DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE OF HIRING THESE PEOPLE FOR ANY EVENT! Please consider the following as a criticism of the "service", or the lack thereof, we received in the name of platinum package from Akshit. Here is the list of products and services that were included in the "platinum" package. I have written a brief summary of what we received against each of these items. 1. Photographers - 2 candid and 1 traditional Videographers - 2 cinematographers (+1 assistant) and 1 traditional videographer There were only 2 people with a camera at a time at each of the event of my 2 day wedding. When booking this package, I had specifically confirmed with them the number of photographers and videographers to cover the bride and groom's side separately. The promised number of professionals were not available during the entirety. 2. Full post production on selected 100 images We selected 100 photos and out of those, they gave 99 back "post-processed". We would like to understand where in the world post-production means simply adding a filter on. We could have done these ourselves using free editing apps on our phones. We had specifically asked for some edits that they conveniently ignored because they had already received full payment from us. They simply selected all the photos and applied a preset filter on them and send them back to us without having an ounce of shame. 3. Two photobooks of 50 sheets each They gave us two poor quality hard cover books that I refuse to call wedding album. They look so cheap and the pages and binding look like they are just about to fall apart. 4. E-photobook Akshit gave us a link to a google drive folder that contained 100 odd jpegs that are individual pages from the photobook. A layman with access to the tools these photographers have would have been able to put together a decent pdf instead of the useless link that they have provided us. We won't be sending this link to the invitees because we will be laughed at for hiring such amateurs 5. Cinematic film (30 minutes) Cinematic trailer (2-3 minutes) Cinematic teaser (50-60 seconds) Traditional film (1 hour) We were happy with the films we received, but disappointed that some of the most important moments during muhurat and jaimala were not captured in detail and with care. There are no close ups or decent shots of jaimala. Even in the few available, there are people in the background and people passing in front of the camera. There are no close ups of my husband putting sindoor on my forehead or him tying the mangalsutra. We requested a few BASIC changes (which should have been picked up by the editor) that they finally made with a lot of difficulty and reluctance. We had to spend hours on the phone with Akshit's staff to get this sorted. 6. Raw images and all raw footage Raw images delivered. They were not planning to give us any raw footage because they were lazy to deliver it to our place and refused to post by courier as well. After many calls and back and forth WhatsApp messages, they delivered our videos. This should have been done without us having to ask/beg. 7. Two photo frames Received at our local address, can't comment on quality as we live overseas. When we questioned Akshit on the quality, which is the minimum anyone would expect, he insulted us by saying that we shouldn't compare ourselves with Ranbir/Alia. We seriously doubt if all the photos in his portfolio were taken by him/his staff. Akshit should be ashamed of calling himself a photographer. He and his team have given us nothing but grief and sleepless nights. They should be paying us for all the trouble they caused us, not to mention the lifelong disappointment of not having our marriage captured properly. I do not deny the fact that a couple from his team are talented - he should let these people free and not let them rot under "Creating Moments by Akshit".
