Whatever i say about Highroad Weddings is not gonna match up to the experience as words are simply not enough.... When my wedding date was finalized i had a very short notice to finalise a wedding photographer. On a casual meet over coffee with a friend & fellow photographer i expressed my concern that i haven't finalised anyone for the wedding shoot and i doubt someone will do the job on this short a notice especially during the peak wedding season. The common friend immediately rang up Anant and we had an improve discussion and without even checking out anything of the previous work or reference i decided to take him on with only 1 line of reference from my friend which was 'You won't be disappointed.' And i have to admit even tho i was skeptical at first all my fears were put aside only during a simple conversation with Anant. Being a hobbyist photographer myself I was completely at ease when we spoke & agreed on the 'project.' I being a Maharashtrian knew that we didn't have very fancy weddings and opened up about the fact that he had to create some magic out of the blue while clicking the pics as in-general this wedding was not going to be anything melodramatic (which i preferred). So the funny thing is I personally never met Anant or his team until the day of the Wedding & the first encounter was when he buzzed at 6:00 AM on the day of the wedding to say that he had reached the hotel and was on his way UP to my room. As soon as i welcomed him in I was sure that this part of the wedding which is gonna remain etched forever in his pictures was in complete safe hands. We personally hit it off in a second and the entire discussion on how he had imagined some of the shots on reaching the location were discussed as if it was not a client meet but a friend discussing the plan. This is one of the best things about Anant, he knows what to say and where to say and during a day when soo much is on a person's head he makes sure that the wedding shoot or anything related to that isn't a point of concern in anyway. During the entire wedding rituals Anant and his team were present on-point to capture beautiful candid shots and obviously the typical shots but with some Anant Twist... He made sure that the entire setup routine and non-setup routine was carried out beautifully & especially with me and Aditi at complete ease. Post the entire wedding tam-jham he quickly shared some of his favourite shots with us within a couple of days just before we left for our honeymoon and they were sooooo good that both of us couldn't stop raving about them and the wait for the final set grew even more. After we both had settled-in to our married life Anant shared with us some more pics and eventually the entire set which was drop dead gorgeous !! He made me look good in pics which was a decent surprise to me and he had captured some shots which made us thinking hard as we just couldn't figure out where had he placed himself for the same. After a round of discussions we finally came to a close on the shortlisted pictures which would go on our print album. The same was being organised by Anant himself (Highroad truly gives you the entire package start to end.) We discussed heavily during the coming days on how the print album would look, which paper to be used, matte or gloss, type & how the position of the pictures would look like and soon enough we had a soft copy of the entire print album & the actually print album followed soon. Getting those pics from soft copy to print just made them all the more great than they already were & we truly couldn't have asked for more or better. Anant & his team have truly been of great great help in making this task a huge huge success to us and we are sure we going to keep talking about his excellent work while going through his pictures of our wedding each and every time.
