This may be slightly (very) belated but we contracted The Bombay Brigade for our wedding in December 2021. I should have been writing this review a lot earlier, considering how impressed and grateful we were to Khalid and his team at TBB for capturing our wedding through their lenses. Would like to briefly touch upon some of the things we were impressed with the most - First and most important, quality of work. I think TBB did an absolutely amazing job capturing the vibe of our entire wedding. When we look back at the videos, the editing work clearly stands out as they were able to encapsulate the mood of each individual event perfectly. The photos as well were great as they covered all the important people we asked, and managed to capture some beautiful candid photos of us as well as other guests when they were in their element. Secondly, the ease of working with the team was very important to us. In all the hustle and bustle of the wedding, they didn't for one second make us stress about anything. They managed to break up into groups and worked with parents, siblings, friends etc. and were able to gather interesting soundbites from everyone. Even in the conversations early on, Khalid was very easy to get along with. We had a few peculiar demands (who doesn't) and he was very flexible and accommodating and eventually delivered exactly what we wanted as a final product that too before the promised dates. Lastly, in a highly saturated market, TBB is the affordable quality that you would look for. For the effort they put in and for the quality they provided, you would expect them to charge premium rates, but being the amazing team that they are, they do not try and fleece the couple for every penny possible. Very reasonable, very hardworking, and incredibly nice team to work with. While I don't have anything negative to say, the only potential feedback I would give is, retrospectively speaking, I'd have liked a few more drone shots in the final edits that were made, but that's a personal choice. Personally, would highly recommend The Bombay Brigade to anyone looking for wedding photographersers. I wish them all the best!

Planning a wedding meant taking hundreds of decisions along the way. The one decision that Pranay and I are incredibly happy about is choosing The Bombay Brigade for covering our wedding. The photos, teasers, trailer and the wedding film - everything was stunningly captured. The TBB team met with us before the wedding to understand the events, timeline and plan the interviews and photoshoots accordingly. My partner and I are rather awkward with photos. We met the whole team for the first time for our pre wedding shoot. We were amazed at how comfortable the whole process was. They let us just be ourselves and captured our best moments. Khalid and team were very extremely professional, but also fun to work with. Our wedding was packed with events which made it challenging to accomodate all the portraits and interviews. But they made the best of it and went out of their way to capture all the portraits and interviews of our friends and family. Our family was very impressed with their work ethic. We could really see the passion in their process as they covered the wedding. We couldn't wait to see the output. Turns out we only had to wait a few weeks for the teasers and trailer. The first time we saw the teasers, we were just stunned! It was perfection itself! Our trailer was equally beautiful. They managed to capture the magic of it all ♥️ With the wedding film itself, we wanted certain changes. Khalid was again very patient with us and ensured that all the changes were done to our satisfaction. Shortlisting pictures of the wedding album has been extremely challenging because all the pictures are so so beautiful! We are really getting to savour and relive our wedding in the hundreds of little moments they have managed to capture. The craftsmanship of the team really shines through in the framing and processing of every image. TBB really delivers on its promise of capturing your story undiluted. The Bombay Brigade are absolutely phenomenal - the photos from our wedding are exactly what we asked for. They capture so much emotion and movement and when I go through them, I'm transported not only straight back to the event but to that very moment, song, laugh. All comms with the team were done over WhatsApp and email and despite not meeting them till the hours before the first wedding event, at no point did we have any doubts. I'd be lying if I say I don't watch my wedding video almost everyday.Its'that GOOOOOOOD and it's an incredible labour of love.Bombay brigade captured the range of emotions we all were feeling for those two days.And the best part is we don't even remember "posing" for it. We were planning our wedding for the 4th time, thanks to Covid! I stumbled upon Bombay Brigade’s profile on Instagram .. there was an instant connect with their quirky, candid and fresh way of capturing beautiful wedding moments. I scheduled a call with them and spoke to Mahesh. Honestly, I had a list of other vendors I wanted to explore but after talking to Mahesh over the phone, my fiancé and I both knew that we wanted to lock Bombay brigade without even talking to other vendors because he put all our concerns to rest and there was a warm friendship from the get-go, where we knew we would be well taken care of. From the planning prior to when the team arrived (led by Praveen & special shout-out to Sajal).. they were thorough professionals, made sure they seamlessly worked and captured moments without really interrupting the flow of events. I can get a bit camera conscious but because the team was so approachable, kind and friendly, we enjoyed the traditional posing pictures too. We received our deliverables before time and BOYYYY.. they were everything we could have dreamed of and more. We had THE BEST experience with the Bombay Brigade team. Right from the pre wedding shoot to delivery of all photos and videos, everything was super smooth and of the highest quality. This is one team, that believes in customer delight, not just satisfaction. Khalid is very friendly, humble and all our interactions with him assured us that this is one aspect of our wedding we need not worry about. Apart from being fun, of course! :D Being a covid time wedding, there were many uncertainties during our wedding. Just 2 days before our wedding, Khalid informed us that he won't be able to travel due to some quarantine related restrictions. The Bombay Brigade was the first team I got in touch with. And it was my very first chat with Mahesh that struck a chord strong enough to make me look no further. While a brief COVID related hiccup put things on hold for a bit, I couldn't be more sure that I was willing to wait it out to have them on board, and I am glad I did! The best decision I made for my sister's wedding! Mahesh and Khalid spent a lot of time with my sister, Jijaji, and myself in understanding our vision and helped us materialize it. They had some really good inputs that we would have never thought of. Their work during the wedding was unparalleled, never in the way of guests. Fantastic photography and team, that goes without saying. I’m probably watched our wedding video 50 times already. The Bombay Brigade team came on board quickly for our wedding that was planned in less than 6 weeks, and really embraced it. They are incredibly responsive and have gone above & beyond, even after the wedding. But perhaps most importantly, was the role they played beyond photography. There were moments during the wedding where my partner and I felt stressed or overwhelmed - Khalid instantly recognised this, stepped in and knew exactly what to say to get us to relax. We didn't know any friends or family who had worked with the Bombay Brigade but we went ahead and booked them based on two factors - our first conversation with Mahesh revealed to us that this was not just a job from them, but more about passion and second, excellent reviews on WedMeGood. They were so flexible and accommodating about travelling abroad during the pandemic and were open to any options that were convenient for US, without second thought about themselves. These are the kind of vendors you want to make part of your wedding, who will ease ur burden. Their work during the wedding was unparalleled, never in the way of guests, or too in the face. We are not the most photo-savvy people however, the entire team made us feel comfortable and by the end we felt like they were our friends. Infact, multiple times, they helped out the make up artists too by providing their lights. Post wedding delivery of photos and videos was not on time, but before time!! We never had to chase them and minimal editings required. Khalid took time to hear out my changes for the trailer even though they were very silly and small changes sometimes. Choosing Bombay Brigade as our wedding photographer was one of our best decisions! These guys are awesome! We got married in March just a week before the Corona virus wave came in. Phew! Both of us live in the US and planned the wedding with the help of our family & friends over numerous phone and video calls. And not to forget the constant scrolling on Instagram and other wedding apps. We came across the Instagram page of The Bombay Brigade whole scrolling and loved their work. Mahesh was approachable and very responsive on text. Given the time difference, we really appreciated that. Aadil and Ali were there for our pre wedding photo shoot. They did a great job. Especially for the two of us who are super camera shy. At our wedding, we had two events on the same day and hardly got time to take any pictures. But The Bombay Brigade team made sure they captured all our moments beautifully. The entire team - Mahesh, Ronit, Aadil, Ali, Kamal, Sajal and Sunil were always around and ensured that no shot was missed. Your search for THE Wedding Photographer ends here! I got married in February this year and had contacted Khalid in June 2019. I remember searching for photographers across India on WedMeGood and contacted a lot of them. Photography wise, I think most of the photographers were good but what made us select The Bombay Brigade, apart from their amazing photography of course, was their cinematography. Their wedding teasers and films is something that really distinguishes them from other photographers. Also, the team doesn't compromise on quality at all! When other photographers gave us options to adjust their team size just to be 'budget friendly', Khalid increased the team size on the very same budget when we shared our functions and events with him. This really worked for us since we had a few separate functions. Be it pre-wedding, during wedding or post wedding, there was never a time when we had to go after them for anything. First of all to everyone reading this review….. just stop reading and contact these guys!! They are damn busy and you WILL DEFINITELY regret not hiring them for your wedding !!!!! Planning a wedding requires a lot of things to concentrate on… this is one less thing to fret over… coz once you get these guys onboard you won’t have to worry about capturing and framing the memories you make at the most important event of your life. I have no words to describe Mahesh and his team. Mahesh is one of the coolest guys I’ve met and it’s no wonder that we have become good friends apart from having a business customer relationship. These guys are the best photographers a couple could ask for. They are damn punctual, professional and friendly all at the same time. They really help out a lot in every decision related to the wedding you require an opinion about. But they also do make sure to not get in the way of any function while clicking the pics. However they still manage to capture each and every moment without fail. They have no qualms or issues and are always happy to work whenever and wherever the occasion demands. Mahesh ensures no photo clicking opportunity is missed. They are so welcoming to clicking pics of all guests but they also do make sure that the close and immediate family is not missed. Long before we decided to get married, I knew that I wanted Bombay Brigade as my wedding photographers. I have always loved their videos and photos. They know how to capture the smallest details of the weddings. I admired the professionalism with which the team captured our wedding. Irrespective of the hours, we always had a photographer around. All of them were extremely polite and helpful. The best part of their photography was that they captured the moments without interfering with the ceremonies. I had heard a lot of bad experiences of my friends at their weddings where their photographers would constantly nag them to look at the camera for pictures. The Bombay Brigade team however, did an excellent job at capturing the candid moments, without disturbing the festivities. To start with, I must say that the team "The Bombay Brigade" is very professional, accommodating and personal, all at the same time. From the time that we got in touch with them, there was not even a single instance that we had second thoughts about them. Even though, I am not residing in India and it was difficult to communicate via calls, we were regularly communicating through emails and it did not even feel for an instance that there is any delay. The requirements from both sides were made clear since the beginning and the whole team exceeded our expectations. There were a few last minute changes required and the guys made sure that it was well taken care of. The end result --> JUST AMAZING! They were very well organised with their plan, non intrusive and captured truly candid moments and captured such wonderful moments in the form of photographs and films that we'll be cherishing for a lifetime! Also I've heard many nightmare stories of working with photographers where the photos or videos are super delayed and come well after 4-6 months after the enthusiasm of the wedding has died down. The Bombay Brigade managed to give us photos and the trailer in under a month almost 60 days ahead of schedule — which I think is bloody amazing! If you're looking for a solid team that you can rely on for your wedding shoot, don't think just hire them!

I am writing this after more than a year of my wedding. To start with, if you really love candid pictures - Hire them. If you are looking for truely professional team - Hire them. If you really want to spend your money on one worth thing on your wedding - Hire them. Mahesh and team worked so professionally during all the events. We didn't feel someone was around us clicking pictures and recording videos. But when I saw the end results, I was awestruck. They captured all the beautiful moments, even without us discussing it in detail prior to the wedding. I gave them no instructions about anything and still they did their job so diligently. Then why I am writing all this after a year? Because I wanted some modifications with the teaser and I told Mahesh I'll be sharing instructions . But due to some busy schedule I couldn't. However, as soon as I contacted Mahesh back he responded immidiately and made all the changes as soon as he could. I am so happy the way he deals with his clients. What an amazing day with an amazing photographers. My husband and I were going to celebrate our wedding in Goa and we wanted to document the day with photos that we could look back upon. Prior to our wedding, we researched and looked up professional photographers whose work would be able to capture what we had in mind. After looking through the galleries of different photographers online, Mahesh’s work stood out and we were really impressed with his portfolio. We contacted him, hoping that he would be available on our day and luckily for us, he was. My hubby& I are different personalities, I likes getting clicked and looks good in most of them & He is the stark opposite where He hate his pictures being taken altogether. I was worried that He will end up being the only groom who may not look great in his pictures. I was wrong, they captured such beautiful moments of us a couple, with our families & friends. Celebrating, drunk, sober, dancing, laughing what have you, they were there for all of those. We ended up with beautiful couple candid pics. Everything about our photos scream energy and happiness. Every photo is so different to the last, different angle, different light, different background. We couldn’t have asked for a more helpful photographers from start to finish. He was also beyond accommodating, and went above and beyond what would be expected of a photographer and treated you like a friend. To our delight, a few short days after our wedding Mahesh sent us the teaser and film were ready for review in their entirely. The end result was breathtaking and second to none. Mahesh and the team has left us with such a detailed storybook of our wedding day. We really cannot recommend The Bombay Brigade’s enough to anyone who is looking to have their memorable occasions captured beautifully and candidly in photographs. The Bombay brigade surpassed our expectations not just with their deliverables but also their dedication to the work. The pictures and especially the videos (both trailer and cinematic) were beautifully captured and it’s the closest we can come to reliving those 2 magical days making it worth every penny and more. The team was always prepared and reached the venue well before time. We did not have to worry about coordinating with them as they were completely self sufficient. They were extremely non intrusive during the ceremonies and it shows in our pictures. Both Tanay and I are usually very uncomfortable getting pictures taken but I was so pleasantly surprised to see the beautiful shots they were able to capture of us looking far from awkward. More than once I saw the team pull out their equipment while they were wrapping up or eating just because they saw someone posing casually for pictures on their phones. While this may be taken for granted as part of their work I believe it’s what makes the difference between those who are passionate and those earning a living. They were also professional with deliveries - giving us realistic estimates and taking our feedback. There wasn’t much need for changes but I asked for some change in the video which was updated before the day ended! Mahesh, Khalid and team are such a pleasure to interact with. They have a very honest and humble approach to their work and I couldn’t be happier with my decision.

After searching for dozens of wedding photographers for months, we came across The Bombay Brigade and instantly decided to go with them. And trust me it was one of the BEST decisions. While the pictures were fine, their video shooting and editing skills are less than amateur. Would strongly suggest not giving them videography if you want your special moments to be documented well. Our "cinematic film" and most of the feedback points are not even incorporated. For "professionals" the quality is just plain unacceptable. Lazy shooting and thoughtless editing. In some parts there is no link between what the background dialogue or music and the visuals. Randomly cut. Khalid - our photographer did a good job. However, the video was a colossal disappointment. Even after 3 rounds of detailed feedback. Not worth it.

Mahesh and Aadil were FANTASTIC and an absolute pleasure to work with. They captured our most special moments and the pictures and videos were absolutely stunning. Aaggrim and I are so grateful to the Bombay Brigade team for creating these beautiful memories for us! The best thing about Mahesh and his team is that they work very closely with you on the edits of the photos and videos and are EXTREMELY accommodating with changes, feedback and timelines. Attention to detail and great aesthetic comes through in their work! These guys are great and will do their very best to capture the most intricate details and beautiful moments of your big day!!

There is really not much that we can say about this stellar group of photographers that hasn't been said in the other reviews. From the first conversation with Khalid till this day, it has been a thoroughly smooth experience. They (Khalid, Adil, and team) captured exactly what our wedding was all about without making us ever feel awkward, obstructed, or instructed. We wanted our wedding to be just pure simple fun and lots of love - and the pics that Bombay Brigade delivered to us (pretty much always on time too!) captured all of that perfectly. Our family waving their hands in the air, little kiddos dancing, the both of us sharing a private funny moment in the midst of the madness - it was such tiny, inconspicuous moments that they caught beautifully on film that would have otherwise gotten lost forever - and we are grateful for that! The deliverables included pictures, a cinematic short video, and a long video chronicling the events. The photos were AMAZING. : They made us laugh, cry, and relive those two fun days! The best bit - was that Ren, who was very resistant to the idea of having a wedding photographer because she gets super conscious and weirded out when a camera is pointed at her, said that she loved how non-obtrusive and invisible, yet supportive, the guys were. The short video was excellent - welling us (and any friend or family of ours that watched it) up each time we watch and re-watch it. The longer video was a great record of the events too. We thought that it could do with some music edits when we got it, and Khalid was happy to accommodate that request. Utimately, we realized that getting the music right, according to our needs, for every moment throughout a 40-min video is not an easy task, and requires far too much telepathy, which would be hard to get even despite the great equation we built over the two days. All in all - these guys were such lovely humans who put us completely at ease during our big day and thankfully, managed to capture our insider jokes! We hope they had a blast too - even though they were working while we partied!

Mahesh had become a good friend after the shoot. He is not into capturing expressions and poses but more into capturing emotions which makes him stand out. It's always our request over any of his hurdles,in our outdoor shoot it was raining off and on which was good for us but not at all for a photographer. He even risked his expensive equipment to get the right shots. The challenge he took up worked out well and the pictures look so cinematic and WoW. Best part is that Mahesh wouldn't take too much time in giving you the pictures which I took to post this review :P. Thanks Mahesh for making us look so fabulous in each pic that you clicked.

I was extremely happy that Bombay Brigade covered our wedding as they are amongst the best in the business. The team is highly talented and skilled. The photos and videos came out so well that we still look at them and relove those moments.

I knew I was ready to splurge on my photographers because it's how the wedding album turns out that truly matters in the end! I was so happy and satisfied with their service, they were worth every penny!

We got married in February this year and had been searching for a photographer for almost 9 months prior to the wedding. I had spoken to and met countless photographers but none seemed right. And then I stumbled upon - The Bombay Brigade! I was already bowled over by their profile on Wedmegood but just meeting Mahesh once was enough to seal the deal. A week before the wedding I ended up fracturing my ankle and being a bride your anxiety levels are already sky high but being a bride with a plastered leg was like the worst thing ever. But Mahesh and his team were so amazing! They were like a bunch of friends covering our wedding and taking care of me at the same time. They were so punctual, accommodating, patient and helpful, silently doing their job without interfering with the ongoing ceremonies or making their presence felt. They were always the first ones to reach the venue and last ones to leave (I have seen so many wedding teams that are so rigid about timings that they don’t even care about missing important shots in case it gets late which is usually the case with Indian weddings). They made sure that I was always happy, comfortable and that I don’t strain my ankle during the ceremonies. They never made us pose for pictures or made me get up (since I couldn’t stand at all) but despite all of this the pictures came out MAGICAL!! It is their sheer talent and passion that they made even a bride on a wheelchair look so great in the pictures  All my friends are married and I have seen many wedding teams but no body as proactive as these guys. The emotions they’ve managed to capture through their lens, it’s like I can relive my entire wedding every time I look at the pictures and the cinematic movie (love the songs they’ve put in the movie, not like your generic wedding movies). My friends and family, everybody was so impressed that they’ve become our go to photographers for all the weddings in the family henceforth. Mahesh, Aadil, Khalid, it was so great working with you all – no attitude, no glitch. You guys are class apart and truly made our wedding the most beautiful experience for us. A wedding is the biggest event we ever plan and after that hustle all we are left with are memories in the form of pictures for the rest of our lives. Hence finding a ‘PERFECT’ photographer is the biggest and most important task. We spent a lot of time trying to find something that suited our plan and I am so glad we came across The Bombay Brigade and team. They were absolutely fantastic. They were extremely punctual (which is so important considering Mumbai traffic and the fact that we never have enough time on our wedding day). They were with us for all of our wedding ceremonies and every day they went that extra mile of coming in early and staying back after all the guests had left just to give us the perfect shots! They captured every emotion of an Indian wedding with so much grace that we even love the pictures where we are crying. They were like having a gang of friends around and every time I looked around and smiled, they were there to capture it just perfectly! They are extremely understanding of the chaotic situations that come along the wedding day to an extent that we had a wrong date booked with them for my mehendi but when I called them, they turned up in less than 45 mins! The Bombay Brigade genuinely stands true to their name, they are so enthusiastic and passionate about their work, just like the city! I wouldn’t have had my pictures any other way!

So a wedding is always a scary thing. Everybody knows that. There are so many things happening, and most of them wrong. To top that, we were going to hold a Catholic+Hindu wedding, which made us nervous already. And one of the scariest things in a wedding is the photographer. "Madam thoda left mein khade raho." "Sir please put your hand on madam." You know, the regular 'candid' moments. Then you never know how the photos will turn out, and by the time they do it's too late to do anything about it. Unless you want to marry again. After choosing to wed each other, selecting the Bombay Brigade to cover the wedding was the second really, really good decision. The moment we met Mahesh, the top dog, we knew it wasn't going to be a routine client-vendor dynamic. Mahesh was friendly, genuine, and passionate about his work, and he wanted to understand the ins and outs of the wedding clearly so that everybody is on the same page. Before the wedding, he did his homework and understood the venues well. Thankfully, the whole team was like that. During the wedding, every interaction with the team felt like a bunch of good friends helping out. They were patient, accommodating, and they did not make their presence a burden. I've seen many, many weddings where the photographers run the show, to the extent that a lot of the audience gets to see them more than the bride and groom themselves. These guys were not like that at all. Like a fly on the wall equipped with a really good camera and good photography sense, the Bombay Brigade covered our wedding smoothly and without interruption. Their candid and traditional photos came out really well(although my first love was the candid photos of course), and the trailer video and the final film was also top-notch with their attention to detail. Even the music was not some generic wedding song - Mahesh and team try to understand what your preferences are and do their best to give you that. And in our case, they thoroughly succeeded. I also have to add that there were moments after the wedding when it was about selecting the photos or checking the wedding film, that me and my wife were not able to get back to him quickly. In fact, we were tardy about it. Thankfully, Mahesh has been very patient and understanding about all of that and did not at any point get turned off. (Although, I highly recommend that you don't do that yourself. Respect his and his team's time too :p ) I highly, highly recommend them. If not for yourself, then for your friends and family. In a wedding, you need as many good people around you as you can. These guys are exactly that.

I was really struggling to find the "right" photographer to capture our wedding but just one phone call with Mahesh and I knew he will be the right choice! He was able to clear all my confusions around candid/traditional photography and traditional/cinematographic videos and helped me decide the right mix of photographers/cinematographers for us to cover a 3-day wedding. We were very impressed with the whole team's creativity, integrity, and patience during the course of the 3 days and equally impressed with the pictures and the videos later too. They were a delight to work with and were very accommodative. We never ever had to worry about posing for a photo or pausing a ritual - they were ever ready to take those stunning candid shots without us even realizing it! (As a camera conscious person and a bride, I can tell you that is such a skill to have!) The pictures turned out to be beautiful and we were absolutely awe-struck with the candid shots and the cinematic videos and loved sharing it with our family and friends. I wish the whole team tremendous amounts of success in the future - these hard working bunch of creative chaps absolutely deserve it!
