I opted for the services of Prajna after receiving positive feedbacks from my acquaintances and looking at her earlier works, still, being the biggest day of my life, I was a bit worried. But, i think, no one else could have made me ready like Prajna. Right from saree draping, makeup and especially securing the jasmine flower or 'mallige jalli' as we say in Tulu, every thing was managed professionally and done perfectly. She was not at all serious . I had to remind her again and again about my wedding date. But I never expected that she will cheat .. previous day of my wedding her husband called me and said,she is admitted to hospital due to ill and we need to look for other artist. Such a dramatic family I can say, still I thought must be true ..but next day of my wedding, I just visited her studio just to return rental jewellery which my sister booked from her. Thankfully god made me to see her real face..I saw her in the studio, I was shocked to see, since I heard she was admitted. Later I got to know that she have cheated many people the same way. She always cancel last moment when she get any one who pays more. She is fake person and cheater. I booked her two months in prior, after informing her about the kind of makeup I want and everything else. I even went and met her in person to discuss all the details. She spoke with all the fake sweetness in the world, took the advance payment from me, agreed to get the accessories for me, only to cancel on me on the PREVIOUS DAY of my wedding! Yes, she cancelled on the previous day. Last minute I had to run around looking for a makeup artist (thank God I found someone way better than her) and the accessories (she didn’t bother to even send me the accessories she had promised to get). Later when I checked, I got to know that this isn’t the first time she’s done this. She always cancels on the last min when she gets anyone who pays her more. She didn’t even bother to call and apologise. She has no integrity, no values and no ethics. Haven’t come across anyone who is so unprofessional. She is a very fake person as well. This attitude of hers is not gonna take her anywhere. Request you to spread this word, so that no other bride will have to run around looking for a makeup artist on that previous day of her wedding.

My daughter says she did not feel at ease or comnfortable at all, by being made ready by prajna. we picked Prajna from the various reviews, and initially she came across as approachable, but as the wedding date approached, and on the wedding date, I realised that this is one very unfriendly person, who does not make any attempts to make a nervous bride comfortable. the reviews of hers seem overrated or people from the same cultural background of her own, namely from the mangalore regions.( we are nri's). if a makeup artiste , can make snidy remarks about a bride's hair being too thin or too oily, the reader can imagine the maturity that this makeup artise has to make these comments to a bride getting dressed up. simply awful. we were very accomodating to prajna. she was hired to do just the bridal makeup. I had planned to accomodate prajna with my daughter, and my younger daughter, and my niece together at the resort where the wedding was being held; so the bride has company, and the makeup artiste can be made to be part of the family. but at the last minute prajna , requested that 2 of her team mates be given accomodation, ( as she had got a last minute "contract" near our wedding venue). I had no choice but to give in. anyway, lessons learnt. never pick someone just off the internet. summing up, Prajna is not a bad makeup artiste, but not someone that i would recommedn for my friends or family unless she improves on her people's skills and the ability to listen to what the bride's needs are. i hope prajna has the maturity to take my feedback as a critical feedback and not get defensive. anyway, i wish her good luck. hope other brides have better experiences.
