Nandini was my MUA for the sangeet and the wedding. Both events had different makeup looks - Sangeet needing a glam/reflective look & the wedding more matte. I didnt have the chance to test out the looks with Nandini prior to the wedding and we just went for it on the day. Both the looks Nandini created were incredible! She was so great at gauging what would be best for me. You not only turned my dream look into reality but also made sure I was comfortable in my own skin. The transformation was natural yet bridal, which is a rare combination to find. In this world of business and transactions, Nandini was nothing but a breath of fresh air. Such a soft spoken and understanding make up artist. My wedding was in Goa and she was probably the first few make up artists I spoke with when I was looking for an MUA on wedmegood. Our initial few interactions were enough to make me comfortable (considering all brides are in panic mode at that point of time). Our conversations on the on the phone for the next two-three months were very helpful because she tried to understand me and what I was looking for and I think to my mind, that really helps. She even recommended hair styles with the clothing and jewellery options I had sent to her. So, it's safe to say that there were no last minute decisions or any kind of confusion and we were mostly on the same page. For mehendi, she gave me a soft shade of nudish-peach that went really well with my outfit. She was understanding and she knew what I wanted and gave me exactly that. For sangeet, I was wearing a mint coloured lehenga and I was scared to experiment, so I told her to keep the make-up very subtle (considering I don' wear too much make-up on a daily basis). But, she insisted without imposing on me, a darker shade of eye shadow that I was a bit sceptical to try. But I am glad that she did what she did and I went ahead with her recommendation. For the wedding too, I left the complete look on her and she made me look flawless. And I can't be more thankful to her. She totally respects what her clients want and this is something truly I appreciate about her. Even for my regular skincare regime, she recommended some things that were truly valuable. She ensured i look the best of my natural self! She did put enough makeup for me to not look washed out by the end of the funtions, but at the same time perfect for me to look my very own self! Her makeup is what the bride requires combined with what the bride truly is! 4. Texture The texture of her makeup is just perfect! Flawless and natural, and a touch of blush for the princess look! 5. A correct product and shade of lipstick is very important for a bride to look her besst throughout the event. And she chose just that! 6. Last but not the least, Though she's a makeup artist She has amazing knowledge regarding hair styling too! Her inputs during my hair styling played a major role in my overall look!
