So many Udaipur weddings, and each beautiful in their own way! Hetali and Karan's Udaipur wedding is yet another gorgeous one we spotted- with everything top-notch! We love how the bride styled her red Sabyasachi lehenga- adding a touch of tradition to the wedding. Her other outfits were on point too, as was the decor and the vibe. A 'big, fat and fun' party for these childhood sweethearts as the bride describes it! Take a look!
Meet Hetali and Karan
It all started 10 years back and here we are together as husband and wife! We were just kids when we fell in love. Yes, we are childhood sweethearts!
Karan & I were classmates and met for the first time in the winter of 2011. Sometimes for projects, sometimes at the movies & sometimes for tution classes. We were inseparable but I never thought it can grow more than friendship. The game changer was when I went on a month long trip to the United States for Christmas and the distance got us closer and how! He called me two days before I was going to come back and said “I really love you, will you be my life partner? Also don’t agree if you are not sure because I want to marry you”. This came from a person who was just 18 at that time. It took me a day to agree but there was no looking back.
Sitting beside him in the mandap, I looked at him and realised how powerful love is. It really doesn’t matter how young and naive you are. If its pure and true, the universe holds you together and no one can come in your way. We will always be friends first and that’s what made all these years pass in a jiffy. A decade of falling in love, 3 years of long distance and a hell lot of trips together, we can’t imagine it any other way.
