Highly unprofessional and rude team specially Mr. Pankaj who handle their customers. Entire team gave me nightmare because of their other commitments on my wedding day, they restricted my makeup with time bound and Ashmeeta completed my wedding makeup in 30 min and left the place along with hair stylist as they had to travel to other location as well on same day. I was very happy initially as i had booked them for all 4 functions but behaviour of entire team has ruined my wedding day.

Got married on 2nd nov’19 And i really wanted to review them because being born and brought up in jaipur, i have seen the makeup done by all the salons even the famous ones. So i was very afraid of approaching them so i decided to book a professional mua but these days there are so many of them that u can’t make out whom to book!! So i decided to personally meet shortlisted makeup artist and understand their outlook and skill. Then i came across to Asmita and i kind of connected with her so i thought of trusting her for my wedding day. And I wasn’t disappointed at all. I booked Asmita as my wedding mua for 12-13th of oct. Due to my job in bengaluru I wasn’t able to discuss things with her so we directly met on my sangeet day. But i was very amazed with the look she thought for me after looking me n my dress. I felt so confident and my face automatically lit up after seeing my final look. Parvez made a mesmerising messy fish tail braid for me, with fresh flowers blooming on it and it went perfectly with my gown. Next day, i was worried as i wanted a different look for the wedding day and to my surprise, they nailed it too. I was looking completely different. My makeup for both days was very subtle n felt very light. Asmita, being good at eye makeups, did different eyes both days using glitter and beautiful lashes. Unfortunately I cannot respond to my previous review that you have messaged to me. Calling a customer a liar and that I am trying to take advantage is probably another reason why I am happy I am not going with you. I didn't confirm with you because it's obvious that it is my Reception day and I need to talk to other vendors. Ofcourse I want to make the most out of my money. Who doesn't? But from your WhatsApp messages you told me "Why would I use my products on you just to wipe it off 10-15mins later". Let me tell you that I am from Australia- I have helped many family members and friends with makeup and every single one had a FULL FACE makeup trial in India and Australia for their indian weddings. You haggled and said "half face" and I said "fine- half face" and you said "no eye makeup". Who does a makeup trial when you don't even complete the look?! You probably haven't seen or dealt with anyone who is a makeup artist outside of Jaipur to know this. But telling me to "Find someone you have more faith in" was the line drawn. As for your review- it speaks for itself. You left the message with "equally concerned about your big day" and then edited it to wish me luck? I still think you need to learn to handle conversations with customers and for that reason I blocked you and no longer need an explanation. Such a shame that you have made me feel terrible when it is my wedding. You only care about your products and money and didn't think about the bride and her experience. Truly upset and disappointed. Will be warning and anyone and everyone about that.

From terrible communication to lack of understanding this vendor has been the worst of the worst. I would not even give 0.5 stars From the initial conversation about my Wedding Reception makeup this woman agreed to have a trial run with no terms and conditions. When confirming the amount and payment details I once again confirmed can I have a makeup trial. She said yes but later laid MULTIPLE terms and conditions that had never come up before. Saying "Half the face only, no makeup, only foundation, no hair etc". Nowhere in this world can someone get a makeup trial if we don't ACTUALLY see the makeup on our face. Otherwise it's not a trial. It's just some foundation. That isn't trialling out the makeup. When I mentioned all of this she said "you can find someone else you have faith in". From passive aggressiveness, to lack of understanding, providing added pressure to myself (the bride) she has been a nightmare. In complete honesty, I am spending 50k on my wedding makeup in Kerala and the only reason I am happy to spend a high amount is because the makeup artist was lovely and patient. Very understanding and took time to explain things to me. I would have been happy to pay higher than the 19k she quoted if she was a lovely person. Truth is she doesn't give a crap about her customers and has a huge ego. I would not recommend this person if you are someone who values customer service and are after a good experience for your most special day.

I have been wanting to do this for a very long time, finally got some time to put my thoughts to this post. I was never able to imagine my wedding, how will I look, how will everyone else look. If there was one thing that I wasn't worried about for my wedding, it was my appearance and that's all because of shootinstars_makeupstudio .I can't even begin to thank asmita kamya and parvez  for the marvelous work that they exhibited as a team during my wedding.
