We love a cute engagement as much as a wedding, and this one was just whimsical!
First of all it had a bride who flaunted her natural curls in all their glory, and second? Well, we loved the beautiful vibe of this outdoor engagement. Riya and Siddharth had a staycation wedding at Mulshi, in the outskirts of Pune, and it was simple and elegant. The bride was involved in every stage of the planning, and we loved how everything turned out. From her simple and pretty sarees to the elegant decor, this is one that has a lot of pin-worthy elements!
Meet Riya and Siddharth
We met at the office. We are both lawyers, he was my senior , when I was interning. We are both into pets, workouts and travel, that’s what got us together.
Engagement
From the Bride:
We got engaged on the 25th of November 2021, I am a perfectionist and need everything planned to the T, I’m sure I pestered my wedding planners to the point of no return. We wanted an outdoor venue that was very unique, we opted for Song of Life County, a villa resort, where everyone could have a good time and stay back. We wanted to have the most minimum decor and highlight the natural surroundings, that’s exactly what our wedding planners did for us and we did need everything to be very pastel, using extremely muted colours, just like our personal styles. I sent them several pictures, right down to the exact flower I wanted on the chair, and they fulfilled all our expectations.

The venue is absolutely beautiful. It’s like a small European town in the city if Pune. They have absolutely beautiful villas, a pool, an indoor venue and mesmerising surroundings. They were very supportive during COVID, even when we had to change our date twice.
Makeup Artist: Amrita Bokey
She was great. She gave me exactly what I wanted. I wanted to keep the makeup very easy, clean and nude. And most importantly I wanted to keep my natural curls as they are and that’s exactly what she did.

The wedding planners have faced the brunt of my worst personality. I had several calls with them and a lot of sight visits. I sat with them and planned everything right from the font on the board to the exact colour of every flower. They gave us exactly what we had imagined, and the event went by with absolutely no stress, because they had people running around for everyone and to make sure that every tiny detail was fulfilled to our expectation.
