We hired a local event planning company named Unicorn Planners who are Kochi based. We knew Kerala is going to be a little challenging mainly coz of the language barrier so hiring a local event team was the best decision we made. A fabulous experience working with Pooja and Jijoe, right from the beginning! The one thing you want in a planner is reliability and cooperation - and pooja and jijoe let us be completely stress free through the wedding. Pooja absolutely nailed the aesthetic I wanted for the events, and entertained every request we made. We had to problem solve for rain at the last moment, but she came up with solutions and fixed up the venue like a dream. Kudos to the team, and a special mention for smisha and anagha :) thank you team!

Pooja and her team are fantastic. Not only did she make our dream wedding a reality, but she also made the entire process fun and stress-free. Her work reflects her passion. I was in Canada, and my husband (then fiancé) was in Sri Lanka, and we had to plan the entire wedding over the phone. We were skeptical that we would be able to get everything we wanted; she made certain that we did, no matter how small or large. Her decorations and design are flawless–she is a stickler for details. Pooja was always approachable, provided individual attention, and made us feel like a team. Most importantly, she "listened" to what we wanted and where we were coming from, which we believe is the key to her amazing work. Ours was a traditional Sri Lankan Hindu wedding, so the traditions would have been new to the team, but what we appreciated was that they made sure even small elements of our traditions were captured in decoration, etc., which we did not even think of. This shows their extensive research and background work, as well as their exceptional creativity. Overall, Pooja and her team not only made our dream a reality, but they made it better.

I don't have enough words to articulate how well Pooja & Unicorn wedding planners did all the arrangements for my wedding. Everything was done to a T and furthermore. I had a vision in my head but everything was done way beyond our expectations. Pooja was always there to advise that one should go about things a certain otherwise it wouldn't be or look as good as it should. They were a one stop solution to all of my wedding needs : be it a luxury car for the wedding day or a bus to ferry people from one point to the other. She has access to the best confectioners, the best bands, best emcees and what not. I'd really recommend their services for all of your wedding preparation needs.

Unicorn Wedding Planners conducted both our engagement and wedding planning / execution that took place last year. I have been in touch with Pooja (the founder and head of Unicorn) from more than 2 months prior to these functions. The greatest thing about Unicorn was firstly their responsiveness to all requests and also that they were able to execute requests that might seem difficult at first. I have been in contact with Pooja from Vienna and although we have a time difference of 4 1/2 hours, she managed to be in touch and respond to me very quickly. Pooja is hard-working and committed to what she is doing and you can see that she is doing this work out of passion. Pooja is a perfect team leader. The entire team Megha, Jijo, Anjali, Lakshmi etc. are really cooperative and amazing. Their designs turned out really great. They were able to grasp what we needed and perfectly executed the events the way we wanted them to be. Thanks to them, our engagement and wedding both turned out really grand and unforgettable. Both events had nice them/colour schemes. We loved the props and decor (and of course the fresh flowers) that they provided. The team personally visited the venues and were available for all meetings or visits to the venues, and were fully emerged and dedicated throughout the entire wedding planning process. Furthermore, they had the right contacts to the people and services we needed for the event, including the band, dancers, hair salons, groom outfit stores, henna artist, cake artists, venue finding and all other needs related to the wedding. This was ESPECIALLY of help since we are not residing in Kerala and since it would have been really difficult for us, to get the right contact persons for our needs. Usually I see my dad uneasy and tensed during such event conductions, but this time he could chill thanks to you, Unicorn. THANK YOU SO MUCH UNICORN! YOU ARE AMAZING!

We chose Unicorn because they came recommended by a friend. Pooja has been with us from the start, and Shalaka and Megha along the way. They are so easy and pleasant to deal with, very courteous and friendly too. I felt they gauged our needs and our likes and dislikes rather well from a video conference we had with Pooja. They liaised with all the vendors and seemed to be on good terms with all of them. Unicorn really alleviated the stress of organising an event from overseas for us. Ours was an outdoor event and we (and our guests) really liked the final result. We must say the decor was exactly as per the final presentation Unicorn gave us, and as we had wanted.
