So when I decided to get married, I put up a post on WMG looking for a event planner in Hyderabad. Within 30 minutes, I got a call from Manisha. From the first call to the last day of my wedding, the entire team at gala and Manisha have always been super responsive. I had my entire wedding and it’s décor planned out in my mind and gala events were able to not only execute that but everything surpassed my expectations! I am very detail oriented and the entire design and decor team at gala made sure everything was absolutely perfect! In terms of decor, they added so many surprise elements and it just elevated the entire event! A big Thankyou to Manisha, Sandeep and Rocky for doing a brilliant job at our wedding and making it a roaring success!

Gala events did an excellent job for the decor at the wedding. Manisha was in touch with us from the beginning, understood what we were looking for and gave us suggestions and recommendations. Sandeep and Sufiyaan was at the site and did a remarkable job answering our calls and helping us through when he had concerns. They did our decor for Haldi, Mehendi, Sangeet and the wedding at Aalankrita resorts and I would highly recommend them.

I will start with the positives of our events with Gala. They did beautifully decorate the 2 spaces that we had for our western and indian wedding in Hyderabad. To an outsider, I think they would have thought that everything looked beautiful and as planned, however to the bride (myself) and groom, we were extremely disappointed with several things that were ignored/ forgotten from our scope of work. What really confuses me is how a company that calls themselves wedding planners, forgot to do such really basic things like - chairs for the bride and groom - not switching on ACs when all guests were sitting in heat waiting for ceremony to start - no confetti or cereomony plan/fan placed on chairs. it was one of our guests that ran to get the confetti for us and the fans went to waste. - sending our guests to the workers toilets in Faluknama palce instead of guest toilets The list goes on and on as there were multiple other things- clearly this company are missing the attention to detail that I thought they would have to make them stand out from other planners. we had our wedding guests commenting saying where were the planners and why were the wedding couple so involved in planning and organising on both days. At two points when I went looking for them for their help, i found 2 girls sitting on their phone texting and the other time I found them in a large group sitting chilling and eating ice creams - while the events were going on with no one checking to see if things were going smoothly (which they weren't). We did not receive any apology or communication from the team despite voicing our frustrations about the things that went wrong which is a real shame.
