Hue Story was recommended to us by our photographer for our weddings in Vizag and Kovalam. We hired Hue Story early on with many months of time to plan and it was smooth sailing from day one. We had one traditional Telugu wedding event as well as a fully Western/European style wedding incl. party. We had regular calls with Suman and her team throughout the preparations and they outlined a clear procedure and schedule to follow. After we told them what is our vision, theme and what type of features, designs, colours and outfits we would like, the Hue Story team arranged mood boards and collages to share with us. The whole time, we felt that we had nothing to worry about and that Suman and her team understood exactly what we were looking for. Of course, at big events like a wedding many things could go wrong or not as planned (weather, third party vendors, venue hickups, etc.), but the team always worked out contingency plans and "Plan B's" for all occasions. All people they recommended, for cake, flowers, DJ, etc. were top notch and worth every Penny. We could thoroughly enjoy both of our wedding events without any worry, as Suman and her team always had our backs. We would recommend them anytime to anyone who is looking for a great wedding in India.

I found The Hue Story here on WedMeGood and connected with them later via Instagram. I got talking to Roshni almost right after that. We sought decor and planning services from them. We were particularly impressed with their minimalistic, clean and elegant take on decor. The wedding was to take place in a charming French building by the promenade in Pondicherry, with a capacity of just about 200 people. Since both the families and the Hue Story were based out of different cities/countries, most of the decor was planned over a range of virtual meetings with The Hue Story team. The Hue Story ran us through the decor and event flow in detail. I must add that the Hue Story Team was very resourceful and innovative in planning the decor for our wedding, considering they had to plan the decor for a relatively confined event space. We also engaged their services for guest management and for arranging the welcome hampers for the guests. Fast forward to the wedding day, I was truly awe struck by what I saw. The decor simply exceeded all of our expectations. Magical-and yet meticulously, painstakingly executed. We are talking strings of warm hanging lights, tropical blooms and hints of traditional brassware against the white washing walls of the sea side heritage building. The team also perfectly coordinated the event flow. My family felt at ease and could enjoy the event, with the Hue Story team taking care of all the logistics. I came across THS on WedMeGood and on Instagram and instantly felt drawn to the aesthetics and elegance of the pictures. I spoke to a few wedding planners and decor specialists and Roshni was the only one who actually understood what I had in mind. It was not easy to plan a wedding in Kerala sitting in the UK and I have to say, I worried least about the decor and planning elements. Roshni and her team does a fab job, her aesthetics and vision is strong and visually soothing. the design elements and overall feel THS executed during the two days - Mehendi-Sangeet & the Wedding - matched perfectly to the intimate backwater setting. She is extremely professional which is great and tells you as is, which helps when you feel a bit lost in all the mayhem of the wedding. You can trust them to do a great job and do something different and in the process feel great about meeting someone so wonderful and cheery. Definitely top of the list for my wedding. Wedding preparations are going to be no fun. It is stressful and tiring, especially if you are working and away from home. But mine was super fun only because I made the best decision about my wedding planner. My sister follows hue story on Instagram, and she was pretty impressed by the decor photos. That is when I contacted Roshni, almost nine months before my wedding. I talked about how I want my wedding to be like. She patiently heard, gave her suggestions, guided me, frankly told me what to expect and what not to. What enthralled me is how Roshni handled my gullible expectations. Mine was a two-state wedding, and there was a lot of different opinions and confusions that forced me to change my plans now and then. But Roshni never gave up on me. She was very adaptive and critical to my changing ideas and suggestions. I remember, I changed my Sangeeth lehenga three times, and each time she modified her decor plans to complement my lehenga color. I finalized my lehenga two days before the Sangeeth, and I cannot imagine how one can be so patient to redesign the entire decor in the last minute. Roshni personally stayed up late night with the workers to make sure everything was perfect. She was there throughout the wedding for all the three days and took care of everything like how a sister or best friend does. It has been almost six months now since I got married. Still, when I call my friends or relatives, there will be a discussion of how beautiful my wedding was. This review might seem to be a bit personal. That is because hue story became a family and Roshni became that kind of friend to whom one can call at all odd times to discuss your worries. Very impressed!!! We had our Punjabi/Mallu wedding in Kovalam, Kerala. I had a vision about how my wedding should be and the Hue Story team made it come true. I had a pretty clear idea of what I wanted and they were open to our ideas. They also suggested some interesting new ideas which we were able to incorporate. Their aesthetics were very classy and not over the top and that was exactly what we were looking for!
