I had a very bad experience with BK Studios, Lucknow. One of their makeup artists in the Gomti Nagar branch came highly recommended by a friend. I booked her for my wedding scheduled in June and paid an advance of 13k for the same, while sitting in US, trusting them to take good care of my advance. My wedding had to be pushed to December because of the Delta outbreak and I diligently stuck with BK studios throughout. However, I received a call from them 3 weeks before my wedding date saying that the makeup artist I had booked is no longer available and I will instead be sent a replacement! This was unprofessional to begin with but just the beginning of all the unprofessionalism I had to deal with since. I requested for a trial makeup with the replacement artist and agreed to pay for travel and stay for the trial (for no fault of mine) but still I was not provided with the details of the replacement until I requested for a refund of the advance amount. The replacement artist’s looks were not good so I again requested for a refund and followed up multiple times for it. In response, I was suddenly told that the original makeup artist I had booked is now available, after I had booked another artist at my end and paid the advance to her. Since then, I have been requesting for a refund but have not received any response from Afiya or Sapna - the two employees I have been in contact with throughout this torturous journey. Please don’t book them! They are extremely unprofessional and I sincerely believe they lie to hard earning professionals like me who aren’t available in person to go to their studio to demand their rightful refund.

Very bad management. I as bride was very late due to them. They don’t have staff 1 makeup artist was doing makeup. And my engagement makeup was late due to them. I was 2.30 hour due to them. I came at 3 pm and was ready by 8.30pm and my event started at 7. Guest kept waiting for me.
