The worst possible experience I could’ve had with a designer. My sisters and I bought 3 outfits from Tarun Tahiliani. After being promised new outfits that would be made to our sizes all three of us were given the store sample pieces which were dirty. The sample pieces being a size M trying to resize to XS. We realised they were store pieces as the garments had the size label still on when we had our first trial and after multiple confrontations with the store manager she revealed to us that we were given the sample pieces which we had tried in the store when we placed the order(which is apparently their store policy). They managed to correctly size the outfits for my sisters but I had 6 trials and still they couldn’t alter the piece to my size. That said I was promised a new piece which would be made to my size. Since the payments were made in advance the store manager and her team stopped answering calls and responding to text messages. I’ve bought multiple outfits from other high end designers but I’ve NEVER faced such issues. If it was possible I would’ve not even given one star rating. Very Unprofessional & Unethical

I ordered an item online on their website on sale. I ordered as per their size chart. However, item does not match the size chart and item was extremely big in size. On contacting their customer team, they said sale items will not be exchanged and you should not have ordered by seeing the size chart. I have all chats available with me. How else is one supposed to order if not by size chart. They try to cheat and avoid any talks. Best not to buy from them.

We are international customers and had terrible experiences with their store in India and online. Most recently I made a purchase online on their website and at checkout the total became much higher than what the actual cost of the item. After going back and forth they corrected it and I paid the corrected total. Later they sent me a message saying they cancelled my order due to “technical issues.” I’ve sent messages to figure out what happened and place a new order but now no one is responding. This is the service from one of India’s premium designers?! I love the TT designs but am now sick of how they treat their customers, looks like they don’t care for international customers business.

For my Anand Karaj ceremony I knew what I was looking for from the very beginning. It had to be a nude/pastel tone since it was a morning ceremony and being a huge fan of chikankari work, the formidable Designer Tarun Tahilaiani came to mind. Initially I wanted a chikan sharara, but as soon as my mother walked into the store she stumbled upon this classic chikankari anarkali on the rack. The minute I tried it on, Tarun, mum and I knew that it was the one! He made a few changes to the silhouette, changed the colour to a nude pink and since I wanted to wear the duppatta over my head he suggested making a tulle veil with scalloped lace border. It was exactly what I was looking for, an exquisite yet weightless, traditional ensemble. I wore my mother’s exceptionally pretty long earrings with rubies and diamonds.Source

This outfit was a dream to wear! We met Tarun at a trunk show in London and he helped me customise this outfit. His whole team were brilliant to work with. He took a blouse from one outfit, combined it with the skirt from another and changed the fit to suit my shape. He sketched it up quickly based on my preferences and being able to see how it turned out was something I’ll never forget! I made a quick trip to Delhi (from London) a week before the wedding just to try on this outfit and make any final adjustments. It was perfect for my reception - glamorous and feminine yet modern and chic at the same time! I absolutely loved it!

I purchased some of my wedding outfits from Tarun Tahiliani. It is a perfect store for shopping wedding outfits.I loved the collections and services.

I knew I didn?t want the quintessential red but I fell in love with the aqua blue the minute I laid eyes on it, I knew I wanted it. I was also certain I didn?t want anything too heavy but wanted something more layered, more playing with fabric than sequence. It?s always better to pick something that suits your personality rather than what?s norm because I think it amplifies your features and your personality. I scouted a bunch of designer stores before I decided to go with Tarun Tahiliani. His collection was absolutely stunning ? understated and unique, in terms of colours and quality of work. I went to the Mehrauli store which I recommend every bride-to-be check out because its spectacular. My lehenga cost Rs 2.5 lakh What I loved about it- was that the skirt was actually a beautiful fabric. There was minimal embroidery but the rich fabric really played with light and made it look wedding appropriate. The sleeves were very unique with rings around the net, and the blouse had a lovely neckline with a deep v too.

The mehendi outfit was the first I actually fell in love with.. The rust lehenga was really light so I could dance around and the embroidery actually looked like mehendi! People thought id custom made it but this was a ready price at tarun tahiliani
