Hie Guys, I am writing here to give the real review about The Makeup Artist. Everyone has different experience but my experience was pathetic. First of all she is too expensive still I went for her as it was my big day and money was secondary. I also went because of the reviews and pics shown. like every bride for my Big day I had worked very hard from dress to jwellery to everything but nothing looks great untill you have a good makeup on you. On the day of my wedding the moment I entered her place there were already 8-10 brides which I wasn't aware of. the person doing my hair was real bad and unexperienced I had to change my hair 10 times finally after 10 brides my turn came and I was already tired and angry. She did my makeup in 10 minutes. You will get other makeup artist in Dehradun far more good and professional and understand your need If you want to spend 40k on your makeup then better from Delhi or other good Makeup Artist. As I am from North and My Husband from South so luckily I got an opportunity to become south Indian bride at their place and to relive the moment which I could not in Dehradun but not everyone is that lucky so girls choose wisely. Highly Disappointed never going back to her. The lehanga makeup is done by Sohni. While the south Indian makeup and look is done by pallavi from Gulbarga, Karnataka.

So basically when I reached at Sohni’s studio I was damn tired as I had travelled all the way from a different location to Dehradun at her studio, but this wonderful person Sohni & her team did a magic and trust me without any tablets my headache was gone because the entire process & ambience is so peaceful & calm (much needed for a bridal makeup). Now- Makeup Process- First of all, Sohni will ensure that you are relaxed & comfortable at her studio and she will start your makeup very softly and the best part is you can see yourself getting ready by her step by step, so at several steps she will pause & ask you if you are fine with how you’re looking. She will also take opinions from you on what kind of look you want & then she will suggest if that will suit you or not, otherwise you can just rely on her as she will do the best on you (She is super talented in this field I can vouch for it). For makeup she suggested a soft look for me & trust me she transformed me into a STUNNING Bride, I couldn’t believe that without changing much of my complexion or features she made me look damn Beautiful (I loved the way I looked, I had never looked that beautiful) & I believe it’s very important that your makeup artist should not transform you into a different person but he/she should enhance your existing features and bring out the best in you (Like Bobby Brown says- Makeup should not change the way you look). I loved her for making me the best version of myself, more & more blessings to her. Also, In my knowledge till date, Sohni took the least time to do the best makeup on me & she did it with all her undivided attention & with all her heart !! Hair Style- There is a team to do hairstyling on you & you can show them what kind of hairstyle you’d like to have & then of course there will be Sohni to suggest if that would suit you or she will suggest something else as per your face cut or other factors & accordingly you can proceed with hairstyling. So the team was also very talented that in not much time they made exactly like I showed in a picture (a messy bun with messy front puff). Also, don’t forget to take fresh flowers if you would like to add it to your bun, I had taken red roses which looked fantastic when team added to one side of the bun. Overall Treatment- Team at the studio is highly professional, kind & polite with you. In my case, I drank many glasses of water while getting ready to keep myself hydrated (there is a much needed loo within the studio which you can access while getting) & overall it was a very comfortable experience. Lehnga & Duppatta Setting- So after you’re ready with your makeup & hairstyle, the team will help you to wear that heavy Bridal Lehnga, heels & at the end will setup your duppattas. Final Touch- Finally, Sohni will again check if there is anything required to enhance your entire look or any adjustments (in my case she added a tint of pink to my lipstick after my peach duppatta was setup on my head) So basically, Sohni will ensure that you step out with a complete satisfaction & with not even a single thought of doubt :), God bless her! Studio Ambience- The vibe at the studio is amazing with a very refreshing view of a mountain right outside the studio windows. I guess there was a soft music at the studio & I personally liked the interiors too! Sohni did my hair and make-up for my Sangeet and Wedding events and damn, was it breathtaking! I got the hair styles and looks I wanted for both days and she was very accommodating with her schedule.
