One of the reasons we chose his group was that his service was less commercial and more personal. I had a wonderful experience shooting with Shishir Gaurav and his team. My Fiancé and I went to his office/home after getting recommendations from friends who assigned them for the task. We loved how the team made us so comfortable with the pre-wedding and the couple shots. Their approach was highly professional and we loved the quality that they delivered, exactly as promised. We highly recommend them as they are value for money, provide high quality candid and traditional pictures, they also promised a delivery date and delivered on the same date (as we had time crunch and we wanted pictures a bit early). Apart from the quality, they had good variety in shots and covered almost everyone who attended the function (from kids to elderly, exactly how we wanted it). They were available at all times covering all my functions with smiling faces (which included waking up really early too) Overall the experience was good and upto the mark and that is what made me write the review. Marriage is a one time event and I believe nobody would want to compromise on quality. Hence, assigning them was the best decision that we made.

Love the way they captured every moment of our special day! In the beginning, I Was quite nervous of what the outcome would be, due to the fact that We were not photogenic or camera friendly. But the end result was surprisingly beautiful!! The wedding promo was like poetry <3 So thankful to shishir and his team!

Please don't waste your time and money. 1. We got a different person than the person whom we met with. Nothing about this was said. 2. We had requested two photographers, one traditional and one candid. On the day of the wedding, seemed like both of them had a competition on who will click more candid shots. 3. One of the person who showed up seemed to do us a favour by agreeing to shoot for us. Absolutely no professionalism. 4. Amongst the many rituals, less than a handful were captured. 5. The bride is present in almost all pics, groom is present in half the pics. Friends and relatives, only a lucky few made it. 6. The photographer forgot he had to capture the kaashi yatra. We proceeded with the ritual only after we requested for his presence and later after he arrived. 7. Post the Muhurtham, all friends and family requested to click pictures with us. We in turn requested the photographer to click our picture almost everytime. 8. Mr Shishir did call me after the Muhurtham to ask about the service. I had many things in my head that I did not give the above feedback my second mistake, first was to assume that these guys are professionals would not need hand holding on what needs to be clicked and what can be skipped. 10. We did not have a reception but a dinner party. My third mistake to mention this. We had to search for the photographers when we wanted to click pics with the guests. They were continuing their candid competition from the morning 11. There was a nice dinner spread organized, but all we could manage to get was pics of the exact moment when someone was putting food into their mouth. We could use those pics as evidence in court to prove that the guest was indeed eating a particular dish 12. I did tell the photographer to take pics of guests who were requesting for pics without the couple but with my folks and guests. Their sense of loyalty prevented them from clicking pics of people who would not be paying them. 13. This doesn't mean guests were not present in the pics. We got side angle shots, back shots, bokeh shots of the couple in side angle. Brilliant memories I must say. 14. I agree I don't have a great smile, but as a photographer I would atleast expect them to review the photo clicked and ask me to smile a little more since these are memories. They did look at the image after clicking just to check if it blurred out or not. Seeing some of the pics later looks as if I had committed a crime and my wedding was my alibi. I look so damn serious in it. All they had to do was to tell me that I need to smile a little more. Guess that was too much to ask for. 15. Usual protocol when ending something is to inform that they are packing up. I had still had some guests who showed up a little late. After searching for a while saw these guys packing up (on of them had left as well) . When I requested them to click a pic, the expression I got was as if I had asked him his ancestral property. 16. When I had mentioned these to Shishir, he was not apologetic even one bit, but instead said that I had requested for candid. And that's what was clicked. 17. I later got two links, one processed and one not processed. Absolutely not difference. 18. A had very well communicated that the dinner party place could be low on lighting, and asked if more lighting needs to be arranged. I was assured that need not be the case as that would be taken care of during the editing. At the dinner party, these guys made an elderly couple walk some distance before clicking their pic. Reason, lighting was not good!!!. I was travelling hence couldn't write this earlier. Another thing that puzzles is me how have these guys got a 4.9 rating when people have given them a one star rating as well. WedMeGood please check that. If you have managed to get a 5star rating work from these guys please share that information here so that it would help others. Honestly its like finding a needle in a haystack, to find one good picture to frame. I am taking time and making an effort to write this detailed review because I am very very disappointed and do not wish anyone else's happy moments be just in their head even after spending so much.

Very poor customer service with absolutely no professionalism and customer respect. The main photographer was present only during the main event of the wedding and the rest of the team lacked interest and missed an event during the wedding. We didn't even bring this up as an issue until they took about a year to get the Canvera album done, that too after being spoken very unprofessionally over phone and not being ready to do it the way we wanted it to be done. Finally the photographer refused to talk to us over phone and asked one of his team member to coordinate and it was a pain to get the album done. When asked for another album which we were ready to pay for (not like we asked them to do it for free), they out rightly (rudely) dismissed. I would definitely not recommend this photographer to anyone.

One word : Value for money, top notch at his work. No doubt one of the best quality photographer in Bangalore. Team is very cooperative and comfortable to work with. I knew about Shishir Gaurav photography after seeing their work on WedMeGood and Facebook. Decided to meet him and realised he is a very professional and dedicated guy. Me not being so camera friendly was scared of how the photos will turn out to be but him and his team made sure to capture the most precious moments of the wedding without us feeling uncomfortable. Unlike some other photographers who choose all the photos in the album and don’t let you choose saying they are the professionals and know what pictures to keep, Shishir gave us the entire data and allowed us to choose what we liked. They have done a great job with the video and is very understanding about even any small details that you may want to change. I recommend Shishir and his team for your big day.
