I booked her for me and my mom's makeup for my brother's day time wedding. Both of us did not like the makeup at all, rather some people commented that it does not look good on me, which is not something I've ever experienced. Okay to begin with, she was a bit late, but I was running late as well so I never said anything. There were plenty of issues with electricity cuts and us running late that we had to manage in a room with less light which I agree would have been a challenge for her. However, my issue is, she knew very well this is a day time wedding, there's ofcourse a Baraat involved. I was told the makeup would be waterproof, sweat proof etc but it was nothing like that. By the time we reached the venue, I had patches where the makeup just moved and was gone because of the sweat. I have thick eyebrows and she filled them even more making them the highlight on my face, and not in a good way, it made my face look very imbalanced. I have hooded eyes the eyeliner just left a mark on the upper eye lid after a while. Because I was not sitting infront of a mirror I could never see the lipstick shade and how it did not suit me at all. I understand it's a tense time at weddings and everything is rushed,but take some time to learn about your client even if it's not a bridal makeup. Also, the hairstylist is not great at all, both my mom and I thought everything was pretty mediocre. My only suggestion would be to please take some time to understand your client and what they would like. Perhaps just knowing the basics even a day before would help everyone a lot. I've seen her Instagram and everything looks good there but the overall experience and communication needs ton of improvement.

I had expected a lot from her. i previously informed her that the functions are back to back, would you be able to handle it. she said she is pro at that and not to worry. i didn't even bargain with her for a single penny because i respect artist. Even though, some of my friends warned me that she won't be able to handle the pressure. she came on time for engagement, i was ready on time thankfully. but for the wedding function she came 3 hours late. i was already panicking because the pandit had arrived, my in-laws had been waiting for 2 hours. the groom was ready. all the guest were there. only the bride wasn't ready. i was 3 hours late for my wedding. because of covid it was a small wedding so everything got highlighted. Anmol was herself panicking i could sense her hands shaking. i told few days back i will be wearing a silk saree, will she able to tie it. she said yes. but at the last moment, she was not able to. then my cousins came to rescue. it was such a blunder. in that state of hurry and panic i forgot to wear some of my jewelry. my wedding ran 3-4 hours late. I had planned to let her do my MIL's makeup as well but my MIL was really angry because she was late she didn't get any makeup done. my makeup photography couldn't be done because there was no time. my makeup clearly didn't set. my aunt's hair and makeup was ruined in hurry. she refunded the amount for that. she said her makeup got oxidised because of her skin. i didn't argue. the previous day she got makeup done from a parlour and it was all fine. I don't know whose fault is it. The whole experience made me so upset. We had to pay extra for the wedding venue because the wedding ran late. Was her makeup good. yes for the engagement makeup was good but the hairstylist was amateur. i have had braids made before but she made such pathetic braids. Honestly, a advice for you Anmol, please get a pro hair stylist. the girls were not good tbh. Whenever i look at my wedding pictures i just get upset and think, should i have taken her services? did i ask for refund? any other bride would have. but i didn't because i am not that person. Thanks Anmol. but please don't do this to any brides in future.

I booked her six months before my wedding. she promised me trial session before wedding which she kept postponing.. she never replied or call back to my calls/messages.. On my wedding day, she came late and behaved very rudely with my family members. Also, never discussed about the final payment and insisted to pay right there when I was ready for stage.. My experience was very bad.. and not at all satisfactory.

So to start with i had booked Anmol for my three wedding functions makeup i.e mehndi, sangeet and Reception for which i had done booking with her 6 months before my marriage (Nov 30). So for my mehndi function she came really late due to which she somehow managed to finish the makeup on time and the makeup started getting patchy within an hour after the function started, next was sangeet makeup for which she was supposed to reach the venue at 5-5:30pm as the function had to start at 7pm but she came at 6:30 so you all can imagine what kind of makeup she might have done and the hairstylist she just spoiled all my mood because of the very pathetic hairstyle also there were few emotional moments at the sangeet where i cried a bit and all my eye makeup got so spoiled that it all got black, don’t know what kind of waterproof makeup it was. Now comes the D-day for which all brides dream of their look and makeup but that turned out to be tragedy for me and my worst nightmare this lady was supposed to be at the venue at 5:30pm as the reception had to Start at 7:30 pm, at 6pm i got a call from her saying that her second bride got late and she has not started with her makeup yet so she won’t be able to reach at my venue on time instead i should go to the place where she had her other bride to start her makeup with, for which i did not agreed. And at last she gave me three options either to reach the place where she was asking me to come or she will reach my venue by 7pm or no makeup. Imagine a bride whose reception is to start at 7:30pm gets into such a situation, i had no choice left other then to opt for an alternative makeup artist due to which my reception started by 9:45 pm. Initially at the time of booking she will behave really professional but frankly speaking she takes booking of more then 3 bridal makeup a day due which she herself is not able to manage all of them. she does not have anything to do with the bride and her time she looks only for money. I have posted such a long review just to save all the future brides who are thinking to opt her for makeup by giving a heavy amount to save them from the blunder that i have faced.

I am so glad I went with Anmol for my wedding and Sangeet makeup because she gets your face and personality and then does her magic. She gave me effortless looks that made me look both sexy and the fabulous at the same time. Also, she's quick about her work so you'll get what you've imagined without having to endlessly wait for her to finish. I am glad I found her lest my dream of becoming the 'dreamy' bride would've fallen short of her talent.
