Extremely dissatisfied with the delivery and quality of the photos. My wedding happened in Nov 2023 and agreement was to share edited photos within 45-60 days post wedding and after multiple followups I got the edited photos almost after 90 days. On top of that most of the photos shared are repetitive and of terrible quality. A local photographer would have delivered a better quality in cheaper price. Upon followup I am told i will get re edited photos but till date I am waiting for it. There is no responsibility and proactiveness from delhivelvet side. To get a response multiple followups are required. The videos are still due and have got no ETA on when I will get. On whatsapp I was told by the account manager Vidhi that I will get videos by Feb end and here we are in March and yet no update. I would like to put out the quality of photos.I can just add 5 but there are many such photos and many repetitive photos as part of edited 1200-1300 photos.

I had a plethora of phone calls and Zoom meetings with Divishth and every time, he was extremely patient and understanding about my vision for the Roka pictures. Milind and Nikhil from the team were running left and right to get the most dreamy pictures for Divij and me. Delhivelvet was the first vendor we booked for our wedding after lot of research and reviewing the works they have done in past. Needless to say they are ace in their game but we had what you can say the worst of experience. Weddings photographs are something which you will cherish for long. Our was a pandemic wedding, when hardly the weddings were happening we decided go with it. When we had booked Delhivelvet we agreed on a certain rate as per our contract however, the result which we got is really hard to take. If i get to compare those pictures and videos against the other works they have published on their page you will be shocked to see the quality of work delivered. This is mainly due to the fact that we freezed the deal at a pretty decent rate which as compared to today’s rate is on lower side as you can clearly see the quality of work has been compromised. You can check the photographs which were shared with us in first place. This is not the quality of work you would expect from someone who is in this industry for long. I don’t even have a single portrait of my father in my entire wedding. I dont have a single mehendi full length portrait. My wedding portraits are dark and highly contrasted - check the mehendi function pictures attached it was a bright sunny morning what looks in picture is a gloomy day. And there many such cases. Can it be any worse ? Despite calling out all these issues they were so unprofessional in dealing and were not ready to accept what they have done. We got our pictures delivered after nearly 8-9 months after getting rounds and rounds of changes in edits. This is highly unacceptable. I will not deny the fact that some of the pictures are good but the max is of such amateur quality that i cant ever share it anywhere. If you ask me you have ruined our life long memories from the most important day of our lives. You should call this out at the very beginning if you were to compromise on quality basis the package level. Since, ours was a pandemic wedding we initially thought that the rates have come down since there is no business in market. But if this is the quality you are delivering basis the package level than i am sorry to point this unprofessional behaviour of yours and your team in delivering the results. Not just us we have the guests and friends coming back to us commenting on poor quality of pictures. I have better pictures from the phones than your camera. I wonder why did we hire professional photographers then ? Highly disappointed!! Please be very cautious when you hire a professional and ensure they are not compromising on quality anytime.

I am obsessed with getting clicked and these guys made me get tired of getting clicked by the end. They gave it their best to capture every moment during the 2 days of my destination wedding. Got so many amazing photos that it’s difficult to choose from. Best team ever.

Swaroopa was a dream to work with. Elegance and quality is her thing so the whole planning phase went on like a breeze. She understood and implemented everything I wanted and I'm so glad I chose her. My experience with my wedding photographer turned out to be great. The pictures came out beautiful and just exactly how I wanted. They did my Pre wedding shoot as well and managed to cover my entire wedding events. I loved their work and have high words of praise for their efforts and hard work. Keep up the creativity!

The entire team of Delhi velvet became a family for my two day event. All the pictures were so effortless and worthy. We didn't feel like posing too much and getting clicked, it was like all the fun moments being captured.

Extremely unprofessional and untrustworthy ones ! Changed their own statements at-least 5 times and ya they only shoot high end weddings or else they will make you feel that yours is undoubtedly a lower end and not worth to be shot by them . Poor management and lack of coordination wasted 2 months of mine in finalizing the photographer when the owner misbehaved with me post which i could not hire them as his statements and rude arrogant tone disturbed me mentally. At the end its also about the attitude you carry and behavior you display not only the photography you do. All the best guys if you have chosen them..

The initial was not really good because of the team’s unpreparedness and lack of planning even on the destination prewed shoot. However, DelhiVelvet’s team made up for this by cooperating and being extremely delightful in terms of editing and incorporating our suggestions. We gave them multiple revisions and the team was very diligent in providing us in short timelines. Along with their photography skills they know how to make their clients happy and satisfied by their work. Thank you for beautifully capturing our memorable moments and being cooperative with us :)

We had hired Delhi Velvet to capture all our wedding moments and they had done a great job. We really liked their work, it's very nice. The team is very much accomodating and understand our requirements. They are so responsive and are always ready to make last minute changes. They edited so many things again because I asked them too, very cooperative! Their quality of work is very nice and they are not so hassley about the things. Our experience has been great!

Please do not spoil your big day with them!! Such a hopeless experience ! These guys do not have any experience , no photography skills , poor edits. Did not cover my complete wedding and whatever pics they clicked were useless and dark! I don’t have even one picture of my immediate family in a single frame. They gave me my wedding video after 2 years of my marriage and when I told them this is not up to the expection , they said this is what we can do , nothing else .

My photographer was Delhi Velvet and they were a team of 6 that were covering our entire wedding and the best thing I liked about them was their dedication towards their work. They hardly rested and were only focusing on getting good pictures till even at 3 am at night. So yes according to the price they charged,they work was justified.Source

Delhi velvet for my wedding photographer. They had a done a good job in my wedding however some of the camera men who came were not that great compared to some of them from their own team members. Overall was a decent experience.

The service was pretty good but the team was not very pro active during the event. The photos clicked were very good.

I found these guys on wedmegood and took a risk given that I had no background of who they were. Frankly, the best decision I’ve made for the wedding. We told them we didn’t want anything too romantic and cheesy and they gave us exactly what we wanted. They were professional and gave their 100 percent. My wedding trailer is frankly the best I’ve seen so far. Thank you guys!

1. I am highly disappointed by the backend management of delhi velvet. Divishth isn't duly conveyed of the meeting timings fixed. It has happened twice. Resultantly, I had to bear the repercussions. 2. Being in a service industry, I would wish that it is learnt to separate one's personal life from working. There is no justifiable reason to get abruptly rude with a client. 3. Under all circumstances, clients convenience and preferences should be duly considered. Humility never fails to pay off in the longer run. Probably I was mistaken in placing the greatest hopes post first meeting.

Hiring Divishth Kakkar and team for covering the big day of my life has been the best decision I made amongst all the aspects involved in organising the wedding. He has done a fabulous job at capturing every beautiful moment doing the day, and I could see all the hard work that he had invested in building up a great album for me and my husband.
