Sister Of The Groom Style: Meet Rohina!

BY Apoorva | 28 Apr, 2023 | 2690 views | 4 min read

Indian entrepreneur and social media influencer Rohina Khira has always had style! This queen of style knows a thing or two about making heads turn, and her stunning home decor store, AA Living, is a testament to that. But that's not all – when she recently graced her brother's nuptials in Thailand, she looked like a million bucks and left us all absolutely smitten with her impeccable sense of fashion. From her stunning mehendi look to the breathtaking wedding ensemble, Rohina effortlessly slayed every single look, leaving us in awe of her style game. And the best part? She's spilling all the deets on how she put together these awe-inspiring looks!

Meet Rohina

Look 1: Welcome Lunch

The idea was just to be casual and comfortable since the guests were flying into Phuket by noon. We were welcoming them with lunch and massages. I picked this classic Saaksha and Kini★ 5 outfit that was comfortable yet dressy. Loved the tropical print, bright colours and airy summery feel of the dress. I did my own hair and makeup for this event.

Look 2: Dinner, Drinks and Band Night

I picked a signature Payal Singhal★ 5 outfit for this festive night. It was a wonderful night to just interact with the guests, settle them in, let them enjoy some live music and eat some amazing dinner catered from all over the world!

I loved the shade of mint blue! The velvet looked rich and the scalloped jacket and bustier fit so well. Payal Singhal always adds beautiful touches like ghungharoos or tassels which give a slight boho feel.

We chose sleek straight hair, peach lips and purple-lined eyes.

Look 3: Mehendi

This was a poolside mehendi - with bougainvillas as the prime decor, tropical colours, massages and mehendi for the ladies. So I picked up an easy breezy Arpita Mehta Official★ 4.5 look.

Loved the flowy nature of the fabric, the cape, the mirrored bustier and palazzo pants that were so airy and comfortable. Wore dome-shaped gold jhumkas to add a traditional touch.

We chose a messy side braid and natural makeup since it was a day event.

Look 4: Sangeet Night

We glammed it up for this night since there were dances on stage and a live performance artist. So I thought that this stunning metallic Shantanu Nikhil★ 4.7 would be great. I loved the armour-style gown, deep neck and vintage glam that this outfit brought along with it. I also feel like Shantanu & Nikhil are so inclusive with their cuts, look good on women who are 5'1 feet or 5’8! Wore an uncut jadau and ruby necklace and solitaires for my ears.

We chose smokey eyes, nude lips and Hollywood glam waves. Loved it!

Look 5: Wedding

I think this was my favourite outfit, the colour was a dream to wear in the day, and the outfit was lightweight and allowed me to move with ease. From the house of Torani★ 4.1 , this gorgeous lehenga is something that I will truly cherish. Anyone who knows me, knows I value comfort above all, so with this outfit, I got everything I wanted! I custom-made a belt from Torani for this outfit and loved the slightly puffed sleeves. I wore a maang tikka and a jadau set from Renu Zaveri.

We chose winged eyeliner, soft pink lips and a loose messy bun with flowers inside.

All photography was done by the amazing team of Raabta Studios!

For all my events, except the welcome lunch, my makeup artist was Chaitali Sengupta and for my hair, it was Ruchi Arta Uppal.

How gorgeous does she look?
