First Person: "I Scouted These Pretty Outfits Under 50K For My Engagement...

Sure, the engagement ceremony marks the beginning of a new chapter, but so does its announcement! It comes with a barrage of new emotions for a bride - from pure giddy happiness, utter bewilderment to intense, emotionally-crushing feels. And trust me when I say this, because I felt every ounce of it when the tables turned around from me being a wedding blogger to a bride-to-be! However, it would be safe to say that it has its perks too.  

My job at WMG involves skimming through an array of designers & labels on a daily basis. And of course, I wanted to make the most of my scouting skills to find an engagement outfit that was not only pretty but affordable too. Well guess what, I rightfully did! Not one, not two, I managed to scout as many as 10 designer outfits, each under a budget of 50K & help my fellow brideys alongside. Last on the list, I have this show-stopping number that features an ombre sequinned lehenga and a pearl-embellished blouse. It has all the makings of an ideal engagement lehenga, and it was love at first sight for me.

My Final Pick:

After trying quite a few lehengas, finally settled on this glimmering sequinned number from Surabhi Chopra which was love at first sight for me. From the fit, the cut, the style to the flare of the lehenga, everything was on fleek! The cherry on top was the striking Brown Sugar hue.
