For Makeup, I could only trust my best friend and bridesmaid, Savleen for my wedding. We both have a similar style of work, subtle yet glamorous so I knew she was the right choice when I had to think about makeup artist. There couldn't have been a better choice than Savleen and her magic hands!Source

Appointing Savleen for my bridal make-up was not only a bad decision but possibly the most horribly experience i have had to face from someone who is in a client servicing industry. She is highly unprofessional and her lack of respect towards the client is just jarring. She was an hour and half late for my make-up (this is after numerous calls and reminders - so seems like she completely forgot her appointment! ) and had no courtesy to apologize or even explain why she kept the bride waiting... The whole time she was on phone, disrespectful towards her hair artist (don't know her name), my friend and to top it all my mother. Her inapproachable and unfriendly behavior just made every one around uncomfortable. So clearly at a time when i should be relaxing and not stressing, she didn't make any of it easier. Her balance amount was to be paid in cash but due to non-functional atm's around and not carry a whooping sum in our pockets, i requested her if i could transfer the amount (my phone was handy and it would have taken less than 2 mins to do it so the question of her having to wait around for her fees wasn't really a problem). But instead of understanding and not arguing with the bride, she thought it was best to do just the opposite. She didn't shy away from creating a scene and being rude to us (at which point I realized the same should have been done by me or my family members when she forgot this very appointment) Anyway.. to all the brides out there who are reading this, make a wise choice and if i were you wouldn't approach her for any work. Not because she is not good at it (i chose her for that reason) but because of the unpleasant experience. if 0 was an option in this rating - mine would have been that

On the other hand, I must compliment Savleen Manchanda, she is a lot of fun to work with and was very sweet as well. My skin kept reacting to the makeup (I have eczema) but she kept applying things to cool it down and make me comfortable. I loved my Mehendi look the most (thats totally me) and then my Reception and Wedding look. Source

Definitely not for weddings. Did very basic make up and did not even customise it as per individual needs. Was not happy with the overall result.

savleen is just best in her job... Dissatisfied..... Needs to be always reminded of the occasion dates, timing issues, wants to hurry up the make up, can be very rude and is always on phone even while doing make up. Given the amount that we spent, so unhappy. Theses are once in a lifetime occasions and they cannot be treated so casually.

This woman is a force to reckon with..as intimidating she might look she is the most superfriendly I have across. She is a no nonsense person who will make you( the bride/ client) super comfortable and also like a movie star. The make up she does will highlight your features hide your flaws still it will barely there, you wouldn't look like a marketing personnel for a makeup company. Prachi the hairstylist the drapist listens to you coz I am particularly finicky about my hair though on the make up front I let Savleen take the reigns. She works magic on you like a painter does with his colours on an empty canvas.

Savleen did my makeup recently and she did an amazing job. I am honeslty petrified of makeup artists because I have the kind of face that can look REALLY wrong with makeup not done well, but Savleen was a pro . She gave me smokey eyes and anude lip. But what stood out the most was how professional and at the same time, warm & friendly she was. Also special mention to the hair stylist- my hair have never looked better than how they did that day. My friends are all asking me about it !
