DADDY’S LITTLE PRINCESS TO QUEEN’S OF HEART... To begin with... my new journey from daddy’s little princess to queens of heart had taken its flight... Just like other princesses I was also super stressed about every minute details because it was a big day. I was Super stressed and super nervous so didn’t know where to start from so I just took my notepad and a pen to write down all my needs from make up to hair to photoshoot to photography to decor events to my outfits what all to take every single thing. While starting with make up I had sort listed 10-15 make up artists then I later went through their Instagram accounts and out of which I had finalised 5. Now I was super confused to choose from the 5 so then I forwarded them to my sister and mom to help me finalised one and later that night we came up with our votes but fortunately we all voted for makeupbydishadoshi loved her profile and the looked she had given to her brides say it any function from engagement to reception to haldi to wedding look she was perfect in all. Immediately the next morning I texted her for sharing with her quotations regarding every functions and styling every details. After receiving her text I was shocked my her quotation she was reasonable and I was super happy 🤗🤗 So I immediately booked her from all my functions which was on May 2020 but unfortunately due to pandemic and the lockdown situation I had to postponed my dates. So now super worried and stressed I called Disha but she was so sweet she immediately calmed me down and asked to not worry and to be stress-free. She was super helpful and told me to finalise the dated and tell her. Till the end of October my dates weren’t finalised but super patient and even asked me to be stress free from make up and hair, saying don’t worry I will take care of your all looks. Finally the day arrived in December 2020 and I had left the looks on her in total I had around 4-5 looks from sangeet to reception everything under her. Disha on the other hand was very punctual actually she use to be always before time. Well dressed and super comfortable with herself and her work. She and her teamed had managed themselves in every space and situations. She was excellent in her work understanding, calmed and even graceful. Whenever she would start with her make up she used to be well planned with the look she wanted to create from glamours to Shimmery to Smokey look she was just perfect with her point. The most important part of make up is eyes and the looks she use to create on eyes was just amazing and extremely good I just loved her eye make up. So to start with .. just like every other girl when my wedding date got fixed the first thing I wanted to do is book the makeup artist , and for which I had already decided in my mind whom to book ( it wasn’t disha ) so I called her and she told me she’s already booked for destination wedding on those dates , and I was in literally tears , blank , clueless what to do now .. Then asked my friends n cousins to send suggestions for the same but no one was clicking in my mind because I had already made up my mind for what I want and stuff . So then me and my fiancé decided to make a fresh start and Randomly search for makeup artist on Instagram . All I typed is makeup artist and I got endless options , odd 50 artist we started with and believe me I noted down everyone’s name and went thru the entire profiles and started the shortlisting process . Just like most of the brides prefer , even I wanted simple subtle makeup which will not make me look someone else just for a day !! The saga of DM and shortlisting went for a long which , some artist replied some didn’t and what not . So in this process we came across “makeupbydishadoshi” and we liked her makeup pics and her pics too 😜she is beauty herself !! I then DM disha to inquire her charges and availability on my wedding date . Her reply was quick in few hours so then we had detailed chat regarding my requirements and all .. Mine wasn’t a simple 1/2 looks makeup , I had to get 4 looks on a same day as we had were getting married in Maharashtrian and Gujju style, which in itself had 2 complete variations of look followed by reception. And since majority of the people will be the same throughout the entire day so each look had to be different from the other . So my main concern was product quality , shouldn’t look cakey, no cracks , finishing- keeping speed in mind , fresh ,dewy and natural look Etc . Then things worked well for us and we decided to go for makeup trial with disha. She has aaaaamazing vanity with all top brands of products u just name the brand and she has the products , yes and she used them upon me at the time of trial that was very impressive part as usually many artists don’t use them during trials or unless booking amount is paid . At the time of makeup trial disha even showed us the options for mathapatti. And post the trial we were so done and satisfied that we finalised her in a day or two . Finally D day arrived ! All the night I was tensed what If disha doesn’t reach on decided 5.30am what will I do n all , but Disha and her team We’re like a wake up alarm for me they actually arrived while I was in bed ! I was extremely thrilled to see her setting up everything .. her huge vanity with so so many different products. She and her team were well organised they were 3 of them. One started with hair for my mom while disha started with my makeup and it was hardly 30/40 mins that I was all ready with my look including hair. I could never imagine my self looking so pretty ever! The hair bun , makeup , lips eyes everything just the way I wanted . It was so fresh and natural . From my personal experience I can say when the bride is ready before time , she herself and everyone around her are calm and relaxed. Similarly even my mom was looking stunning the makeup was age appropriate which I feel is very important. So as I mentioned we had a long day to go and this was only my 1st look. Later in middle I had to quickly change my sari to maharashtrian navari and a quick makeup fix which also happened with ease. Later came in the major changeover to a typical gujju bride ! Where the entire attire and makeup had to be changed in max 30 mins , it was a race against time. But disha n her team were all set and ready with all required products, as I entered the room they started and just like a magic wand I was all dolled up!! And all I was could say is it was amazing amazing work , it not easy I believe to make a complete changeover in such a little time . And the main challenge is that same set of people are waiting out to see the same bride in different avatar !! But disha totally did a fab work ..even the gujju crowd was amazed to see the transformation, simple yet classy , with the beautiful floral bun and all traditional jewellery. It was so perfectly done that even outsider wouldn’t be able to make out that I’m Maharashtrian!! The elaborated wedding ceremony went much beyond the time that we assumed. The time I went in the room for getting ready for reception some guest had already started to come in . I was totally on gas ! All exhausted with no stamina left ,I was more stressed because of lack to time and I have complete new look again Which odd 1000/1200 people will be seeing. There were 100s of questions in mind regarding make up that how will my face look ? will the makeup go grey ? Will she be able to do it fast ? As there was a lot of family pressure too for getting ready in 10mins !!! , will she do it the same way in less time ... and what not ! I just closed my eyes and left it to her and when I opened them all I had is tears of happiness to see myself actually ready in 15mins ! With all the hair extensions, curls , makeup .. I myself couldn’t make out if I was tired and how my face was sometime ago . The beautiful makeup actually changed the whole mood And believe me the reaction of ur husband when he sees how the makeup has added to the look is priceless and something every girl wishes. The best part is her magical products that kept my skin hydrated all the time , and gave that fresh glow throughout even when I was dead tired by the end of my day my makeup and hair were all in place ready for another reception as well !! I want to thank disha for her superb work with excellent finishing ! My advice to all the upcoming brides is u gals can totally trust her without taking any makeup trial.
