Our jaws dropped when we saw this one! We come across a lot of weddings, especially pastel ones here at WedMeGood, but this one caught our eye in particular. Simran and Hamit's Anand Karaj seemed just like out of a dream- loved the bride's understated pastel pink Anjul Bhandari lehenga- the groom in soft sage green, and the decor a beautiful powder blue. Love how the bride reshuffled the events, having a reception before the wedding and the Sangeet after! Every event was aptly themed, and a unique one at that- don't miss the chic AfroBeat Brunch they had at the end. This wedding is perfect for all the inspo one would need for a modern Indian destination wedding.

"We’ve known each other since we were children but reconnected after 20 years", the bride tells us.
High Tea
A lovely welcome lunch marked the start of the festivities, where friends and family were given a traditional Rajashthani greeting. As the day went on, passionate talks and photo ops took place, and the atmosphere was charged with contagious enthusiasm.
Reception
Instead of following the conventional order of events, Simran redesigned the schedule and began the wedding with a reception that featured heartfelt films, loving embraces, and poignant speeches.
Anand Karaj
Relentless in the face of inclement weather, Simran and Hamit gracefully welcomed the sodden skies as they exchanged vows on the rooftop of the Leela in Jaipur. Wearing soft pastel colors, they produced an ethereal scene of classic romance while Sikh hymns filled the air.
Sangeet & Baraat
The festivities went on unabatedly, with guests entering a vibrant Sangeet Hall after a boisterous Baraat parade. Shining in their Baraat personas, Simran and Hamit led their individual processions with elegance. An exciting after-party replaced the Sangeet night, which was a wonderful conclusion to a day full of dancing and love.
The AfroBeat Brunch
On the third day, there was a relaxed brunch party with an Afro theme and an evening of exquisite dining, inviting visitors to relax and enjoy the afterglow of the celebrations. Like all other events, this one was meticulously planned, with every second demonstrating the strength of unbridled imagination.
