Will definitely recommend for a beach wedding as it doesn’t sweat and stays on for hours making you appear fresh and uplifted. Not just me but my mom and sis are fans of her makeup too. The decision to move forward with Ridhi was not only last night, but also, based off a single reference. She is not only quick to respond and communicate ( irrespective of US/India time difference), but also great at keeping track of appointments/ follow up and things that need to be done/flowers/sample hair do’s etc..) I looked through so many make up artists profile on different sites and read so many of their reviews about how amazing the brides felt they looked on their wedding day and they were able to get the look that they wanted , how elated they were etc. And for someone who was not into make up at all I wasnt really able to connect with those emotions. All i knew was I needed to look decent on my wedding day and find a decent make up artist. After a lot of research I shortlisted Ridhi because i liked her style. Spoke to her and the good bit was she was ready to give me a trial. Though it was a half face trial I think she did a wonderful job. And the best part was she knows her skill in and out. Given my very limited knowledge of make up it was difficult for me to guide my make up artist ( the struggle I had on few other trials). But with Ridhi I gave her a very basic idea of my dress and how I want the end product to not look like and she did an absolutely lovely job. I was not in India when I was hunting for my bridal makeup artist. I reached out to multiple makeup artists and spoke to many of them. Ridhi was one of the few who spoke about keeping the natural complexion, skin tone, etc. That’s when I decided that she would be my MUA for the wedding. Ridhi was very patient throughout the entire time we spoke. We even met a week before my wedding at her studio for trial, to talk about the look (makeup as well as hair) that goes with the wedding outfit. Ridhi asked me if I have something in my mind for the look, to which I said I want it to be subtle and side part suits me. Ridhi then suggested a look (that was really sweet of her, as I had nothing specific planned for my look beforehand) and listened to the changes I suggested. On the wedding day, Ridhi and her team were right on time. They made sure that I was comfortable throughout the entire time I was getting ready. Ridhi went out of her way to deal with the hotel management for a glitch they created (by not getting the makeup bags to the room in time). She kept in mind that my skin is sensitive and used just the right amount of pressure for doing the base and the eyes. With Ridhi, it was possible to make changes even during the last minute, and she would do everything to accommodate these. She is a very professional, patient and friendly makeup artist. She made sure that the look was perfect and I was happy with it! The hair artist, Anette, is equally wonderful. I was more for a side part for the look, Anette suggested that I go for a middle part (for which I was not sure initially) as it would suit me better and make the whole look more elegant. Planning a wedding from half the world away is never easy - you cannot schedule in person appointments and don't get a chance to discuss looks in details. But Ridhi had worked with some of my closest friends that I trusted. Both days the makeup was on point and everyone loved the looks! I went for a subtle evening look for the engagement party and a traditional south Indian look for the wedding. Both days, if I may say so myself, I looked spectacular! I am so happy with how the pictures turned out. I danced so much during my engagement party, but the makeup was intact from the beginning till the end! On my wedding day, my south Indian look was highly appreciated and praised by everyone and I couldn't be happier about it! I can't praise Ridhi enough for her work ethic. She was unfortunately not feeling well on the day of my wedding. Even so, she did my makeup perfectly and even did my mother's makeup. I think having a great makeup artist helps relieve some of the wedding stress as you can rely on Ridhi completely and know for sure that you will look nothing but awesome on your big day. Given to her experience, Ridhi knows her brides really well! They were always available for queries, open to our ideas and extremely punctual (even in Delhi's traffic). The most endearing thing for me was that the makeup stayed for really long time. On my wedding day, Ridhi did my makeup at 7 in the evening. The wedding function started from 10 PM and continued till 8 in the morning. During that time I had to change my dresses thrice. I got my bridal makeup done from Ridhi, and it’s been the best decision related to my wedding! I first got a trial from her, and then booked her instantly as I felt that she understood what I was looking for. On the day of my wedding, she arrived right on time with her entire setup including professional lighting and a high chair where I was supposed to sit while getting my makeup done. She set the whole thing up in a span of ten minutes and started with my makeup, the result of which was by far the BEST I have ever looked. My skin was a little troublesome according to me, but Ridhi was so kind to make me feel that my skin was amazing and that everything was great, it really helped! The makeup she used were all very luxurious (from Marc Jacobs to Chanel) and the techniques she used worked so well on my skin. For the first time my skin felt so natural and perfect, even though there were layers of makeup, but I seriously don’t know how my skin felt and looked so natural and flawless. She was very accommodating with my needs and wants and gave me exactly the look I wanted - A matte brown smokey eye with a neutral lip. My hair was done by Ravi who was again brilliant! I've always been very skeptical of makeup as I don't like looking made-up. This was my primary concern and I was looking for a make-up artist who would understand this and not make me look different. Ridhi is extremely professional, very diligent with her work and also very good at what she does :) She remained patient with me throughout the time leading up to my wedding and answered all of my questions with detail and ease. On the wedding and reception day, she and her team were right on time! More than anything else, she discussed my look, hair and everything with me to put me at ease. During the make-up, she was so friendly and approachable and we both chatted non-stop :). I came across Ridhi, when I was all perplexed, worked up about 15 days before my wedding with no decided outfit or jewellery, she started with me from the scratch with what to shop and where to go and I kept texting her all the time.
