She spoiled my engagement as the makeup was pathetic. she didnt know anything about makeup she charged 25000 for that makeup and spent hardly 10-15 minutes at the time of booking she said to come with team or three persons but only two persons came she and her hair stylist both were pathetic w booked makeup for two more persons at last we all three had to wash the makeup and we did ourself which was much better than her. So my sister got married on 5th Feb, 2017 and it was such a heavy day as there were like 1000s of weddings happening around. Me, my sister(the bride) and my mum got our engagement makeup done from some parlor nearby our house and the experience was HORRIBLE to say the least. We were so disappointed with everything, that for the wedding, we decided to book a freelance makeup artist. When we started searching for the makeup artist, we first read the reviews on WedMeGood and then contacted the person. Most of them were already booked, even 4 months prior the wedding date! We were getting anxious day by day but thank God that Divya was available! You can say that God was saving the best for the last! When I first talked to Divya on phone she was extremely polite and sweet, yet professional! She gave me all the details and answered all my queries with a lot of patience. Adding to that, she came to our place as per our convenience and gave a free trial to my sister. During that free trial only I had made up my mind to book her as I could see the products and skills with which she was doing the eye makeup. After the booking was done, we did not have to worry about anything at all...we just had to carry our lehengas and jewellery and leave everything on her. When the D-Day arrived, she came prepared with everything (like fresh roses etc for the hairdo). Her two assistants viz. Pinky and Reshma were also there with her. Pinky was handling all the miscellaneous work like applying the nailpaint, pinning up our dupattas, helping with the shoe straps, etc. Reshma was the hairstylist. She made excellent hairstyles for me, the bride and my mum. She created an excellent messy bun for me exactly like I wanted. Both of them were very sincere and helped with the draping of the saree and lehengas. Divya is an excellent and an amazing makeup artist. She has a very clear vision of her work. Divya knows what she is doing and is extremely skilled and knowledgeable. She identifies the personality of her client and makes sure that whatever she is doing ?the client will be able to carry that look with confidence. E.g., she could identify that my sister usually keeps her look simple, so she did a flawless makeup on her wedding day which not only enhanced her natural features but added more definition to them. She specifically told us that my sister would not be able to carry a dramatic, in-your-face look?and we couldn?t agree more!!! The makeup for both me and my sister (bride) was subtle, fresh, natural, pretty, glowing and in one word AMAZING! We received lot of compliments and people specially praised the makeup.
