She doesn’t have any sense as to how to talk to people. Initially she looks all nice and sweet when you talk to her but I haven’t met a person worse than her. She preaches buddhism and talks about karma and ironically, she herself is the one who is a panic stricken, ill spoken and a very high headed human. She is VERY MONEY MINDED, and when I say that, I mean every word of it. She thinks of herself as a very professional person and a great makeup artist, but in my opinion her work is just average😂 I can go on writing but I guess let it be for now

For my wedding makeup, I hired the services of Prerna Khuller. I am satisfied with her work. She did a good job and her makeup was praise-worthy. But she wasn't that professional in the terms of her behaviour with her clients. I found her a bit moody and rude sometimes so I feel that can be improved. Thanks anyway!

It is the most special day for any girl and it is so disheartning when your Mood Gets spoiled because of a Person who is responsible to add extra glitter to you rour face. I had my bridal makeup done by Prerna last month in October. Prerna was able to accommodate me after my original artist cancelled a week before the wedding! I was quite nervous initially on how I would look but Prerna did a wonderful job and I was pleased with the final look! No doubt Prerna made me look beautiful on my wedding day but I guess the type of makeup she did could be done by any other average makeup artist. She is highly unprofessional and super arrogant which will actually spoil your mood that you will not feel beautiful. Every bride on her D-day expects some amount of warmth and not someone who is screaming on her head even if it is on others. She was very rude towards her hairstylist and the photographers. She did not even let the photographers take ?getting ready shots? which almost every bride wants in today?s time. Try to behave properly with everyone (including client?s family and friends), stay grounded and let not success take it away from you. My suggestion to everyone would be do not book her and if you are still wanting to book her then try to agree all the terms beforehand. I booked Prerna Khullar for my bridal makeup.She made me feel really comfortable and calmed me down on my big day. I loved her work and my makeups were excellent. It was just how I had imagined. A big thanks to her.

This woman is arrogant and unprofessional as hell! I booked her for my wedding makeup last year. Her makeup was just alright (no wowwww factor keeping in mind the amount I paid). Moreover, she did my makeup in full rush within like 35-40 mins because she had another bride to dress that day.. but hey! I paid for your travel charges even though my town was just freaking nearby Jallandhar (her hometown) and so I definitely deserved the attention to detail on my wedding day makeup. Please start getting your schedules sorted and learn how to be professional and punctual so that you can give each bride the time she deserves on the biggest day of their lives. Not only that but the worst thing about her is that she treats the other person like shit especially her team members. I honestly feel sad for the girl who was with her that day! She was embarrassed and had tears in her eyes by Prerna's arrogant behavior. She definitely needs to learn how to treat people..doesn't matter if they are your clients or your team members. Your team members aren't your slaves! Like seriously, have some respect! People pay you and get their makeup done it's not like you come and do it for free. So start treating everyone nicely. I am really glad that I found this site to write a review about Prerna .i got married back in 2015 . When I booked her in October she told me that she is free lancer and she provides on location services . But a week before my wedding , she texted me that she can?t come to my house, which is a small town close to Taran Taran nd she wanted me to either book Hyatt hotel in Amritsar or visit her place in Jalandhar. the reason behind this last minute change according to her that she had a negative experience visiting somebody at their village and her dad isn?t available to come with her to my place. By the time she informed me , my family already had reserved place for phere at my hometown . i reminded her to visit my place as promised when I booked her ; she told me that her team doesn?t feel safe traveling to small towns . Do you really want to know who is part of her makeup team : Prerna, her mom , a car driver and hair artist . she had three bookings on same day . She wanted me to get my makeup done before 7 am ; however, my phere wasn?t until 11:30 . Literally this lady ruined my wedding , she made me feel like hopeless kid that I had my mom speak for me and figure out the solution to this problem and convinced her to do my makeup at 9 am, but still wanted me to get my hair done before she starts doing my makeup, so she sent her hair artist at 7 am . Moreover , her hair artist was horrible. Let me say something about cost. She charged me rs . 60,000 for my one day make-up which was the price for airbrush bridal makeup , which she even didn?t do. I wanted her to give me makeup trail but she wanted me to pay her rs. 5000 to do make up on half face . On wedding day , She did the whole makeup in less than 40 minutes because she had the one more bride to see after me . She rushed through everything. She was very rude to my sister-in law that she can?t focus if my sister in law stays in that room , but her own mother were sitting next to us and telling me how should I wear my jewelry. It is not just that she is rude to her clients but She was yelling at her own team members front of me . Well she asks for 50% in as advance and I sent her money through western union without knowing how much will it exchange into Indian currency . On my wedding day, she asked me to pay her rest of 50% and I told her I sent you $500 , which was about 60 % of her fee . She didn?t believe me , I was fortunate enough that I had picture of receipt in my phone . I would never recommend this artist to anyone there are much better make-up artist in Punjab and you will be treated like princess .

She did my make-up for three functions - Mehendi, Cocktail and the Wedding; each look better than the other and perfect for the occasion. With Prerna as your make-up artist you can expect sheer professionalism yet she'll make sure you are all comfortable and relaxed for the functions ahead. I happened to meet Prerna Khullar for my cousin’s wedding and I must say that l was wowed by her makeup skills. My cousin had a troubled skin so she was a bit conscious about her look on her D-day. Not only Prerna made her look absolutely flawless but also her skin was glowing like gold. When I interacted with her I realised she is much more than just a makeup artist. Spiritual to the core, she oozes wisdom and sensibility in everything she has to say. I don’t know when but my wedding makeover too has to be done by Prerna Khullar .

Prerna khullar is an amazing artist contrary to the some of the negative reviews i read on this page. I had an amazing experience while getting makeup for myself and my sister in law. She makes the bride feel special and takes care of their needs and she charges for what she does. She has an amazing eye to detail and does what she does with such attention and precision. If there is any makeup artist who has inspired me the most in the indian beauty industry it’s none other than Prerna Khullar. Her makeup and aesthetic sense is commendable. As I am a makeup artist too, I get to learn a lot from her. Every bride of her’s is a masterpiece and definitely second to none. Being in the industry I have heard a lot about about her following the basic norms of punctuality and perfection. Since I have met her twice at someone’s wedding so I must say I have been overwhelmed by her warm demeanour.

I wish there was an option here of zero stars. Because thats what she deserve. If i have to caption my experience with this unprofessional lady it will be “ when she acted as the bride on the day of my wedding”. The day when the bride cries out of emotions of leaving behind her family and entering into a new life, this lady made me cry much before that moment. She is full of tantrums and horribly rude. She acted like as if she is doing this for free and someone is forcing her to. She did a horrible job in make up too. She kept on sleeping while i was standing there( barely slept) for her to get up and do my make up. I paid for her stay at Taj, her meals, travel. I feel betrayed. For all the going to be brides considering this make up artist should remember one thing. If you want to feel looted, terrible and feel the worst on the D day of your life. Go ahead! It seems that stardom( there are better makeup artists out there) has stuck her hard and she has lost her mind. I booked her for my engagement and bridal makeup. For my reception and cocktail i had booked hair masters and rabia, they both did a far far amazing job. That costed me 1/6th or even lesser and gave me the actual bridal treatment in addition to listening to me, what kind of make up i wanted. Please think before booking her and save yourself the horror of making your wedding day actually to cry for the emotions for your family and not because of this lad turning your day into a nightmare.

I happened to be a wedding choreographer at two-three weddings where Prerna had done makeup for the bride and her family. I must say that all the brides looked phenomenally beautiful. PK ? the most ?unprofessional made-up? artist My sister-in-law got married in Goa last Wednesday (i.e. 29Nov ?17) and we had the ill fate of booking the obnoxiously rude and unprofessional Prerna Khullar for her bridal make-up. This post highlights the hours of agony caused by PK?s behavior and incomplete work. 9.00am: PK arrived with a team member and started misbehaving with the bride?s brother. Many people noticed a woman (who appeared from nowhere) yelling at the bride?s brother, ?where?s the breakfast? Am I supposed to fill up my plate (from a buffet breakfast), really? Next question in the same tone, ?when will the bride be reaching me?? She was conveyed that the bride would be with her at 11am. 10.00am: PK?s almost 1-hour massage was complete on the massage chair we provided to her. 10.15am: The bride?s chura ceremony had just begun when PK?s assistant came running and announced that they were departing. Very surprised with this development, my wife and me went to confront her, and were the next recipients of PK?s ?now famous? rude mannerisms, ?I told Garima to be here by 10am, now I?m leaving?. My wife: ?we conveyed upon your arrival that she will be here by 11am, how can I bride start getting ready at 10am in the morning, leaving her chura ceremony?? PK: ?I am not talking to you. Ask your mom to come and talk to me? 10.30am: The bride?s mom came to meet PK (again leaving the chura ceremony; just to reiterate ? by now the bride?s mom, Bhabhi and sister were all away from the chura ceremony and dealing with PK?s unprofessionalism). PK: ?I had kept 2 hours for the make-up from 10am-12pm and now I will not stay here for a minute; get out of my way?. Bride?s mom: ?please don?t spoil the bride?s big day. She will be here in the next 10 minutes. Sorry that you had to wait.? PK: ?10 minutes it better be; because I leave if the clock touches 10.46am? 10.45am: The bride finally entered her room (where PK and her assistant had been creating all havoc since the last 1.5+ hours). Please note that the chura ceremony had to be wrapped up in no time. That the bride?s mom, Bhabhi, or sister have no picture with the bride with her chura ON and they will never have one again. The ordeal does not end here. PK did not stop and misbehaved with the bride, on multiple occasions. 10.50-11.50am: The make-up only lasted 1 hour (while 2 hours had been kept for it). PK (folded her hands and shouted at the bride): ?why can?t you decide which lipstick shade you want at once? I can?t go back to pink if you choose red now?. The bride being the most soft-spoken person (and obviously nervous given her big day, that had been ruined by PK so far), was literally in tears. PK was unable to place eyelashes and after three failed attempts, ?could you stop moving (crying, I mean). How do I put these damn lashed on otherwise?? And, since, according to her the bride was ?late?, she did not a. do the nail paint, b. refused to drape her outfit?s chunni, c. did not provide a lipstick filler (the wedding ceremony had to begin in the evening and PK was insisting on the bride to be ready at 12am so that she could go dress up another bride). Obviously, it?s Garima?s big day, so what, PK could not risk losing a whopping INR 85,000 for another bridal make-up. Therefore-what if the two brides were located at venues that were more than 2 hours apart and so-what if PK?s was flying back in the evening (perhaps to do another make-up late in the evening). It is not her problem that the bride had to sit with her make-up ON for almost 6-7 hours, and obviously in a very sunken mood, again all thanks to her uncouth attitude and behavior. 12pm. After doing a bridal make-up in a record 55 mins, PK was again seen yelling at the bride?s brother, ?where?s the car? Why is my luggage not in the car already?? 12.15-2pm: She yelled at the driver more than 50 times. At one point, the driver had to pull over the vehicle and offer her to drive the car herself, as he was sick and tired of her continuous yelling and forcing him to disrespect all traffic rules. To sum it up, we paid INR 85,000/- to an uncultured, uncivilized woman who spent three horrendous hours at our expense and spent only 55 minutes to apply make-up to a bride (who had been waiting for her big day for so long). Can you imagine the ordeal that she went through (in addition with all other family members who could not attend the chura ceremony, did not eat breakfast and were in a really bad mood throughout the rest of the day? In addition, yes, just to provide some more background to highlight the greed of the unprofessional PK: when we had first approached her for the make-up, she insisted that we also get two party make-ups worth INR 35,000/- each done and that she would not be travelling just for a bridal. We politely declined the offer. Then unexpectedly she called one day and said that she has another bride and now she could take up Garima as well. After we paid INR 40,000/- in advance, she said that she would charge another 10,000/- over and above her obnoxious fee as this was an outstation wedding. The bride kept following up with her to know the make-up time slot, but PK did not respond for the longest time. Then one fine day she told Garima to be available at 8.30am in the morning ? can you imagine, guys, 8.30am in the morning for a PUNJABI wedding (no, she did not get married in a church). When Garima asked her to refund the advance (in that case), she started yelling (that is what she is best at) and agreed for 11am instead (but now you know what happened on the wedding day). Please share this post with your friends and family, if you a. were present at the wedding (and witnessed the above with your eyes and ears), OR b. know someone who has gone through a similar fate at PK?s hands, OR c. are feeling ridiculous after reading this post and sympathize with the bride and her family, OR d. believe that no one deserves such treatment especially after paying though their nose for services (that weren?t even fully delivered), OR e. normal human being who cares for others and would like to play her/his part in getting such an incident known to everyone.

I totally agree with Pindi , I booked Prerna Khullar for my wedding in Punjab. a. She charged me to airbrush makeup which was not too be seen in her kit. She did not mention the change to normal makeup or whatever. I broke out really bad around my wedding so I kept quite thinking she will know better. That was a total ripoff. b. She has zero knowledge of hair dos and duppatta drapping . Her assistant does all that. c. Her mother is always there sitting in the corner all the time. Mother asks for money and sits. d. She asks extra for Lashes on you day after you pay her the money. e. Very rude and very u her self personality. She does not ask what are your expectations from your look. My makeup was good when she applied but it started to peel after an hour. I called her she did not pick up my phone. Next day my photos very on her social media accounts . I Asked her to take them off . Again no replies. She is such a waste of money and you don't deserve such kind of negativity on your big day.

I got my makeup done from Prerna for my wedding and reception my sister also got her makeup done from Prerna for my wedding and reception, I paid 75k for each event plus lashes 5k extra for each event and travel charges also my sister paid 35k for each event plus lashes for each event. Now the makeup I would say was fine I would of been satisfied if it wasn't for the hell she put me through on the most special day of my life. Iam going to list below in bullet points of things highlighting the horrendous horrible disturbing service I received from Prerna Khullar. 1. My wedding was a early Sikh Morning ceremony I needed to be ready by 8am - Prerna showed up late without even communicating she is running late she didn't answer my calls all morning this gave me severe anxiety and I was so worried she isn't going to show up she finally answered and said she will be there soon. 2. As soon as she showed up she was not even apologetic that she is late she was rude and arrogant and as she was about to begin she took her phone out to take a photo of my sister and I (obviously to do those before and after shots she does to degrade women) we said we don't want to be featured on her Insta or FB to which she responded I will not do your makeup if you don't let me take your photo I will leave right now in an absolute disgusting and horrible manner she said this to us. Obviously she knows she will win as this is such a vulnerable situation for a bride we were already running late and here she was threatening not to do my makeup or my sisters if we don't take photos. 3. My wedding and reception was on the same day so she needed to Travel to my Inlaws for the evening makeup my sister also came to my Inlaws home, she had already said she would have to wait around in my district which is moga dist, so would I make sure I would hurry up and be ready for her to do my makeup in the evening, so she expected me to rush all my rituals so she could do my makeup for evening when it suited her. (Please note I had paid her X2 travel fee even though she was travelling only once to that area). 4.She arrived to my Inlaws and was annoyed as soon as she got there because my sister was not there yet she wanted her assistant to do my hair and she do makeup and then swap over so she Could be out of there fast, my sister arrived the whole time Prerna complained about how she is running late because of us, I needed to iron my lengha blouse to which she got angry that now she has to wait to do my makeup because I need to put blouse on and then she can do makeup, it was my wedding day my big day and she couldn't let me iron my blouse. 5. This made me as it would make any bride angry my sister started crying because of the way she was behaving, at this point I had seriously had enough and told her to leave my makeup was not done at this point but I could not tolerate her behaviour anymore, at this point her Mother apologised for her and said for me please to relax and let her finish, her mum was with her the entire time I'm guessing she behaves like this a lot so her Mother has to vouch for her behaviour. 6. I messaged Prerna after a few months of my wedding to tell her how she had made me feel so uneasy restless and full of anxiety on my special day, and told her I wanted to let her know so she could think twice before ever treating another bride or person getting her services done like that again, I got no response from her. These points are all summarised as I could not possibly go in to the other little details without making this review too long. The makeup and hair as I said was fine, my day time Makeup I was fine with with reception I felt it wasn't what I was after or asked for. But her entire demeanour and behaviour is so so horrible that I would not recommend Prerna to my worst enemy, she has makeup skills- yes, I can't say for hair as her assistant did both our updos for both events and the hair was great, but Prerna herself only did makeup, even the duputta draping was done by her assistant, and no nailpolish application is done. So in conclusion the price I paid for Prerna was definitely not worth it at all.

I booked Prerna for two functions - cocktail and wedding, along with two party make ups of my mom and aunt on the wedding day. First of all, she demanded the complete payment on the cocktail day. Literally gave me stress. Then she ran away on my D-day, and didn't even care to inform me. I found out through her instagram and snapchat. I called her up, she said that she'll send over her team. Yes, this is what she did on my wedding day. And I booked her 5 months prior. She sent over her team, another artist which charges even less then 1/3rd of what she charges. I could've booked her directly as well. To sum up, she just fools people. Don't spend your money her, not worth it.
