I was searching for a makeup artist for so long online in Gwalior and Delhi but did not like any artist that understood my requirements. I was planning to book someone from Mumbai but was hesitant as I would have to pay for the travel and my budget was not that much. For some reason, I did not find Lekha mam's profile initially and one day, I was just scrolling and found her, I loved the makeup in the picture so thought of giving it a try and called her! I usually don't write reviews, you have to be extremely good or extremely bad in your service for me to put an effort to review you & this makeup artist is such that I would like to give her 4.9 or may be 5/5 rating as well! I booked her last year when Covid was on peak. Today reviewing her to help other brides :) :) I contacted her on her Instagram page and she was polite enough to call back and discuss. I was very worried because of Covid but this lady knows to calm you down. I felt things will not go that smooth because of Covid but I was wrong! As it was difficult to meet personally, she scheduled zoom calls where we discussed my looks, my hairstyles and on top she even suggested me the skin care routine as per my skin which really helped. Now the most important thing, as my wedding date was changed twice because of family emergencies, she was kind enough to manage. I cannot thank her enough for that! I was still worried if she will show up on the wedding day as Covid restrictions were increasing (we decided to go for a intimate wedding due to rise in the cases) but she not only was on time but also made me look the best version of myself as promised on our zoom calls almost a year ago :P Very subtle makeup. I booked her for my for my wedding and all other functions. She was very punctual and was always on time. My entire family loved the makeup. The eye makeup she did was out of this world. Very subtle and natural for the day events and glamourous in the night (she added some glitters in the evening reception eye makeup). I wanted all the looks to be different and she actually did that. She just made my day! Before going with her, I met with a lot of hot shot makeup artists! The so called big names.. but although they may do a good job but there was this personal connect missing. If there is a rating beyond 5 would have given it for sure! I initially booked her for my engagement only as it happened 5 months prior to my wedding. After receiving so many compliments that day, I instantly called her the next day to book for all the functions and no doubt she did an outstanding job. She managed to cover all my pimple scars and the makeup was flawless. It lasted till my Vidai & to be honest, it would have lasted even more but I changed it for Vidai. So to conclude she made our day. My husband loved the makeup. My in laws and relatives were very happy by the looks that she created on me. Each look was different and flawless. she reached on time for all the functions, instead I was late by 30 mins for my Sangeet makeup and she waited without complaining. she has the best team and is very friendly.
