I received saree for wedding. Which is good. But your tailor don’t know how to read measurement. He made blouse with his own measurement. Not able to wear blouse. He made deep neck in front and back and tight on both side. Armholes are not right either. Not happy with purchase. Waste of money.

I picked a beige/gold Shymal & Bhumika lehenga for my wedding day and I am so happy with the choice. I picked the lehenga from a photo, without actually trying it out, yet it turned out exactly like the photo or in fact better --- I had trusted the craftsmen at S&B and it was worth it. The detailing and finishing was beyond gorgeous and it made me look like the sort of bride I imagined myself to be. The service of the sales team was fantastic - payment was easily done online and the in-house team at the Mumbai store were fantastic. Picking your wedding outfits online when you're living overseas is one of the biggest challenges, and the first time I decided to go with S&B was for my engagement ceremony a year before my wedding, and the reason being that they were the most friendly and open to communicating and catering to client customizations. The first time I saw my outfit was a few days before my engagement, and trust me, I needed no changes after my first fitting - it was gorgeous and perfect! That is when I decided I was going to be a S&B bride for my future events as well, and they turned out to be the best. The designer I worked with (Sejal) was extremely good at what she was doing, and she's given me the bridal lehenga of my dreams! They're super flexible in always way before time in trials and delivery. Thei<3 r designs are gorgeous and their pictures on the website or IG don't really do justice.

We both both my wedding lehenga and my husband’s wedding sherwani (with matching shoes and knee) from Shyamal Bhumika and they were SUCH a pleasure to work with every step of the way. We live abroad and we’re only in India for a short amount of time but they made the process very easy for us - from always being responsive on WhatsApp, to taking new measurements shortly before the wedding, to rush couriering items that needed last minute alterations. On the end, every fit beautifully and looked gorgeous. I would recommend them over and over again!

I was a bride coordinating my wedding outfits and events from half way across the world. To have a wedding vendor who was so accessible and quick is responding along with such impeccable personalized attention from one of their Designers was impressive. I picked up an outfit from their previous season's collection. I had a hard time choosing the right shade of dye color and in sending them accurate measurements from far away. To make this process easier, they sent me a measuring tape and samples of 3 colors and textures via mail. Yay! The outfit was delivered to my India address on time. The packing was carefully delivered and the embroidered work was on point. The outfit to carry was heavy and the fitting was near perfect and highly impressive for an online order. Wedding reception outfit was a win! I only wish I had the opportunity to reuse this outfit, which I doubt.

There is no doubt on the kind of amazing outfits that Shyamal Bhumika has..and are still coming up with the new designs.. My only question is are these outfits only for NRIs, Bollywood etc (super high class) I do understand the superior quality of work but I feel this brand is not affordable for a middle class bride who wants her outfit in a decent price range and not so expensive that she could buy gold and save it for her future.. I have received a revert on whats app saying that we do not have the collection now or we would have customised as per the budget .. these has happened couple of time that the outfits go beyond a lakh and a half rupees..and thats when I finally gave up on the thought of buying my bridal outfit from Shyamal Bhumika.. Its high time that you need to realise that there are people out there that have started making your replicas in a very decent budget.. which is not so good for the brand.. just a suggestion .. help the brides!!
