Shruti is an incredibly talented and professional artist. Both team members of Brown Kudi Artistry were communicative and clear from the start about their expectations, which was very helpful. Closer to the event, I was asked to share pictures of my face and hair as well as information about my skincare routine and examples of bridal looks. Shruti incorporated my favorite things about each example into the final looks for my pellikuthuru ceremony (picture below) and the wedding ceremony itself. The trial was also very nicely done and on the wedding day Shruti was able to make adjustments from the trial makeup based on what worked during the pellikuthuru ceremony, the time of day, the final pieces of the look — it was an all around great experience. The artist is clean, hygienic (she washes her hands thoroughly prior to touching your face), and cares about keeping your skin healthy. To boot, she was super patient and understanding when there were some scheduling confusions during the day of the pellikuthuru ceremony and they are both just very cool and nice people! I would absolutely recommend Brown Kudi Artistry, 12/10!!!

The makeup was good. Hair style was decent. But I would not recommend Brown Kudi Artistry for South Indian Weddings as the saree draping skills are very basic. Also the price they charge for their outstation services isn’t worth at all. The MUA is unprofessional and tried to leave midway during my outstation wedding and was not helpful at all after pointing out that I wanted the draping to be more neat. The duo had a lot of requirements to be met but the results they deliver are not worth booking them. Update - As a reply to the MUA claims, after the first saree was draped, it didn’t turn out as expected and then my sister had to step in to make the draping look neat. As stated it wasn’t stopped midway or anything. Also electricity problems were just for 15 mins and not for the entire time. These things cannot be planned as the venues are not owned by the brides. We did our best to fix any issues and provided everything the MUA has asked for. Also a dedicated car was provided to the MUA and so she called the driver to leave and packed her things during the wedding.

5 out 5 offcourse.. one of the best team and best MUA.. Shruti made me look so so so beautiful.. thanks team♥️

Brown Kudi Artistry team is excellent at what they do and highly professional. They are punctual and are extremely skilled! Bisma and Shruti are one of a kind, very generous, and highly qualified artists, who not only focus on their work but also portray a sense of warmth in what they do. All they need is the space to perform their magic and one can see a completely new version of themselves! I had booked them for my wedding and reception and I absolutely loved the hair styles and saree draping. Make up was a bit heavy on the reception day but when I asked for changes to be made, Shruti was more than accommodating and made sure I loved the look at the end of the day. I had a great experience working with Shruthi and Bisma. After talking to at-least 10 make up artists to help me for my big day, I happened to stumble upon Shruthi’s Christian Bridal make up picture and I instantly knew I had to go with Brown Kudi Artistry. I had them booked for my engagement and wedding, that were on consecutive days. Bisma was quite cooperative and she suggested the make up package in the range I was looking for, considering the tight schedule we had to follow. Shruthi is a no nonsense person and definitely means business. When I had gone for the trial, she gave me a few tips on how to get my face ready for the make up since it’s extra sensitive, and I’m not used to putting a lot of it, and her suggestions definitely helped! The team was extra cautious because of the pandemic and I was informed in prior to carry my own fake eye lashes and lipstick shade to make sure all of us stay safe. Shruthi sanitized all of the products in front of me, before applying them on me. The hairstyles too were discussed in advance and she was prepared like a pro. Almost all of my friends who saw the pictures and attended the wedding complimented the look and a few even called the Eye make up - Bomb! For the wedding, since it was at the church, I specifically wanted the makeup to not be over the top and something that still made me feel like the bride and boy did they deliver! I absolutely loved working with this two girl team and had a blast!!!

For starters, Bisma keeps stuff running smoothly, has a super calming personality and makes you feel instantly at ease that everything will be taken care of. Shruti is the make-up and hair artist and Bisma is the one who coordinates and manages the work. They were accomodating with the charges given the fact that I was going to have two weddings. Shruti did my make-up and hair for my Hyderabad North Indian wedding. She was in touch with me a few weeks before the wedding and gave me guidance on how to prepare my hair and skin with least efforts. On asking and getting to know the reason for their brand name, I was all the more happy that I chose them :). She was friendly throughout and understood all my requirements and gave me the best make-up, the way I wanted it and with her expert advice and experience. Having make-up done for a person like me who doesn't even wear kaajal, was worrisome. But Shruti did a wonderful job and gave me the light but beautiful make-up look. It’s been a very long due!!!! I cannot day enough about Bisma and Shruthi. I had the pleasure of getting a trial with Shruthi. She is such a sweet heart ❤️. They have given a trial session I was confident that they would do a great job just by the way they spoke to me with there treasure trove of knowledge and experience, it all resonates in there personality. On the day of the functions, the Shruti was very warm and welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. Shruti walked in and I knew instantly she had a vision to put together my entire look. I never intended to write this review but was forced to due to the attitude of this company . I was not satisfied with the makeup they did for my big day so I avoided writing the review. However they kept pushing me to write reviews on wmg. When I told them i was not satisfied with the service so I will not write a review but I can give them my feedback individually. Seems like they were not interested in it! They thanked and left. Wow. As soon as she arrived , she wanted some person to come to the reception lobby and carry her stuff upstairs . The hotel obviously has a lift , so me, the bride had to go down and carry her stuff . Although she carried all of that and came till the lobby. Coming to the makeup, the artist put the wrong shade of foundation , even after pointing out she was not ready to change it. I had a dress change between the event and while doing that she just said she does not have any bright lipsticks and only carried nudes . How can you do that if you are a Mua ? the hair was also not done properly. You can see side flicks not tucked properly. She also seemed very disinterested in helping. Nothing was done proactively and her transport was another issue. One of my guests has to go drop her because she was not able to arrange for her own transportation even though it was agreed upon earlier . The guest left the party and couldn’t come back in time cos it was at the other end of the city. The worst part is she made it look like it was our responsibility to drop her back. While we had agreed while booking that transportation will be taken care by themselves. I do not recommend this service if you are looking for an understanding Mua who will help you on your big day instead of becoming a cause of concern

I selected Brown Kudi after scavenging through Instagram for a makeup artist. After reading the great reviews on wedmegood, I contacted them and Bisma helped to arrange for a trial. After the trial, I knew I wanted Shruti to do my makeup for my sangeet and wedding! Bisma was sweet to wait for my down payment as it was an international bank transfer. On the day of the sangeet and wedding, my mother had also requested for makeup last minute which they accommodated. During the entire process, Shruti and Bisma spoke to me like their friends and made me laugh so much! Shruti asked me to lie down on the bed cause I was feeling tired while she continued with the makeup. I loved the two looks she did for me, they were exactly what I wanted and stayed on the whole night. I received so many compliments on looking like a Telugu movie actress, thank you both!
