Makeup by Areebah Gani

I reached out to Areebah after scanning through millions of make-up artist profiles on wedmegood and other wedding planning platforms. Her work and past reviews impressed me much to directly make a call and seek her availability for 27th Jan! I can not describe how wonderful she is as a person and also as someone willing to make your big day even special. Right from giving me suggestions on my skin type and texture, to the kind of jewellery and accessories that will look good with my attire, she was absolutely kind and professional in her conduct. I was very keen on doing minimal makeup for my wedding and she understood that from day 1. She reached early on the wedding day and prepped my skin so beautifully that I did not have to do a touch up for another 6 hours (yes, north Indian-wedding-rituals do last long!). I also had to change my dresses between functions and I had booked Areebah for just one of them. She ensured that the makeup is such that it works for both the functions (matches well with the dresses and pieces of jewellery). The hairstylist that Areebah brought did a fantastic job as well. Beforehand, both Areebah & the hairstylist had asked me for some of the sample pictures of the hairstyles that I was willing to have and the final outcome was not just the same but even better than the reference pic! My parents, cousins, relatives were all highly impressed with their work and were extremely delighted to see me all dolled up! Areebah went the extra mile by helping me get inside my oh-so-heavy lehenga and wear all the right pieces of jewellery at the right place! Overall, I can't recommend her enough for anyone who is going for minimal yet classy and elegant makeup as she would do wonders for you! P.S the pics attached are clicked by phone cameras and one can see the brilliant work in such quality as well. I can't wait for the shots from the photography team and share them here as well!

I chose Areebah yo do my bridal makeup. I wanted a minimal makeup look for wedding and she did the job just on point. You just need to communicate your requirements a little in advance and share some references and she'll give you exactly what you want. Her hair stylist was also very cooperative and quick at her work. Areebah is surely the go to person for all parties and functions. Thank you Areebah!
