So Pavani i chose for my engagement , haldi and mehendi functions, after going through many portfolios, she came by very high reference from multiple sources, and I instantly made my choice. not a good experience. I had booked her as early as May for my brother's wedding in December this year.There was a very lewkwarm response from her in the following months, even when I wanted to discuss with her my looks, she clearly was not interested.then she came up with one absurd request stating if she can do a 'bridal' makeup simultaneously with our makeup and if we can adjust the bride and her family in our hotel or we can go to a nearby hotel to get ready.I told her we could have rather gone to a nearby salon instead of booking an on venue mua, I mean what was the point to which she shamelessly replied "Dude I am not asking you to travel the entire city you can easily come to a nearby place'. On refusing her 'legit' request her behaviour changed completely. For them it is just another booking but for us these are important lifetime events and we cannot risk this with their unprofessional and casual behaviour. She also shamelessly stated that it's just a family makeup and she is doing a favour to me by listening to my concerns as no one pays heed to family makeup. So basically if you don't have a 'bridal' booking they will not take you seriously .

So I was looking for makeup artists in Dehradun for a friends wedding and came across Pavani on Instagram . I’d liked her posts and the makeup she had done on herself but I wasn’t sure how it’d look on me since I’m from Bombay and had never tried her , but she blew me away .
