5 Things We Loved About Parineeti Chopra & Raghav Chadha's Wedding

BY Sakshi | 28 Sep, 2023 | 2059 views | 3 min read

The #RagNeeti Wedding has been all over social media as with all Bollywood weddings, but this one has an intimate vibe like no other. There has not been a more apt hashtag for a celebrity wedding, but this one also had so many other standout things that truly made it special. Here are 5 things WMG loved about Parineeti's wedding- which are super inspirational for other couples as well!

The No Gift Policy

An Indian wedding with a no gift policy? Yep, they did it! Parineeti Chopra and AAP leader Raghav Chadha decided to not only ask only for blessings and no gifts, but even the shagun for the Milni was ₹11- and this was something that was insisted by the groom. Now isn't that something new and a welcome change in today's times?

The Special Bridal Entry

Parineeti is known for her singing skills as well, and she put them on display at her wedding too! There is a video of her walking down the aisle in a song in her voice, and we love how she personalised her bridal entry with a special song for her beau! The song itself is super pretty, sung by her. Check it out.

The Personalisations

Parineeti's bridal lehenga paid homage to her late nani, and we think it was such a precious idea. She got her nani's challa converted to a latkan, which was a fabulous idea. And of course, she also had her long bridal veil with 'Raghav' written in Hindi, which was a simple yet special idea too.

So subtle yet striking!

She even got her footwear customised with cute little details which was an adorable touch.

The Jewellery

The thing that truly popped for us in her bridal look was that gorgeous jewellery- jade green and emerald stones looking fabulous against the ecru lehenga. That jade green maangtikka is legit one of the prettiest ones we have seen in a while!

The Decor

So pearlcore seems to have been the theme for the wedding, and the decor was a representation of that. From the wedding invites to the decor on the stage, everything seemed to have pearls - even the stage backdrop arch had gigantic pearls all over it! There was also a lot of baby's breath- all the decor was white and green without any other colour!

Another thing that we noticed about the wedding was the use of florals across the side of the aisle, which kept a gap between the couple and the guests, which led to super clean couple portraits!
