I had the misfortune of collaborating with Body Care and Cure salon of Mahanagar Branch. They lured me with new year offer of providing a complimentary party makeup with my bridal makeup and what followed was a horrific experience of unacceptable services, staff behaviour and workmanship. I will go in details because they also convinced me to book pre-bridal services from them and after spending 60-70K at their salon, I feel like making the biggest mistake to choose them for the most special day of any girl’s life, the wedding day. I do not wish that any other girl makes the same mistake and hence I am writing my first hand experience Infrastructure - Their facial rooms are very small and congested. Only I know how I got my full body wax done there. Grooming services- My dissatisfaction started here. The beautician was not able to do proper waxing with a false reason that the growth is uneven. Then came the turn of pedicure & manicure where I observed that the guy did not clean my legs or hands even once with soap or shampoo. After dipping, he straightaway applied scrub, did not provide any massage with scrub either and removed it to put the pack. I was bewildered at the process and when I complained, the salon manager told this is the process being followed. They also charged the brazilian wax seperately and did not include in pre-bridal package. Bridal makeup - Till date I do not know the type of makeup they used. Whatever they did, longevity, skin type and quality of products was the least of their concerns. Tanya - the celebrity artist was assigned for my bridal look. The artist’s attitude was surely at par of a celebrity but I am not very sure of the skills though. 1. Face Contouring - I am a chubby girl whose makeup should have focussed on reducing the flaws but no such efforts were made. 2. Makeup type - I have oily skin. The longevity of my makeup was such that by the time I reached venue, my lipstick and liner were smudged. My baby hairs are visible in all my pictures taken during bridal photoshoot which happened immediately after I reached venue. I do not even want to discuss how I was looking by the time pheras were to happen. I can share all my pictures whoever wants to verify the sanctity of my review. Atleast let me know the makeup type if you guys know - whether it was kryolan, mac or anything else. It was surely not HD airbrush. 3. Professionalism - To avoid all these issues, which eventually I had to face, I went to them before to discuss my look and hairstyle. All they told me that looking at my attire and jewellery, they will decide the look that day and assured me the best of services. If this is their best, I am not sure what could be the worst. 4. Eyelashes - Fake eyelashes are always included in makeup booking. They charged myself, my sister and my mother seperately. 5. Look - Not a single feature of my makeup was worth appreciating. The eye makeup was unclear without any definition, the lips were all leaking because of bad quality products and no efforts were made on hairstyle to make my face less chubby. Attitude - The attitude of all the makeup artist in that small congested makeup room heated up the atmosphere all the more. Since these people suck 100% payment beforehand, they leave no room for entertaining client’s wishes. The client feels cheated, insulted and devoid of minimum client respect because of the harsh and unprofessional attitude of these artists. You can’t get up from the chair because you have to get ready for your own wedding but these ‘celebrity artist’ will ensure that they make you count every second of your presence there and make you realize what big a fool you are. Your respect means nothing because you have already made 100% payment and you are compelled to sit through as they keep insulting and taunting you on your wedding day. The Body Care and Cure is the worst plce to visit and as a bride, do not make the mistake of choosing them for your big day. I along with my mother and sister were a laughing stock in front of all my relatives on my big day because of the services provided by them and I sincerely hope no one has to face this.

Tanya is my best or I can say more than best make-up artist because she is best among all make-up artist present in Lucknow and out of Town also. The way she does the make up that suits on everyone very beautifully. As a client I always suggest her move from Lucknow and show your work to entire world but she does n't want to leave us.😘😘😘😘😘😘❤️❤️

No Messages, No calls, No Reply. This is the worst thing a person can do. We have a balance on total 3 lakhs since 2018. We had given them goods in 2018 and expected payments in 2018. We supportted them in their bad times. We even waited for lockdown. And now when everything is alright and we want our money back, they are not even ready to pick up our calls or reply to our message. VERY BAD. CHEATERS

Since there is no option to continue conversation on this site I am writing a different review to bring to light in entire details about the incident and your actions after: I asked clearly whether you have slots and you mentioned that you do, it is not a favor that other folks book 4 months before and I booked just 2, if you were so overbooked you could have refused in stead of squeezing me in in overcrowded places during covid times. Also your staff mentioned that "there is no covid anymore" so we cannot refund the amount. "There is no covid anymore" was also obvious from the precautions you seemed to be taking at the facility when my father went to talk. He was very rudely dealt with and that is what caused me to complain, you are lucky we didn't escalate to FIR because that attitude to a senior citizen was harrowing, not to mention your ignorance and greed and lack of consideration. When mentioned a thousand times that we don't reside in Lucknow except for my mother who is not equipped to climb stairs or come to the location to avail of your services, you repeat that we can only let you take services and no cash refund is not professionalism. Your apathy appalls me beyond imagination. The reviews that come in after mine seem fabricated in order to top over my honest feedback.

This place has given me a pathetic experience which must be brought to light so that others are not duped like me. I had made a booking here for bridal makeup at there jacked up prices for my wedding in November. I made it almost a month before. However as my wedding date drew near I was not able to attend due to a Covid case in my family, even with this I informed them 4 days prior to the event but they categorically refused to consider for refund. Everyone I spoke with mentioned this is not in their hands and I need to talk to someone higher up, without at all giving me the details on the responsible person for this. I tried my best to not escalate the matter but their rude, unprofessional and inconsiderate attitude compelled me to lodge a formal complain, following which when I reach out to them they come back with the response that you have filed a complaint so you will have to bear the consequences. I have never had such an ugly experience with a business ever. I strongly suggest no one to avail their services.

They messed up with my big day. They promised to get done my makeup by Ajit (I hope I am taking the right name) whose work I had seen before and based on that decided to go ahead with him. My appointment was at 4 PM even though I had told them that I have to get ready by 8 PM. I got late and reached the parlour by 5 PM. Panic attack#1 - Got to know that the person for celebrity make-up I had asked for went for some other client at some other location. He was not available because I was late instead he was not available for the whole day. Seriously Dude???? I tried to calm myself down thinking its fine to get my makeup done by some other celebrity MUA. The other guy named Bobby (Super arrogant) was assigned as my MUA. From 5pm - 7pm I was just roaming around in the parlour as they were not starting my make-up. This guy Bobby was busy with some other client. They started my makeup at 7:15 and all in a hurry and got done with it by 8:30 PM. They made me look a shade darker and I didnt even had time to get it changed. So yea... Now I dont even feel like looking at my photographs of my big day.

These guys are the best team of makeup artists in Lucknow, without doubt. I hired them for a total of 6 makeups for my events - engagement, mehendi, sangeet, Christian wedding, Hindu wedding and reception. Each look created by their team (MD for engagement and wedding looks, Sapna for mehendi and sangeet) was unique and apt for the events. My heart goes out to MD, who did the best work ever for my Christian and Hindu wedding, and the engagement. My bridal was also done by him. He truly knows how to create magic with your attire and jewellery. We also got 2 makeups for the groom (engagement and reception). We loved the work done in the engagement. My suggestion to future brides in Lucknow - book your makeups with them for sure, prefer the Alambagh branch for a flawless experience. I faced issues with timing on my final makeup which happened in the Mahanagar branch.

My make up was done by Shreya. If you want nude makeup just go for Shreya. I felt quite natural and surprisingly make up was quite quick. Nude makeup is in fashion but not everyone can do it well. If not done well it's a disaster. Quite impressed by her work. Hair was done by Pooja I guess. Hair is most important part of bridal makeup. I asked her to give me a natural hairdo and chuck crimpimg. She created a natural hair puff without any hair puffing bun or crimping, just by back combing.. and the way she put petals all over the bun, it was incredible. When you want bridal makeup in Lucknow everyone suggests Bhavya Kapur. I too was going for her but due to some bad experiences with her team while I first contacted, i made my mind to look for some other artist. TBCC will get your makeup done charging less and artist are equally good as BK, actually way more civilized and sweet than BK. Go for TBCC (Shreya especially)
