I couldn't have asked for a more perfect experience with my bridal makeup artist. With Shailee, I knew I was in capable hands. Not only is she incredibly talented, but her calming demeanour instantly put me at ease during what could have been a stressful two days. A couple of days before the wedding, she sat with me at her adorable studio space and took time to understand exactly what I wanted. My makeup was elegant, natural, and lasted throughout the entire celebration without needing a single touch-up. Sangeet and the after party was a good 10 hours of dancing and sweating but the make up didnt move at all. Not to mention, her attention to detail ensured that every aspect of my look was picture-perfect. Her partner for my wedding was the equally talented Avni, who was just as great as a hair artist. Their professionalism and punctuality was an added bonus. I wholeheartedly recommend Shailee and absolutely cannot wait to have her be my make up artist again for any other event possible.

She is very hands-on, solution-oriented approach, is punctual (very important for me), is understanding of requests - my mother-in-law had too many demands like most aunties "Don't do this, don't do that" "This colour doesn't suit me" She changed her mind a million times but Shailee and her team were supremely polite. She is thoroughly professional in handling billing and of course, her work. Her hygiene practices are impeccable! Not a single product was tainted or dirty and she came home for 3 days back to back with her kit feeling brand new each day. I was pregnant and she was very mindful of not wearing perfume that would affect my nausea. The thoughtfulness is just bonus. Most importantly she powered through even tho she fell severely sick (nothing contagious). Overall great human to collaborate with! She is the complete package. So there is a huge difference between a good make up artist and a great one. A great one would make the bride feel like the prettiest woman in the world. And Shailee did exactly that. Her make up as we all can see is so natural and flawless. But to go into details a bit. I have really sensitive eyes, usually whenever I have hired makeup artists in the past,my eyes would water like crazy but with Shailee I didn't even feel it. Her hand is so light, she is so careful and accurate. And moreover she is soooo freaking polite, everytime she would turn me or my face here and there, she would give me a heads up. What can I say about Shailee? She is really good at what she does. I knew from the beginning that I only wanted her for my big day, and I was not disappointed at all. Because I live in another state, I couldn’t meet her for a makeup trial until a week before the wedding. She spent more than 3 hours during the makeup trial to discuss and finalize the look for the wedding. And then on the day of the wedding (3 events), she did such a great job to ensure that all my looks very unique, but natural and comfortable to carry. I am a person who doesn’t wear much makeup on daily basis. So, I am hesitant when it comes to pulling off glamorous/unique looks. Hence, discussing and getting a trial done was so helpful to allow me to share my insecurities and for her to create looks that will make me feel comfortable. Furthermore, it is so important to have clear communication with all your vendors before your event. Shailee had openly shared that she is only comfortable with doing makeup and can help me with my draping and that she needed a fixed amount of time for each look. While this was difficult for me to coordinate with hairstylists, makeup artist, wedding planner, etc, I really appreciated full disclosure ahead of time which allowed me to plan everything out. And finally on the day-off, she was super quick, was thinking on her feet to work-round any issues that came up, and always accommodated. As a bride, I felt comfortable working with her and would recommend her services to all other brides.

Shailee is an expert when it comes to makeup. I picked her for doing my wedding day makeup seeing her own wedding makeup pictures on instagram which btw was flawless. I appreciate the look she pulled out for me just from the reference images I had picked out which was a minimal glam no glam look. Due to covid restriction and tight schedule we could not schedule for in person consultation so we managed to do it over Zoom. She and her team are flexible, accommodating and very well organised with contracting for the services they offer. Iv had the worst experience with her. Just 2 days prior she cancelled my wedding makeup booking only because she thought the hotel booked wasnt upto her standards and apparenty not ^safe^. The most unethical thing todo. I had done the booking 6 months prior and the stress and anxiety it caused me is beyond explanation. The reason I had even booked last minute hotel nearby my home was because due to some emergency we had to vacate the house and I had to find something nearby. We were not with many options. She was so inconsiderate and asked to travel 3 hrs to her place to get the makeup done. Plus the hotel was decent, why will a bride book some dingy place for her d-day. Ridiculously sick behaviour, can never forget!
