Sister Of The Groom Style: Meet Aaina!

BY Sakshi | 05 Feb, 2019 | 5001 views | 3 min read

Why should the bridesmaids have all the fun? When the groom has a sister, she can give any bridesmaid a run for her money, and this one sure did, with looks that slayed at each wedding function. Yep, Aaina was the perfect sister of the groom with pretty and unique looks at every different function, and what we loved was that she sported some super easy breezy outfits from some known and unknown mid-range designers! So if you're a sister of the bride or the groom, check her out for some major Inspo !

Meet Aaina

So over to Aaina now, as she doles out details on who she wore and how she brought the look together!

Look 1: Engagement- Simple yet pretty with a flared Anarkali by Nitya Bajaj★ 4.2

As soon I saw the outfit's colour and its pairing with a pink dupatta, I fell in love with it. To top it up all, it had a nice embellished belt. I paired this up with chandbalis to keep it absolutely traditional.

Look 2: Cocktail night- Effortlessly glam in an off shoulder gown by Astha Narang★ 4.3

I decided to glam up for this occasion being the groom's sister. I chose a wrap neck gown by Astha Narang and since the shoulders were bare, I wanted to have long earnings so that I didn't have to wear anything on the neck. My earrings were by Bijoux Priya Chandra which looked absolutely stunning.

Look 3: Mehendi- Easy breezy in an olive green outfit by Aneesh Rawra

For the Mehendi, even though we were at the boy’s side, we decided to go all out and have as much fun as girl’s side. I chose a green outfit with tassels by Aneesh Rawra and decided to club it with gota jewellery, which we sourced from Chandni Chowk.

Look 4: Sangeet- Elegant yet fun in a draped jumpsuit by Ridhima Bhasin★ 4.3

I chose a baby pink draped saree jumpsuit by Ridhima Bhasin for this occasion. I love the fusion aspect in it keeping it modern with a saree look. I paired it with Outhouse Ivory dream earrings with drop crystals, which I absolutely fell in love with as soon as I saw them- infant I bought an outfit which went with them!

Look 5: Wedding- Pretty as a peach in a pastel lehenga by Gazal Gupta★ 4.4

I absolutely love pastel shades, and for the wedding I wanted to go with a subtle yet elegant lehenga. Hence, I chose Gazal Gupta! I absolutely love her collection, especially the big tassels that she designs with the skirt. I probably went overboard with the jewellery a bit with both a maangtikka and a passa, but I have only one brother, so no regrets!
