i stayed for 3 nights along with my family. Ambience is very nice so is the greenery. reception staff were very polite and helpful. Food is good but breakfast is not up to our expectations, especially dosas. lunch and dinner are good

PLANNING A WEDDING HERE? READ THIS I planned my wedding at Aranya on Nov 27-28th 2021 and I truly wish I hadn't. Some of my pain points : 1. Booking the resort : after a lot of back and forth we finally decided to book the resort but during negotiation phase we were showed one food menu and once we booked the resort we were showed another subpar menu. Managing Director was being sly and tried to slip one past us but glad we noticed and got it rectified. 2. Service : I was given contact number of Sales representative Joseph who was responsible for coordinating and ensuring all my questions were answered. I was still in Canada and was only arriving 2 weeks prior to my wedding so I reached out to Joseph on quite a few occasions and most times he didn't answer his phone nor did he get back to my text messages. I had to follow up with him a number of times to get single question answered. Joseph didn't show any initiative nor urgency nor interest in dealing with me. I had to literally pull answers from him. Definitely don't work with Joseph. 3. Vendors : We were told if we didn't hire their registered vendors we I'll have to pay royalty. Not wanting to make an expensing wedding even more expensive we decided to hire in house event management and decorator company :Gala Events. We assumed since they are registered vendors coordinating between venue and event coordinator will be good. That definitely wasn't the case. Satya the head at Aranya and Gala event coordinators picked silly fights with each other affecting event start times on a number of occasions during those 2 days. I had to intervene a number of times to resolve those issues. Gala events is the worst vendor I have ever dealth with and their coordinators are inexperienced and lack responsible behaviour. They only look at giving reasons as to why something wasn't done rather than actually finding ways around issues. 4. Inspite of booking the complete venue for 2 days when our guests asked for extra water bottles in their rooms they were told they need to pay cash else they won't receive any bottles. Our guests who had travelled from all over the world and this is the experience they were given. This was on day 1, when I told this to the staff there they ensured this won't happen again but this again happened on the 2nd day. Why couldn't they just add water bottles to the final bill. They didn't ask us before shamelessly asking all our guests for money when the staff when to deliver water at night. This was really embarrassing for me and my family. This shows there staff clearly lack training in small matters which impact the overall experience 5. Overall : I don't recommend Aranya for wedding nor for a vacation. They are money minded and lack the customer centric attitude which is evident in leading resorts/hotels across the world. Their staff aka Joseph and their Vendor Gala Events all provide pathetic sub par quality service and don't really put in any effort to ensure that guests are comfortable and that they put their best foot forward to win repeat business. Also please note when we expressed that we are unhappy with the service Gala events provided to their owner Manisha Solanki a day after our wedding and asked her to call us to discuss this she completely ignored us. She dodged numerous calls from us and hasn't given us a call back yet. Manisha Solanki (Gala events) her coordinator Sandeep and Aranya resort completely ruined our wedding. Aranya resort if you want to ensure your guests have a good experience with your empanelled vendors you need to get rid of Manisha and her useless team. You are the reason we hired Gala Events and at the end of the day you are responsible for her pathetic service. Also ask Manisha to Call me! From the moment we stepped into this venue, we knew it was the one. The elegant decor, excellent service, and stunning views created the ideal setting for our wedding.
