In the wedding world everything gets done and dusted very quickly. Same goes for pre-wedding shoot locations. So we decided why not give your list a fresh buzz by asking our real brides which was that one undiscovered pre-wedding shoot location they chose for their shoot!

Ketki says

“The Central Park at Kharghar in Mumbai! It’s the place if you are looking for a garden or a park themed venue without the crowd and noise. We clicked our pictures in the dappled sunlight in the early hours and we recommend it to anyone who loves parks!”

Divya says

“Our photographer laughed at first but he got on board. We did our pre-wedding shoot at all the khaau gallis of Mumbai to acknowledge our mutual love for food. So right from the Ghatkopar khaau galli to Minara Masjid lane we did 4 different ones (Ghatkopar, Bandra, Minara Masjid & Mahim) It was amazing to see all these places being captured in such a different way plus we got a kickass photoshoot out it! And also, an heavenly food coma!”

“ ‘Hearts & Flowers’ is what my fiancée promised me when he went down on one knee. He gave me my heart then (awwwww!) and he gave me flowers at our pre-wedding shoot! We shot our pre-wedding shoot in the Dadar Phool Market! I am from Pune so I had no idea how superb it would be. My friends thought we were crazy but in reality it was so much fun. Amidst all the roses and stunning gerberas, we have fun and lovely shots. Just one tip – try and go really early – like 4 am sorts to make sure that you don’t ruin their market time. The people are really lovely.”

Vaidehi says

“We both were shifting to Mumbai owing to our work post marriage and we got a flat in a newly-constructed building. We are quite camera shy so I suggested why not shoot somewhere indoor where we are not conscious of the people around us. We shot in our unpainted home but it meant so much to us because the house signified something new and so did our marriage. My husband yet gives me brownie points for that idea!”

Devika says

“We rented a private yacht and got our photo shoot done on it! It was expensive but I love Mumbai and I wanted it to be a part of it. But I was also bored of all the same sealink & Bandra fort shots. This way I got the glorious sea view, backdrop of Gateway and Taj and a fresh new look!”

Alita says

"We both are lovers of everything Mumbai. From chaats and street food, we just love Mumbai. Both our families are based in Mumbai who shower and pamper us whenever we go there for our holidays. Also we had Karan’s sister Mansi, who resides in Mumbai. She was our little tour guide to help discover some hidden treasures in Mumbai. We shot all over Mumbai - especially, next to the SV road highway with the Sea link and the Sky line of Mumbai, Quaint bylanes of Bandra and of-course the bandstand."

Shivangi says

"At first, I found it a little weird because I go to Bandra maybe 4 times a week, and I hadn't seen anything scenic in Bandra for a pre-wedding shoot. But my photographer, Monisha found places like a small garden near Pali hill, a small door near Lilavati hospital. Beautiful things which everyone has been overlooking in their everyday life, it was amazing"
