After searching through a huge list of makeup artists, I came across Kalavathi Aunty. There was something enigmatic about her smile, and I felt a gut instinct that I should just trust her, and so I did. I was very insistent on keeping my makeup light, and I couldn't have been happier with both the hairstyle and makeup. I went with a western look for my engagement and traditional south indian for bridal. So what if you end up looking prettier than you expected? It's your D-Day after all!
