We worked with Kiran Productions for our wedding photography & videography back in February and had (mostly) a great experience. Essay incoming - sorry, no TLDR; First and foremost, I want to give a shoutout to the man who made it all happen, Manoj. If you get a chance to work with Manoj, I would take it in a heartbeat! He was there answering questions at all hours of the night, and helped us plan and execute multiple events over 5 days. From location scouting to dealing with last minute changes, Manoj was the man of the hour, every hour! I also want to give a shoutout to the guys behind the cameras- Kishore, Srijith, and several others who worked tirelessly, burning the midnight oil to make our events a success. There was even a day when the team was up until 2am and had to be up again at 6am. The work ethic exhibited by the team on the ground is unparalleled and I would work with this same team 100x over. They were always attentive to the situation, and always had smiles on their faces. They never asked us to repeat events, and never displayed any frustration during the entire week. Delivery Timeline: Our wedding events took place in early February, and we received the last of our deliverables about 6 months later. I had to consistently follow up day in and day out to see the status of our deliverables, both digital & physical. Clarity of Deliverables: A few months after the shoot we found ourselves getting into petty discussions about what is included and what is not. For instance, they mentioned there would be a “documentary style movie” of the wedding - which was never delivered. To me, that means a curated & edited long-form video with a narrative, but they had an entirely different definition. Another example is the insta reel, we had to remind them quite a few times before it became a reality. Another example is that our 2 albums got switched up & sent to the wrong addresses. My feedback on this is to clearly define the deliverables, and this is an exercise that both the company & the client will find fruitful to avoid surprises at the end. Quality of the deliverables: The videos were edited well, but the resolution was bleh and that is my primary complaint. The team never claimed that they would deliver 4k video, so that is not the issue. The caliber of camera gear they used didn’t translate at all to the end product which was surprising to me. Unsure if this was a capture, edit, or export issue, but in 2022 I expect a bit more of a crisp & clean image. Fuzzy/potato footage was baffling to see. Not all HD is created equal. Their Youtube highlight videos were quite crisp, maybe provide some concrete samples when discussing your project so you have a rubric to compare against in the end. This will also help you accurately convey the color theme/feel you are going for in your end product(s). The substance of the content was great! The editing team was amazing and worked with what they were given. They went above and beyond to address every bit of feedback we gave them. Additionally, the lighting in the scenes was below average at best. In some outdoor shots, the highlights were overexposed into oblivion. I get it, the sun was high in the sky, things move fast, and it’s hard without the right filters, diffusion, etc so not a big deal. The physical photo albums were very high quality! Digital photos were great too. I think a bit more audience capture would be nice as opposed to just the bride & groom family & what's happening on stage - but not the end of the world. +5 stars for the work ethic of the team on the ground & in the editing room. -1 star for zero accountability on deliverable timelines and clarity on commitments. I genuinely believe the team wanted to make our event a grand success, and my wife & I genuinely loved working with them each day. I think if the company increases their accountability on deliverable timelines, their success will see no bounds. The team is quite talented.

After a lot of research, comparison and confusions finally awarded Kiran productions team to shoot my sister’s wedding. The crew were greatly skilled and left with zero regrets for choosing them. The three days event was captured with blended friendliness and professionalism. Though the team was not local to our locality, they themselves co-ordinated to stay and arrive the event spot with great punctuality and minimal address queries. From the point of order detailing till the delivery of the output, the process maintained was excellent. However a slightest scratch on gold was delivery timelines which also could have been excelled with bit of CX in focus. Kiran productions is the only firm I shortlisted off the internet and spoke to before my wedding. They were incredibly responsive, reassuring and understood the concept of a Kannada wedding. I Was sold immediately once we met them! The team managed to grab some incredible pictures and videos that we were all very happy with. They didn't miss anything, and managed to get around on their own, capturing the important moments and people around us. The team is super friendly, the prices reasonable and very professional. our wedding was initially planned during the first covid lockdown time, we had to postpone. kishore and team wer very understanding and accomodative of the situation as we could not decide immediately wen it would get rescheduled. We had rescheduled to the time when the first set of relaxations started, even though there wer inter state travel restrictions, they managed to send their team and cover the events without any chaos.
