Wonderful experience overall, they listened to all of our requirements, they recommended some of their signature dishes. We worked with the B18 for our wedding and totally LOVED IT! From the get go, the team was focused on taking all the planning and execution and making sure our guests were comfortable and most importantly fed! Tanya worked with us to curate a perfect menu, which tailored to both North and South taste buds and she provided great suggestions on how to change things up to have a different menu every day. This was a huge time saver! Everything was delicious from the cocktails snacks, to the main courses, desserts and special care was spent in decorations and making sure everything matched the decor. Harish was a total magician onsite and no task was big enough. He was able to complete some of the last minute changes and demands, with a smile and a can do attitude. The Yelle Oota I believe was sub-contracted to another vendor who did a fantastic job, both with the quality and service of food. The evening spread was excellent as well. We also had a small mehendi ceremony prior to the main functions, where Tanya's team served some amazing chaat. Highly recommend.

We had a two-day north Indian Hindu wedding comprising several functions Haldi, Mehendi-Sangeet, Wedding Lunch, and Reception dinner in Bangalore. Essentially we had 5 meals at the venue to feed our guests approximately 120. I cannot express in words how well the catering was executed. Ours was a Tamil + Odia wedding spanning two days and with 450+ guests, and we needed a caterer who could help provide a great experience for guests from both states. We liked our first conversation with Tanya and after a couple of video calls we settled on a preliminary menu, which we were invited for a tasting at their premises in Anjanapura. The tasting went great and the whole family found it easy to work with Tanya. She was just a great person to bounce ideas off of, and she actively noted down feedback during the tasting as well. We went through nine iterations of the menu with her after the tasting to add / change a few items, and Tanya was very accommodating to these changes. Banquet18 had done quite a number of weddings at our venue, The Tamarind Tree. Due to her experience with the venue, she was able to help us with the layout, decor, coordinating with the venue team and other decisions for a smooth service. During the reception, we also had a massive downpour of rain, which was prepared for and handled very well by the Banquet18 team. The food was highly rated by our guests and family! Our reception was a fusion course of South Indian, North Indian and even an authentic Bengali Chingri Jhol (prawn curry), and our wedding had traditional South India Yelle Oota spreads for breakfast and lunch. The taste was exceptional and some of our personal recommendations would be the Mini Samosas, Pani Puri, Hara Bhara Kebab, Andhra Fish Fry, Achari Chicken Tikka, Jamun Shooters, Indian-style Pepper Chicken, and their Yelle Oota spread. The one and only hitch we had was with the team serving the Yelle Oota. The timing of the wedding caused breakfast and lunch to be scheduled fairly close to each other. This led to some friction with the team managing the Yelle Oota, since some guests who wished to be served late-breakfast or early-lunch were denied. We mentioned this to Tanya, who had noticed it too, and she was gracious enough to take it as constructive feedback. All in all, we were very glad that we went with Banquet18, and would recommend future couples to do so too!

We had our reception at Tamara in Bangalore on July 16th. Initially, I was a bit hesitant about contacting Banquet 18 since I thought they will be expensive. However, Flavin was kind enough to sit with me and work out a menu for my budget and needs. We needed a fusion of South and North Indian. I thought they didn't cater South dishes. But surprisingly, they did. In fact their live Dosa counter was a great hit at my event. We also has live malpua, goli bajji, chowmein which all tasted out of the world. They not only make tasty food, they also present it in creative ways to give the food a nice twist. We recently concluded a 2.5 day wedding function with Tanya s team providing us breakfast, 1 brunch, 2 lunches and 2 dinners which represented cusines from different parts of india. Their paneer dishes are top notch..soft and silky soft paneer in each one. Other much talked about dishes from our meals included bhindi do pyaza, soft, hot small sized round phulka, dragon paneer on a live conter(long queue), lauki ka halwa, kheema, kathal ki biriyani, pyaaz ki kachori, saboodana wada jharkand style fish curry, crisp jalebis and bajara poori...service, hospitality and adaptability to our ever delayed time schedules was very gracious by ananya and her team. When the wedding is north and south mixed one thing we need to make sure is that the food is up to the mark for everyone. Thanks to Banquet 18, we could do it beautifully. They provided All meals for two days at the venue including special delivery to the bride and groom’s rooms as we were busy getting dressed all day! I will not forget the Bamboo biryani and the rasmalai. Even though it was my own wedding I made sure I was getting the tasty food in my room. Our wedding was a bit of a catastrophe. Vendors turned up late. A cloud burst turned into a mini thunder storm and blew away most of our decor. We had to move indoors despite spending a lot of efforts to have an outdoor setting. The ONLY thing that went right was the catering. Banquet 18 has a splendid team who are diligent and care about your event like it’s their own. Their staff under the care of Ananya took out the time to salvage as much as they could to move the food indoors and continue feeding our guests. The food was great and we received a lot of compliments on the menu being served. I highly recommend hiring them and their team for your wedding.

Like many of the COVID-19 weddings, ours was a last minute one too. We reached out to Tanya and she arranged for a tasting. We did have a few comments on how certain authentic Telugu dishes had to be changed. I’ll be honest, I was a little worried at the time, but the way they delivered was absolutely phenomenal! The quality, taste and presentation was beyond perfect! I was very happy with not just their food but also their service. There was absolutely no compromise what so ever! I was told that as a bride, you won’t get to eat much food. Had a wonderful experience with banquet 18 at our wedding. We had 2 main events - engagement (dinner) and wedding (yelle oota). Dinner was pretty straightforward and we knew that banquet 18 was an expert at presentation and they did not disappoint. Our expectation for yelle oota was quite complicated since we needed a mix of authentic south indian items as well as something unique. We were quite confused on how to choose the menu until we met Tanya. She suggested a lot of items within the budget and it turned out to be amazing. All the guests who attended the wedding loved all the items. Few items which impressed most people were the tender coconut payasam, galouti kebab (veg), rasam and the mor kozhambu. Apart from the food, the experience working with Tanya was delightful. We did not have to intervene during the event even once. Despite the increase in headcount by ~40, they were able to manage and no one went home hungry. I would strongly recommend the team and have already decided that banquet 18 will be the caterers for all my family events in the future.

We booked banquet 18 to cater to our wedding at Tamarind Tree in the covid times. That meant so many more things had to be kept in mind the reduced guest list, the hygiene and govt protocol. Nevertheless Tanya and her team made sure to execute everything in the best way possible. We got so many compliments from our friends and family, not just about the food too! A Bengali girl marrying a Tam Brahm in Bangalore! Can you imagine the vast difference in the menu and the apprehension of a typical Bengali bride about the perfection of the quintessential “bangali khabar”?! Since I was marrying a Tamil Brahmin, I didn’t have the option of having a non-vegetarian platter, which makes things all the more difficult because that kinda thing on an occasion as grand as a wedding, doesn’t sit well with Bengali tummies 😂😂 To be honest, I didn’t look around much. Team Banquet 18 did a fabulous job. We had 2 cultures to take care of – one side being Marwari & the other side being Malyali. Initially we were sceptical since it was very diverse cuisines. But I have to tell you that both the cuisines were done to perfection. Both sides of the families were extremely happy with the food. The malyali sadya on the leaf was very authentic & the Marwari traditional items like daal bati etc were simply amazing.

Im a punjabi and my fiance a malyali, not just do we hail from the 2 corners of India, but we also have families with poles apart choices and food being the common point to all of us. Unlike other caterers who gave us their best menus and wanted us to choose that, Tanya (Flavian) spent time meeting both the families individually, carefully noting their choices and our inputs and came up with a fantastic menu which satisfied almost all stakeholders. My fiance and myself working in top positions in Bengalurus IT consulting companies, also had a fare share of young crowd for the wedding. The menu had a perfect balance for everyone to have a takeaway, be it traditionally inclined senior people or the ready to experiment young crowd. Besides the variety, the food was amazing yummy, the presentation, the courteous staff, she herself being their from beginning to end made sure food was the most talked about thing at my wedding. Always just a call away and adapted to most of our requests patiently. The best part being, the food bringing unison between our families, ended with happy tummies and tears of joy! Flavian was a pleasure to work with for my nephew's wedding. She & her team arrived on time, attended to their work with professionalism & great hospitality. Everything was set up on time, and the food was of highest quality & amazing taste of every food item they had served. Flavian (or Tanya as most people know her) is the mastermind being the amazing taste and creativity that comes out on the Banquet she lays. She has the knack of making the event her own, not only does she work tirelessly to make sure no stone is unturned on the food front but also otherwise. From the food tasting to booking her catering to the very end, all of it was a delightful experience. The suggestions for menu changes and her knowledge on food textures and what goes with what was simply spot on. It left our guests raving about the food. We are glad we found the perfect north indian caterer in Bangalore and she has now become our family caterer.
