I got my makeup done by Sifat for my Sagan/Engagement, Sangeet, and Wedding. She is an incredible makeup artist and individual. I absolutely loved her work at all three events. I am from the United States and was coming to India 2 weeks prior to my wedding. At the time of my wedding planning I was very worried as to who to pick for my hair and makeup. Everyone I looked at were either over priced or the makeup looked messy and overdone. Then I came across Sifat’s insta page. Each one of her brides looked absolutely beautiful. She was able to pull off each look with such grace. I decided I had to book her. I was a bit concerned because I didn’t have enough time to get a makeup trial done and pictures may be edited. I sent her texts and pictures of hair and makeup I liked and she was very good at replying and communicating with me. This is so far the worst experience I’ve ever had with anyone dressing my hair, Sifat had got a hairstylist at our house who not only burnt my hair but also my friends hair and made the worst hairstyles that didn’t even last till we reached the venue.. After calling Sifat and literally sitting in a salon on the New Years Eve to get a hair cut she paid no attention to how I felt about how badly my hair were burnt.. I made a professional hair stylist speak to her about the expensive treatments I’ll have to take at the salon, she kept saying that the hair stylist she got was not her team but a freelance but she was very responsible for whoever she got into our house for our booking, she was not only rude but was extremely insensitive about my little daughter which was completely unacceptable and wrong on so many levels. She didn’t act responsible at all about who she got into our house for hairstyling.. I’m so upset it’s been two months and I’m writing in grief so people think before booking her as she really spoilt my hair and they look awful... My hair are so badly burnt that they hardly cover my scalp, I wish I could put up a picture but it’s too embarrassing.. I wish I could sue her for personal damages and mental agony and mental harassment.. I’m in tears while writing this.. I’m putting up a picture of one side of my head but all my hair were burnt so I had to get a haircut.. the same is on the other side
