Heena was booked for my elder sister’s destination wedding in goa, all functions (mehndi, sangeet, haldi and wedding). Despite of all the 4 functions’ vibe being so distinct from one another, Heena was able to deliver with excellence. She did a subtle soft make up look for mehndi as asked. For sangeet she transformed me and my sister into a total glam celeb. For haldi she did ‘my skin but better’ look for my sister and ‘flushed look with graphic liner’ for me. For the wedding I asked her that I want to look like a princess and she delivered. And my sister was transformed into the most beautiful bride ever. Not too loud and not too muted, just perfect was Heena’s makeup. After seeing my sister on her fist function I requested Heena if she can do my makeup as well for rest of the functions and she was so sweet to accommodate and fulfil my request. Even with the time crunch she managed to do all the looks with perfection and did not even compromise on quality. Heena also consulted with me, my sister and my mother for our looks for all the functions well in advance and gave industry trend based suggestions on styling. This helped save us time on the day of functions and we were also more relaxed as everything was discussed and closed in advance. Totally recommend her for ur big day.

Loved the makeup and hair done by Heena but not the traditional Nauvari saree draping services. The makeup was flawless and was fresh throughout the event . Here is why I’m giving her 3.0 stars only. 1. Poor Traditional Saree draping skiils: I would only recommend her for non-Maharashtrian wedding looks only. Though the make-up was spot on but the traditional Maharashtrian Nauvari saree draped by her assistant was very poor. In my opinion the assistant did not have experience in draping expensive Handloom Nauvari sarees that cannot be pre-stitched. The draping was so bad that i cannot upload any on my traditional event full pictures as it is making me look pregnant. 2. Last minute demands: It was first decided that she would only need travelling fees but then later she informed that it wont be possible to complete traditional my look on time and needs extra time as the ceremony was in morning hence would need hotel stay. I met her prior booking and also informed that the ceremony will be in the early morning so would it be possible for her to travel, to which she agreed but later just few days before the wedding she demanded hotel stay. I’m disappointed that even after accommodating all such requests the look was not any where near what I expected.

Absolutely loved her make-up! I had the honor of having her do my bridal makeup, she took the time to listen to exactly how I wanted it done, and I felt so beautiful all night! So many compliments! My bridesmaids looked stunning as well! Forever thankful for her for making me feel like the most beautiful bride! 🙂
