She also advised me to get a second a thread put on the blouse in the case that I loose weight (which I eventually did). The ease of the online experience, the magnificence of the store, the wonderful hospitality of the staff, the genuine support and guidance that I received from Dimple, and off course, the gorgeous lehenga that I wore at the end, really made me feel like THE Sabyasachi Bride that I always dreamed of being.Source

Just 2 weeks back, admist the pandemic, I travelled to Kolkata all the way hoping to have a successful visit to the Sabyasachi store for my wedding lehenga. I booked a personalized bridal appointment but little did I know that the store representatives would be so casual and unpleasant about it. They did not take the appointment seriously at all. Firstly, they showed me 12-15 outfits on display and said "choose your lehenga". I wanted one of the designs they had on their social media but they said it cannot be done. I asked them to show me what can be done because I was leading the appointment due to their inefficiency. They said "you'll find everything on our social media, check there." I was shocked. I said "well yeah that's what I did but you said you've discontinued the style. So it'll be better if you can show me what can be done and what cannot be done". I then asked for designs in a particular shade of blue that Sabyasachi had done before, but they said there are none. I asked if one of the current designs could be made in that color and she laughed and said "Sabyasachi obviously doesn't customize". What's so obvious in that? As a customer, am I not entitled to ask basic questions or ask if they customize. She said "We only customize sizes and fit". At that point of time, I walked out saying "wow that's a first". The next thing she said was "our new collection is coming up next week, you should come back for it." I said "Ma,am, I am from Ahmedabad, I can't travel back on 24th just to see his new collection. It'll be great if you can show me glimpses of it, i still am hopeful." She said "They've uploaded some of it on their social media so you can see there. Otherwise you can also visit Bombay and Delhi if you want." Well yeah I WANT to travel to the moon also, is this a joke? I don't doubt anyone's exclusivity. If Sabyasachi had policies, I respect them. But treating a client with so much disregard or looking down upon them is not fair. Seeing reality shows like Band Baaja Bride, I really thought the store was all about making the appointment the happiest day for the bride and no bride should leave feeling disappointed. Well, I have never been so disheartened in my life. Maybe if they showed some interest in my presence, they would have atleast shower me what's available to order, that's the least they could do. Today, I'm still wondering what could have been possible and what couldn't.

I don't think there is much I can say to toot this horn. Sabyasachi, hands down, is one of the best designers in the world. His stores, designs, collections are out of this world. Though I am in love with ALL things Sabyasachi, I'm not going to lie, dealing with the store representatives can be quite a nightmare. They are not very warm, nor very helpful. Some staff do go out of their way but majority have a bit of a snooty attitude towards you. In saying that, this still did not deter my dreams of being a Sabyasachi bride. I wish the experience could have been better though. Source

It's every girl's dream to dress in a Sabyasachi lehenga and when it comes to bridal couture, his lehengas are totally amazing in terms of craftsmanship and aesthetics. While I totally loved my lehenga and felt like a million bucks wearing it, my shopping experience at the Delhi store wasn't that great. I have met Sabyasachi at a couple of occasions and he is a gem of a person - but the same can't be said about a couple of staff members who are not very courteous and were a little intimidating. I hope this rectifies in future, as no bride would like to feel belittled on shopping for what could be one of the biggest days of her life. I knew I didn't want to wear red and the outfit had to have an element of pop and contemporariness. The pop pink with lots of gold is exactly what I had always visualized. My Indian night outfit was made to Measure Crystal Lengha (skirt) by Sabysachi from his Ferozabad collection. A very modern ivory Indian bridal outfit which is hand embroidered on canvas fabric with beads & crystals which weighed around 10kgs (well worth the weight). My Wedding outfit was also made to Measure Pink Cloud Lengha by Sabyasachi from his Ferozabad collection. It was a victorian inspired gown. Which was also hand emboidered with a mix of thread work & beading which had a touch of turquoise handprinted floral details. I loved how the overall look is understated and elegant and not so traditional. My favourite part of the outfit was the sash which is partly printed and partly net with embroidery weaved through the belt (belt was worn for the reception).

We met with Sabyasachi and he handpicked my sangeet lehengha at his mumbai flagship store. It was the most amazing outfit called piatani emerald green. He made a few changes according to my body type.

My favourite was probably my cocktail outfit. It was a Sabyasachi lehenga in very unusual colours ? Brown skirt, rust blouse and 2 chunnis ? one blue and one orange.

<p>For the jet setting trendy fashion followers around the world Sabyasachi Mukherjee&rsquo;s Resort 2015 collection &ldquo;Big Love&rdquo; was one of the most amazing openings ever seen for a fashion event in India. The show definitely set new fashion directions on how to dress when the mercury sours and the sun shines brightly. <p><br /> <span style="color:rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family:arial,sans-serif; font-size:small">For my outfit,&nbsp;</span>i<span style="color:rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family:arial,sans-serif; font-size:small">&nbsp;did not want something absolutely traditional neither absolutely ball&nbsp;</span>roomish<span style="color:rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family:arial,sans-serif; font-size:small">, I spoke to Sabyasachi and we decided upon a floor length embellished&nbsp;</span>outfil<span style="color:rgb(34, 34, 34); font-family:arial,sans-serif; font-size:small">&nbsp;in fades of pink in a cut out back. The&nbsp;gold sequin and mirror work looked great during the night. And because it was a round neck, I did not&nbsp;want to overdo it with a necklace, so chose to do a &#39;passa&#39; and earrings instead</span></p>

<p>Sabyasachi- the master of traditional Indian brides. When I entered the Sabyasachi store, the collection then was bent towards darker colors. I started my search for lighter colors totally ignoring the lehengas and darker colors. While all outfits that I tried on, one after the other, were exquisite, they weren&#39;t feeling like my own. Each was amazing, but none felt like the &quot;it&quot; one for me.<br /> <br /> After more than 2 hours, I decided to call it a day. It suddenly dawned on me that finding my perfect outfit isn&#39;t going to be that easy. As this is the last tension that I needed along with the building pressure of the upcoming wedding. A little disheartened, I got ready to leave the store. But, my bridal lehenga chose me!<br /> <br /> Just as I moved towards the trial room, someone was trying on this exquisite bright red lehenga. As cheesy as it may be, it was love at first sight. one glance at my mother and we both knew our search for my bridal outfit had ended. Very eagerly, I called out to the store manager, not being able to wait to get my hands on this outfit. As soon as I tried it on, I knew it was MINE.! The lehenga made me feel special, pretty but most of all, it let me be myself.</p> <p><span style="line-height:1.6">What came next was an awestruck conversation with the man himself, Sabyasachi who told me to wear a pale color lipstick with my lehenga. Now I know why he&#39;s known as the quintessential designer for Indian brides. His attention to detail is something I absolutely admire.</span></p>

<p>Yet another face behind much needed makeover of some actresses (Vidya balan, Rani Mukerji). He brings glamour to simple and age old Indian fabrics like no one else. He has brought back Kanjivaram, banarsi and cotton to the ramp. His Bridal wear highlight the same characteristic. <p>Sabya is my fav designer and two outfits were from him. The turquoise pagdi&rsquo;s , the tassles, the cream colored kalire and the Pink and mint Sabya with white pearl work.</p>

<p>Sabyasachi showed me a panel of a lehenga inspired by Raja Ravi Vermas painting. It was a blend of rose pink, teal, coral and gold! Loved it!</p> Source

<p>I had a meeting with Sabyasachi when he was in Delhi and he personally helped to pick this outfit. I didn&#39;t want the traditional red color, but wanted something bright that would compliment my skin tone and the shade of pink was perfect. I was sold immediately as it was light in weight and looked gorgeous and not overdone!</p> Source

<p>Sabyasachi gave me my dream wedding lehanga. The fittings were perfect in one go and the beautiful red color along with intricate gold embroidery made me look classy and gorgeous on my D-day.</p>

<p>Sabyasachi has the most exquisite clothing range and hence always has been my favourite. I wore a bottle green sharara on my mehendi from sabyasachi and it was one of the best looks i have carried throughout my journey to the wedding!</p>

<p>Bought two outfits for my sister&#39;s wedding and both of them were phenomenally gorgeous. I especially love my black anarkali with delicate white thread detailing around the neck and the sleeves. Sabyasachi will always feature in my favourites!</p>

<p>I went to Calcutta because I?m a believer in beginning at the source. The pink wedding lehenga was not like anything I had ever seen before. In a Sabya store or otherwise. It had oodles of detailing, beautiful colors and that traditional touch without which a bride is incomplete. I was still looking for my wedding lehenga when I saw this red threadwork lehenga tucked away and I knew it was the one. And there I was, done with two outfits in one day. I would highly recommend a trip to Calcutta if its Sabyasachi you?re looking for. The staff at the store is great and they are able to show you swatches in case you don?t find</p>

<p>I really wanted to go traditional for all my functions while keeping in mind the theme for each. My wedding outfit was actually the first one I had ever seen, at the first store I ever went to and that&rsquo;s the only one I ever saw. I didn&rsquo;t want to look any further, I was so happy with it. I purchased it on the spot! <p>I have no words to describe him. He is so humble and down to earth. He is the most passionate and dedicated person when it comes to his work. He spent around 4-5 hours just to make sure that the jewelry that was selected matches my outfit and would stand out. After that we shot at his store in Mumbai till like 2 AM even though he was also jet lagged from a recent travel. His talent has no bounds and that?s obviously evident to everyone who has seen his work!!</p>Source

My wedding outfit was from Sabyasachi and the outfit was so royal. There is a different vibe all together in Sabyasachi designs, they are so royal and have a heritage look to them. Best lehenga ever.
