South Indian Actress Bhavana's Wedding Which Broke the Internet!

We loved the #ChaiSam wedding, and here is another South Indian star's wedding that are currently crushing on! Malayalam actress Bhavana got married to her beau, Kannada producer Naveen, and the wedding had quite a few ideas to steal for all you South Indian brides out there! The couple got married on January 25 at Thrissur in Kerala, and their wedding was graced by a lot of big names in the business! And the wedding literally broke the internet, with fans going crazy sharing their photos all over! Yup, if North India had #Virushka, South Indian movie buffs had #BhavanaNaveen!

The Wedding

Bhavana was decked up in an all gold look for the wedding, with a gold Kanjivaram and some gorgeous temple jewellery, and looked ethereal! Her wedding ensemble was by Label' M, a Kochi-based label. The all-gold, double border Kanchipuram sari was bespoke woven, and surface embellished with floral motifs at the Label’ M studio.

Getting the outfits ready took almost a month, with 25-odd artisans working on the embroidery. The sleeves of the blouse were hand-embroidered with Radha-Krishna motifs, while the border and the pleats had elaborate flowers.

The Reception

The reception saw the couple colour co-ordinated in peach and gold, rose gold for Bhavana. The peach and gold lehenga that Bhavana wore was heavily embroidered with rhinestones and gold sequins. The rose-gold dupatta gave the gold of the outfit an understated effect. And just check out that jewellery- so gorgeous!

The Mehendi

Bhavana wore a simple yellow outfit with colourful appliqué work for her Mehendi, paired with pompom jewellery.
