You know one of the worst nightmare of any bride? the make up artist not turning up on the day of the wedding? That's exactly what happened to me because of Nimmy Jagath. At 3 am in the morning of my wedding when I found myself incessantly calling my MUA with no response and totally freaking out, I regretted hiring through an online platform someone solely on the basis of reviews. The only response I got was 1 message from her sister hours after the wedding had begun, apologising. The only compensation I got was refund of the advance. Good luck to you if you're hiring her.

I was considering her for my wedding but everytime I tried getting in touch with her regarding logistics and the doubts I had for booking her, I would get no replies and she wouldn't pick up my calls, no communications what so ever. If before booking behaviour is like this then I don't know how it will be after! Hi, I would like to edit my review as I now understand it's misleading! Sorry about that..Yes Nimmy and I were in touch from the beginning and we had conversations going on and I was about to finalise her.. just had few doubts to which I called twice and sent a msg and got no reply. So you can understand how I felt. 2 calls and a msg went unanswered and hence I wrote this review. No hate and definitely don't want to be misleading.

I’m so happy that I chose Nimmy for my big day. She did an extraordinary job with both my reception and wedding makeup. For my reception, the theme was white and she helped by suggesting a better look than I had planned originally. For my wedding, the makeup and hair made me look like a queen. The overflowing compliments till date are a proof of that. Even after all the rituals, the makeup stayed and I kept glowing. Nimmy has great talent, my makeup was really good. However I was not happy how she treated my sister during her wedding. She accidentally burnt her face with the curling iron and took NO action to manage the issue, not even first-aid. The bride is now left with a scar on her left cheek since months. We reported the incident after a few weeks when the scar was very visible, however we got no reaction. Not worth getting scars on the face, after paying such a huge sum.

I had hired Nimmy for my reception and wedding makeover. I asked her to surprise me and she did! She considered my opinion or changes in all the details during the makeover. She was punctual in her time to reach the location. Very friendly to talk to. I made her wait due to some delay for a her while and she just waited patiently(apologies for that). The make over for both the events was just amazing that most of them appreciated the make over and my overall look. I would highly recommend her. I will be hiring her again for my sisters wedding. Transparency is very important when it comes to wedding planning and Nimmy doesn't charge a cent more than she initially mentioned (provided you are on time). This is something I appreciate a lot. Mine is straight hair n my experience in curling them had always failed. I did mention this to her she convinced me that the curls would stay.also she attached the curl extensions, ofcourse I paid around 2.5-3k for that separately. Trust me the curls didn't last even until I walked to the stage.sooo I had a good combination of straight hair with curled extension looking like a fool.attaching picture. 2.mine was a heavy lehnga n dupatta. Had even told her I had a small dance act so pls pin it up properly again she assured yup it is tight. You know what, in between the dance on the stage my dupatta strted flowing on the floor. I sent her the video of this accident, n she blamed the weight off the duppata.check the pic,you would know why mess I was in in my reception day. 3.adding to this, make up was cakey. heavy concealer under the eye.

Bad experience ... sharing images of my actual skin tone and after her makeup . Hairstyle wasn’t neat as well .. all my family members told you looked very dark , I felt it when I saw in photos. Nimmy Jagath...what do I say about her...it was love at first sight... Once I got her contact, I started following her on instagram...each and every look of her brides I fell in love with... I confirmed her without even meeting. Due to covid I couldn't have a trial, so we had a long chat about me, my likings, my choices. She told me to follow certain things on that day. She did my make up for my Sangeet function, for my marriage day she wasn't available. She came right on time even though it was outskirt of Bangalore.
