Destination weddings in Rajasthan are a perfect way to have an intimate wedding with a limited guestlist and still maintain the royal vibe! Which is exactly why Sneha and Amit decided to get hitched in Udaipur - the city of lakes. It was a beautiful affair with a colourful day mehendi and a traditional night wedding where Sneha looked ravishing in a traditional red lehenga. Jayesh Khaturia captured the couple's most special moments and gave them memories that will last a lifetime! Scroll down to see this colourful celebration.
Meet Sneha & Amit
We met each other in our office, Microsoft, in Hyderabad. We worked in sister teams and would catch up often to discuss work. That is how we became friends. And then it was just a matter of time we fell in love with each other. Amit, then moved to the US for his higher studies. But the long distance made us realize each others' importance even more. After dating for 4 years, we decided to tie the knots.
From The Bride:
I always wanted to have a fun-filled wedding and Amit always wanted a royal one. We could not find a better place than Udaipur, befitting our needs. We also wanted to keep it a close and intimate affair. The functions were spread across 3 days, with only 120 guests.
We chose Ishwar as our wedding planner and his team did a fantastic job in transforming our dreams into reality. I really appreciate his patience and his dedication towards his work.
We decided on Jayesh for photography, after doing a lot of online research. And I must say he exceeded our expectations. He beautifully captured our moments to last a lifetime.
Kudos to Kamakshi Soni for her exceptional makeup skills. She knew when to glam me up and when to keep my looks subtle. And each time it was flawless.
I am a huge Anita Dongre fan. I like how her designs are a mix of traditional and contemporary. So for wedding ceremony, I got my lehenga custom made in one of her designs.
