I regret hiring Tanu Gupta for my wedding makeup. Despite agreeing not to take photos/videos, she persisted, making me uncomfortable on my special day. Rushing through, she did not drape my saree properly and did my mother's makeup horribly, leaving her looking terrible. Worst of all, she secretly filmed me inappropriately (she asked me to close my eyes when sprayed setup spray and filmed my video) and lied about it. Despite my polite reminders, she persisted in asking to take pictures and videos, impacting my mood negatively on what should have been a beautiful day. Tanu's rush to move on to her next assignment led to poor time management, resulting in a rushed makeup application on my mother. Not only was my saree draped poorly, but my mother's makeup was also done in a manner that made her look terrible. Despite claiming to prioritize customer satisfaction, Tanu seemed more concerned with her own agenda, trying to convince me that her work was satisfactory even when it clearly wasn't. The violation of trust occurred when I discovered Tanu had secretly taken and posted a video of me on her Instagram story without my consent. This deceitful act left me feeling devastated, especially considering I was not dressed appropriately in the video. Despite her initial denial, Tanu eventually admitted to posting the video but continued to lie about the timing of its deletion when confronted with evidence. While Tanu may have positive ratings, I urge others to take my experience seriously and exercise caution when considering her services. I have attached screenshots of our conversations as evidence to prevent others from being deceived or lied to by Tanu Gupta. It's disheartening to know that she has similarly violated the privacy and trust of other clients, as evidenced by her disregard for their attire in her social media posts. Trustworthy and respectful behavior should be paramount when hiring a makeup artist, qualities that Tanu Gupta unfortunately lacks.
