When we first saw Dhriti's picture on Instagram, we were smitten by the gold kanjeevaram, the beautiful lotus jaimalas, and her brilliant smile! Dhriti got married to Tohsin in Goa, with the beautiful backdrop of the crashing waves of the Arabian Sea. Dhriti looked absolutely radiant in her bridal look, with her smile being her constant companion. From The Bride:
It was an cross cultural wedding and we wanted best of both worlds. So for our mehendi, we did the traditional garba performances and outfits (from my culture). Whereas we both wanted the wedding to be a traditional south indian (bunt style) from my husbands culture. I wore a kanjeevaram , adorned a big floral braid and south Indian jewellery, whereas my husband wore a lungi and kurta. we even gifted the wedding guests traditional sarees and lungis for them to wear at the wedding.

Ideal location for our wedding. One wing is such that it can look like a traditional house from Mangalore with a huge courtyard in the front. The hospitality is great and so are the rooms. Even the base category rooms are so big and lavish.
Makeup Artist: Chaitali Patel
Chaitali is such a warm and calm person to be around that she makes getting glamed up on your biggest day seem like a breeze and in fact fun! She’s well planned and researched on your outfits and gives the best recommendations for your final hair and make up look, AND at the same time is open to suggestions which is great. In my experience, I would say go with the expert’s inputs since they know best. And with Chaitali you can be rest assured to look and feel your best. She gave me a different look for each of my functions (I had four within 2 days)keeping in mind that I still wanted to retain a more or less natural and soft look. The products she uses are great and in fact she even helped me choose basic make up products for myself for later use. I have already recommended her to my circle and frankly can’t wait to have another occasion where I can work with her again.

From the get go, we were on the same page. Nafisa was patient in under standing our style and not forcing to implement her ways. Luckily enough too, our styles and thoughts matched on keeping the wedding simple, understated yet very classy, not forgetting the traditional touch. Her attention to detail is note worthy and it runs through within her team. Although we looked after every tiny detail ourselves, with Nafisa around we were assured that even if we slipped or forgot, she was there to pick it up!
