Very bad management. I as bride was very late due to them. They don’t have staff 1 makeup artist was doing makeup. And my engagement makeup was late due to them. I was 2.30 hour due to them. I came at 3 pm and was ready by 8.30pm and my event started at 7. Guest kept waiting for me.

Before my wedding, i went to the BK studio to book a family package for my mother and sisters and other relatives makeup and hairdo. The ladies at the main counter were the manager and the owner herself, they started giving me compliments for my features and eye colour. As my best friend is already a freelance makeup artist, i had decided to get mine done by her. Upon learning this that me being the bride I wouldn’t be taking their services, the owner of BK STUDIO was at the main counter and she started commenting on my skin that its too dry and im not taking care of it much and that i should use their pre bridal packages to fix my skin. So stupid of them to act like such hypocrites. As if i cared what they said and how fast they changed their statements about me but you are no one to comment on my face like that. So better start acting professional before you get even worse reviews from other clients

I had a very bad experience with BK Studios, Lucknow. One of their makeup artists in the Gomti Nagar branch came highly recommended by a friend. I booked her for my wedding scheduled in June and paid an advance of 13k for the same, while sitting in US, trusting them to take good care of my advance. My wedding had to be pushed to December because of the Delta outbreak and I diligently stuck with BK studios throughout. However, I received a call from them 3 weeks before my wedding date saying that the makeup artist I had booked is no longer available and I will instead be sent a replacement! This was unprofessional to begin with but just the beginning of all the unprofessionalism I had to deal with since. I requested for a trial makeup with the replacement artist and agreed to pay for travel and stay for the trial (for no fault of mine) but still I was not provided with the details of the replacement until I requested for a refund of the advance amount. The replacement artist’s looks were not good so I again requested for a refund and followed up multiple times for it. In response, I was suddenly told that the original makeup artist I had booked is now available, after I had booked another artist at my end and paid the advance to her. Since then, I have been requesting for a refund but have not received any response from Afiya or Sapna - the two employees I have been in contact with throughout this torturous journey. Please don’t book them! They are extremely unprofessional and I sincerely believe they lie to hard earning professionals like me who aren’t available in person to go to their studio to demand their rightful refund.

For the last 1.5 years, they have kept my money because of covid, and in the name of the policy, they never intended to give it back to me. These people can’t even do the smoothening properly and they have a very arrogant and unapologetic attitude to their customers. 1. Worst thing is the manager will say I am helpless, this is my policy 2. Real “Bhavya Kapoor” will never talk to you. 3. They keep diverting your calls to other numbers whenever you call them for any grievances

Will never recommend this studio to anyone. My face looked so horrible. All my pics which have come now are so white because of bad makeup. There were cracks and greyness everywhere. Highly disappointed. Even after paying hell lot of money experience was so bad.

Bridal makeup was nice, and makeup artist was also very good. But, she reached 2 hours late on my venue even I did my booking in April 2020, and wedding was on 1st December 2020, apparently they had all the information about timings since April. Still, they delayed it, due to this late arrival few planned things got delayed as well. Also, there was a lack of information regarding my hairdo, which I got at the last moment by the makeup artist, so was not that much satisfied with my hairdo.

She was my makeup artist for my engagement and wedding day. She did an absolutely amazing job with the makeup. I loved the makeup and it was just how I wanted it to be,very natural and subtle. She used very nice products and very hygienic as well. Highly recommended.

I will not say anything related to makeup per say but I am writing this to let people know that how insensitive the people are at BK studio..While getting ready for my wedding, I asked the assistant to keep my Kaliras aside as I wanted to wear them later. After my makeup I had to left in hurry because I had to perform some rituals at home at it was already getting late..I forgot my kaliras at the studio and I begged them to keep the studio open for 15 more minutes as they usually shut down at 8 pm and the distance between the wedding venue and the studio is almost 10km...I sent one of my relatives to collect the kaliras.. and he reached at 8:10..the studio was already closed by then..and I couldn’t wear my kaliras at my wedding.. those kaliras are not the fancy ones .. we have ritual in which loved ones, Friends and relatives tie kaliras on brides hand & give their blessings.. I kept on calling at the studio but nobody picked the call.. these people made my cry at my own wedding. Today I got my wedding album and my every pic reminds me of my Kaliras that how it could have enhanced the beauty of entire outfit. In the end I would only say that opening a store for just 15 more minutes wouldn’t have made much change to their schedule but would have completely changed my perception towards them. Everything is pretty fake and transactional at BK studio... they really do not understand people emotions. Also, the makeup skills of Head Mua is pretty average and one can opt for senior artist as well to save money and also for better makeup.

Overly prized and just not worth the money..! Very patchy makeup. The lipstick strted cracking in hours..! The worst is they charging you for Chanel/Mac and using cheap products as Sugar and all sort of mix and match stuff, which only ends up ruining it. Since my Engagement makeup was satisfactory i opted for wedding too, I regret till day..! The makeup artists are on their own not paying any attention to the detailing mentioned by the customer. I would never recommend it to anyone.

Bhavya was my wedding and engagement makeup artist,she was reffered by my one of my friend. I hired her for engagement only but after seeing her work and experience i decided to go with her for wedding as well. She used good quality product and also ensure nothing could harm your skin.

This is something I wanted to write from really long. This place is so terrible. I booked makeup at Bhavya Kapoor’s after reading out good reviews also but trust me guys it was a pathetic experience. I looked like some Goddess character from play. She completely ruined my big day. I can never forgive u for that and in spite of saying again and again that this is getting over her artist was not willing to listen and were like ma’am it will be normal after some time but that time never actually came and my day was all ruined because I looked like a monkey

My makeup was so terrible and I looked like a vampire with such cakey makeup and dark lipstick. They force you to go with what they like instead of asking what u need. Makeup was so cakey. I heard a lot about this studio but was so disappointed after taking the services. Everyone said I looked better in engagement without makeup rather than this makeup look. We had booked Bhaavya Kapur for my cousin sister's bridal makeup and she did wonders. She gave her such an amazing look that I couldn't stop myself from complimenting her. The makeup lasted very long and she is super skilled with her work and only uses branded products and understand your skin type and then on progresses. If there could be 0 rating, I would be happy to rate them 0. They are a bunch of unprofessionals and attitude driven persons who do not know anything about customer satisfaction. I keep enquiring the rates of makeup from March for Dec wedding and they kept saying we will start booking from July. When I called in July they said rates are revised and rates were drastically revised not meagre. I sent them screenshots of whatsapp chats that I had with nearly all there centres but no one helped. All they kept saying is we cant help you. They didn't even inform me that rates will be revised. Very unprofessional act. With this attitude I dont know how far will there name would survive. I am highly disappointed.

I couldn't be more happy about my wedding makeup artist. I hired her for all of my wedding functions and she did a wonderful job. Her skills and makeuo techniques are superb. I was waiting for soo long for my big day n was so excited as i booked my makeup wid the best mua in town BK,but my makeup was not satisfactory,not upto my expectations,i booked SEnior artist the contour was not good my face looked very bulgy,the kajal was so dark dat it looked really horrifying,it completely changed my face n made me look like a plastic doll,i was such a fan of BK but really disappointed 😔

I used Bhavya kaput for my own bridal makeup in 2017. Her team is truly wonderful. Unfortunately I missed the main lady, but wonderful Preeti did my gorgeous makeup. She was very careful, accomodating and made me look drop dead gorgeous. She took my suggestions and blended in her own style. I also had my hair done by the team. It stayed through the function, enduring my heavy dupatta and lots of chaos without coming undone. Will recommend Bhavya for a first bride any day

It was ?The Worst? experience. Trainees were doing makeup instead of senior artist or even anyone to supervise them. Makeup is patchy, totally powder falling on ur neck and dress. Nothing like they show u on their website. They make something u would not like to watch yourself in the mirror. Not the least, I developed pimples after this stupid makeup. Waste of money, time and ur skin. Awful!!!!

If I could give more than 5 I would do that. For my cocktail I got a nice smokey eye with subtle lips and for my wedding I got a light and subtle look as the lehenga and jewellery was very heavy. I loved both my looks!

I Hired Bhavya as my Makeup artist. I was not as satisfied with bhaavya but more satisfied with senior artists, the work was good, the attitude was not good in the parlour, instead of boosting your confidence, they say bad things. they said things like "makeup cant help your skin" quality of work was okay.
