Deepa as an individual mehendi artist is good but not as a team mehendi artist. Her mehendi applying skills were good and according to the reference photos of bridal mehendi designs. However, I expected professionalism from Deepa. 1. She came with a team member who is an amateur and seemed like a trainee. Since, the request was for Bridal mehendi and plus 3 family members, I expected Deepa to bring along someone as good as her. My one bridal hand looked good but other bridal hand looked less clean in design. 2. Deepa focused more on reference photos for mehendi designs. Although, I chose my bridal mehendi designs from Pinterest. I expected that Deepa would have stand-alone designs of her own which could be equally good for my family members. However, my mother's mehendi design looked very child-like and she was very dissatisfied. 3. The quality of henna is more chemical based. The henna started coming off five days later post wedding and the henna was literally peeling off from the skin. This showed that henna quality wasn't good. 4. Deepa takes conveyance fees from her client who are in the same city as her. A fact she didn't mention when I booked her for bridal mehendi. Though, I didn't mind paying the fee but a heads-up is always better. Her conveyance fees was also high for my location. Deepa should clearly share terms and conditions to her clients before taking bookings. Overall, my experience was very okayish.

My experience with the mehendi artist was okayish. She was punctual. There were total 3 people who came for the bride (which was me) and 10 other people. Her work is clean and good but it is not something exceptional, i mean you can find many mehendi artist who do the same work at the same or sometimes lesser price. My main critique with their team is that it felt like they were unhappy doing the job they signed up for and they had a vibe that they just wanted to be done with it. I don’t really know them personally so I don’t expect them to be all gaga and chirpy but atleast look like you are part of a mehendi function😅 Also they didn’t do a great job with the people who got their Mehendi done at the end, so some of my cousins and friends were not satisfied

I booked DEEPA MEHENDI ARTIST for my 1st Karvachauth occasion. And, I truly liked her work. And would surely recommend all the interested ladies to go for this mehendi artist if you have any related occasion or celebration.

First of all let me start this review by providing a quick concluding line, reasons for which I'll list further. "DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND OCCASION BY BOOKING HER" I have my wedding due in December and after going through the feedbacks I booked her up in August. Since the moment I spoke to her she pressured me at first for the booking amount, from the way she speaks to her behaviour you can she the unprofessionalism laden in her. 1. I spoke to her at first in the evening and told her that I'll confirm the next day but she kept pinging me since the morning that if I don't give the booking amount now she won't take the booking. 2. Just after transferring the booking amount the first message that comes up was- mam confirm number of guests and design. I was quiet shocked at the way she was behaving and i tried to explain her that we are currently in a pandemic situation and I can't give her an exact number of guests 4 months prior to the wedding. I gave her a tentative number but she didn't seem to agree. 3. She has absolute no sense of creativity, she pestered me till this month for providing her the exact design and timing. As a bride you would know there are 100 things you need to deal with, a mehendi artist pestering you everyday for such things is sure to piss you off. I choose to deal with that too, I provided her the exact time, a reference design and tentative guests. 4. Its October now and she calls me up blaming that because of me she can't take any bookings for the same day. I told her that I already provided her the time and she is free to take any booking as per her convenience, to which she says- "mam written me nahi hai mujhe kuch yad nahi rehta". I texted the same on whatsapp then. 5. The next message that comes is- the package for mehendi will be *** which was 3x amount of the initial amount that she spoke to me about. I called her and asked that why exactly she increased the amount so much because initially she told me bridal mehendi starts from 5100 and for any figure it might increase 500-1500 more (And mind you the design i sent her was a very basic design with just small 2 figures nothing extravagant) she says your design is very detailed and this is the final package, she also choose to increase the per hand cost of guests god knows why! 6. When i Choose to confront her she says this " Mai phone pe itne log se bat karti hu mujhe yad nahi rehta maine kya bola tha" when i told her ki message pe bhi yahi bola tha she says " Mera phone kharab ho gaya hai mere paas purani chat nahi hai". I sent her the screenshots of the chat and after getting caught she texts me saying I am returning your booking amount. This female believes in PREDATORY PRICING, after wasting my 2 whole months, just 1.5 months away from my wedding she chooses to ditch me because I am not a fool enough to pay her as much as she wants. I am ok with paying more but the person should have a validity of his own statements. If you are ready to deal with all of the unprofessionalism above and to top it all up RUDE behaviour, please go ahead and book her because she'll just lure to look at the feedbacks which are built by her.
