A few months ago, I was going through a list of Makeup Artists on WedMeGood trying to pick the best makeup artist for my wedding in December. Picked Vara based on her lovely bride pictures and am I glad I did!! She is very helpful and an amazingly quick expert in her field meaning I was a beautiful pretty bride on time for all the events which was hugely appreciated by family and friends. I was probably the least communicative bride having messaged her on Whatsapp on only a couple of occasions before meeting her in person for 10min few days before the D day! We didnt have a chance to do a trial or even discuss much on exactly what I wanted but she did a fabulous job with the limited brief she had and I have never looked so beautiful...all the compliments pouring in at the wedding and social media attest to it! Varalakshmi is the best and my favorite makeup artist. Very warm and friendly and open to our thoughts. I found her on the Wedmegood app and contacted her. Her response was immediate and I just didn't have to think after she gave the trial. she made me look flawless on my reception and everyone complimented my look on my big day. She knows just how to make you look awesome when it comes to defining each and every part of your face. I felt and looked like a princess which was exactly what I wanted!! ???? I had a very good experience with her and her hairstylist Teju as well. Both were extremely friendly and made me feel comfortable. I found Vara on Instagram and liked her work. I couldn't meet with her in person but we spoke over the phone and I told her what I was expecting. I must say I’m really lucky to have found Varalakshmi for my big day. I just cannot thank her enough for the amazing work. Being a girl who has never had keen interest towards makeup , I was quite apprehensive about getting makeup done for my wedding as I always felt it would look too artificial. But, taking suggestion from some of my acquaintances I decided to get few trials done. Varalakshmi was the first one I approached. After just one call, I had made my decision to pick Vara because she was very welcoming to all my thoughts in the very first conversation. I am truly lucky I found Varalakshmi for my bridal makeup. Being a bride from the US, I came 1 week before my wedding in Bangalore (crazy, I know). I frantically searched for the perfect makeup artist. I came across Makeup by Varalakshmi on WedMeGood and I absolutely loved what I saw.
